For some young men, the rite of passage from a boy to a man is daunting. I know it was for me, so I simply did not date. I was a slow starter and never showed an interested in girls because I was shy and bashful. Many of you will think that it is disgusting for an older woman to take in a younger boy and teach him about life, love, and yes, sex. My guess is that, for most young boys, it is the thing that dreams are made of. I know it was for me, and it changed the direction of my life in a very positive way.

I have always been addicted to love and romance. I like strong, independent women, so I tend to write about strong female characters that either start out strong or develop whatever inner strength is needed to see them through. My heroes and heroines are sometimes flawed because mistakes and imperfections always build character and strength in strong people. Some of my stories are taken from life’s experiences while others are drawn from experiences I wish I’d had.
In my world, there are no boundaries to the limitless pleasures that can be found in the female form or from the joy that can be shared between lovers. However, my books are not about page after page of mindless, non-stop sex, but when it is appropriate, I try to make it real.
Where love and romance have a chance to blossom, intimacy is usually part of the equation because it is the fuel that ignites the desire that leads to love. I like to think of myself as an adult romance writer with a moral compass. I live in Florida with my wife and three, poorly trained, dogs. Oh, yes, I almost forgot. I love happy endings.
I love hearing from my readers and appreciate their comments and suggestions. Click on the link below if you would like to send me a message.

I read this book some time ago, before I started writing reviews, so this is a catch-up.

This is a wonderfully written coming of age story for a boy brought into manhood by a woman. I’m not certain how autobiographical it is, and the cowboy cover doesn’t have anything to do with the book, but it’s a thoughtful tale.

This is the story of a talented boy with a good heart transitioning into manhood including, setting priorities, working hard, gaining confidence and becoming a good and thoughtful lover.

Transitioning to manhood is a challenging process if you don’t have good role models and a solid peer group. There are so many bad examples in the media and real life. Perhaps we wouldn’t have so many screwed up men if better guidance was available (and I’m not talking about the Mrs. Robinson type guidance from 50 Shades). (The same is true for women, although the messaging there is so screwed up by religion and politics it’s hard to believe any women transition successfully.)

This is a lovely book and story, with a few interesting twists. Enjoy it - I have a number of times.

Mr. Maddox has written a sweet story about a young man who is learning from a older woman about sex and the proper way to treat a woman. His lessons eventually affects his future as well as hers.
