I have read this before, but my memory was fuzzy enough to read this with some mystery left in it. Kiah is the daughter of Moroni, and ventures where she pleases. It isn't until she ventures into a trap that her life truly takes a turn.

I liked this book and it made me realize just how bone tired Captain Moroni must have really been of war. I loved this book's take on what life would have been like for a daughter of Moroni.

I enjoyed this story. I like fictional characters mixed with scripture people. I enjoyed the way the characters developed and interact.
It creates a different fictional perspective of well loved Book of Mormon scripture.
Recommend this as a good read.

It was a nice idea, and honestly, I like the the war chapters, but I didn't like reading so much about war in this book as much.

Really good book and romance, thought a lot like Servant to a King. I personally think it's better than Servant though... I really want to read Desire of Our Hearts now to see if it's different, 'cause it looked different, not the same old boy meets girl, girl likes boy, boy likes girl but won't lead her on, boy realizes he loves girl too late, different boy after girl type.

Oddly enough, the main reason why I like this book is because it reminds me of the way I write whenever I happen to write out those tidbits we all write out for class, or just for fun. It has the sort of plot I would write and the sort of style I have. I mostly like to read it to kind of learn how to write better, to see where I might make mistakes and what really works in a novel. It's still a good book with some nice strong emotions in it, but if you're looking for the next great American novel, I'd wait until you're in the mood for something less grand.

I love this author. She takes Book of Mormon stories and creates action-packed romances with the minor characters. I highly recommend this author.

This book is about Captain Moroni's daughter, Kiah. She is somewhat of a tomboy and doubts whether anyone could ever love her. Then she meets a young man who is very different from most of the young men she knows, but she finds herself falling for him anyway. At the same time the king men are taking over Zarahemla and her new friend has a secret he can't share with anyone. Secrets in Zarahemla is a great relaxing novel with plenty of adventure.

omigosh this is such a good book! I lvoe it so much that I can't put it down! whenever it is time for me to stop reading I can cause it is so intreging and when I do I am like wait I want to know what is going to happen! It is by a Mormon author which is really cool and it is about this Nephite girl Keiah who loves this lamanite boy. I gorget waht his name is and I am not going to give anymore away so you will just have to read it to figure it out.

Kiah is unusual for her time: a girl who has been trained to fight as a warrior. When she steps into a Lamanite trap, she prepares for a fight to the death. However, the man who discovers her is also unusual--a Lamanite who may be defecting to the Nephites.

As their friendship grows, they must work together to stop political maneuvering and evil in high places from destroying Zarahemla and themselves.

I liked this one better than her Servant to a King. It started out with suspense that grabbed you and did not have moments, at least for me, where it lost my attention. It was one of those books that I did not want to put down.
This is a book that is set in the Nephite times surrounding Captain Moroni and the story of the problems in Zarahemla.

A could not put down adventure! I just love historical fiction. I admire the work that goes into creating believable characters. Sariah makes the characters come to life in such a passionate way that you can't stop reading. I will absolutely read it again!

Loved this book and I felt like ti came me a more personal view of what Moroni's life as a Father and a leader might have been. Sometimes we forget that they were real people and more than a name on paper. Thank you Sariah for bringing Moroni to life for me.

Again, very clever to set a modern day romance in Book of Mormon times. The characters come alive and it was very enjoyable. One of my favorite LDS authors.
