The second in a family of four daughters and one son, Jackie was constantly amusing her siblings with her invented games, escapades, and stories. And she was always reading. She would even walk the family dog, with one hand holding the leash, while the other held the ever-present book. No subject went unread, but once she discovered Historical Romances, there was no doubting her favorite genre.
Jackie has always been the busy type, rarely sitting still without being occupied in at least one activity, and usually more. When she was younger, it was nothing to find her watching television, while doing her homework, listening to music, crocheting like a madwoman, and reading, all at the same time.
After graduating, Jackie gained secure employment with a large service company and relocated with her growing family to the neighboring, sparsely-populated state of Wyoming. She then spent several years enjoying the wildlife, scenery, and open space that Wyoming is known for. In addition to writing, Jackie is an accomplished artist in several mediums, preferring mixed media. She has several pictures in print and has exhibited in art showings throughout the West. There was never anything she loved doing more than reading, however, and once she discovered the thrill involved with putting her own words and fantasies on paper there was no stopping her.
In 2001, Jackie and her family took a huge step and moved to the largest state of the nation; Alaska. Although it was her job that brought her here, Jackie has grown to love this land of amazing contrasts, breathtaking vistas, and the ever-present resident, the Alaskan moose. There's nothing else like it, and the very long days of summer lend themselves to hours and hours of energizing tasks, while the long winter nights are just right for her real love...writing.
Jackie has now written thirteen novels and is continually starting more. The thrill of writing has now been enhanced by seeing her actual story in print. Lady of the Knight is her first published work. It will be followed by Tender is the Knight scheduled for release this summer.

When It comes by Jackie Ivie
Addie didn't need to pick pockets anymore but she kept in practice and because she did this time she was picked up by a detective when she tried to pick his. This time it is different. He is the one mate for her and as a vampire she starts to feel life again. Feeling has been non existent for a long time and this time this hot detective is all she wants. Now she just has to get him convinced that they are right for each other or it could mean his death. Fast paced love story about one of the Vampire Assassin league. This secret organization of hired Assassins have to be kept secret and when the detective and his FBI partners start to zero in something has to be done. Given one night to convince him Addie tries desperately but when he refuses to listen to reason she fears for the worst. Her life now will be meaningless because there is only one true mate and his death would destroy her. Will Nigel the organizations leader get involved and reason with the detective or will his demise destroy Addie. Read this fast moving story by Jackie Ivie and find out. Opposites definitely attract in the latest adventure of the Vampire Assassin League. Mitchell is a cop. Adelaide is a pickpocket, an accomplished pickpocket (she‰Ûªs been around awhile), and a vampire. When Addie comes across Mitch‰Ûªs wallet in her latest take, she feels a connection. She has found her mate, or he has found her. She‰Ûªs not happy he‰Ûªs a cop, especially when he arrests her, twice actually, once after a mind-blowing encounter in his bedroom. Of course she doesn‰Ûªt stick around to go to jail. Mitch has a miserable next day at work (new strength and speed, sensitive eyes, new preferences in cuisine). It‰Ûªs time for a VAL intervention. Akron meets Mitch at his apartment and confronts him with the truth and an offer. Given the way he feels about Addie and the rather intense alternative Akron gives him, Mitch makes a life-changing (haha) decision. Then the cop goes after the pickpocket for an entirely different reason.
I enjoy the Vampire Assassin League series. I like the characters and always look forward to the interaction between Nigel and Akron. Nigel seemed a little subdued this time, but Akron was all Akron. When It Comes is another interesting addition to the series.

As I love and breath I will always love you!!!!
This series that continues to make me love and cherish a woman I never met is amazing to me. The Hero in this book is a bobby or copper as they called them in London when Addie the herione lived. Just got a pickpocket small crime but he has her and then all hell breaks loose because Mitch is not only a bobby he is Addie's mate and she will stop at nothing to find him and love him. Of course it ends happily they always do because Love is universal and can not be forced. There is an appearance of the sweetheart that is named AKRON the leader of the pack and he is swoon worthy. If you love paranormal romance please pick this book up along with the rest of the series thus far because it is worthy to be read and treasured. I love you Jackie Ivie.

This is part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone. To fully enjoy the story, I highly recommend reading the series in order. Ms. Ivie does a wonderful job of making each story unique while still keeping the elements that her readers love. This story has excitement, mystery, historical elements, modern setting, humor, and steamy romance. Unlike most of the series, this one did not have the usual action scenes. The story was so interesting and unique that it wasn’t until I reached the last page that I even noticed there hadn’t been any action scenes. I applaud the author’s ability to still create something so fresh after writing over thirty stories in the same series! I can’t wait for future stories to see what else Ms. Ivie creates to keep this series exciting and vibrant!

When it Comes is Jackie's 31st book in her VAL series. WOW time flys because I can remember reading the first book in the series ( and the 2nd bookwhich is my all time favorite). But anyway back to the review...When it Comes is amazing. I do love when the lead vamp is female. Addie is a pick pocket (by habit more then need) and gets caught by Detective Hartnett. Since he is a stubborn man he pretty much thinks she is a figment of his imagination which makes the bedroom scenes kind of humorous and extremely hot. I loved this story.
I like how Jackie is weaving more of Akron into each story. Each book is a standalone but each story does give tibits of info about Akron so I do recommend reading all the stories if you like a good backstory arch.

Loved it
I love this series. Nigel is becoming such a responsible adult. Addie is a former pickpocket, turned VAL agent. Keeping her skills sharp at a concert she picks the pocket of her mate, a Colorado police detective. Karma, maybe. Mitch is a hard nose detective, from a long line, who is obsesses with the women he just arrested. A fun fast paced steamy story. Akron has to do an intervention, but its worth his time, the League is getting a kick ass new agent, and another of his children has their happy ever after!

so what happens when a cop and a pick pocket find each other . will a arrest change their lives and can he see the truth or will he find out for himself that a pick pocket is his other half . what happens when Akron steps in will he help her to be with her mate or will her mate be no more . find out by buying this book and stay tuned for book 32 . i love this series and cannot wait to read more ,

Amazing book
Jackie has done it again. Each of the Vampire Assassin League books get better and better. The stories are amazing and I couldn't stop reading. The fact that all the books have a HEA just makes reading them more enjoyable

There is never a bad book in this series! Mitch & Addie are a super sexy couple, and I always love reading when Akron makes an appearance.

One great story.
This book had one stubborn hero. Boy did the heroine not only rock his world but turned it upside down and sideways. Loved seeing Akron at the end.
