Through the eyes of Naomi Jordan, the love of her life can do no wrong. Niam is honest, loyal and more understanding than she feels like she deserves. But even the best men make mistakes and sooner or later those mistakes catch up with them. Naomi is doing her best to look beyond what’s staring her in the face, but it gets harder and harder by the day. On top of it all, she can’t seem to shake old habits and get over her own trivial fears.
Niam doesn’t want to step back into his past, but he can’t resist the desire to make things right. He never meant for things to go the way that they did and he would do anything to fix them. But in an effort to fix his past, he stands the chance of ruining his future—a future that he’s worked way too hard to see flourish.
When it’s all said and done, love is supposed to conquer all. But how is that possible…when it hurts so much?

I loved Niam and Naomi love story but boy that opening scene when Naomi sucker punched poor Niam with her fear of failure was the hook!!! Naomi was working my nerves for a minute there but I loved her Sister Gab for giving her the real and not sugar coating nothing. I love Niam he is a Great Man but he had me a little worried at first with his ex and her daughter...smh Oh and I love Caleb he is a trip plus speaks his mind lol I can't wait for his story!!! AC Taylor did a Wonderful job in his second book on with there love story...now on to Book 3 and Happy reading everyone!!!
This is a relationship series that I can relate to. Real characters with real life issues. I am looking forward to keeping up with Niam and Naomi as they journey through life being a married couple.
Love Me Series Love Me When It Counts Love When It Hurts Love Me Or Lose Me
Naomi convinced herself that she did not need love. Sex with no strings attached was just fine with her. With Niam she tried so hard to live by her motto but her heart, just wouldn't not her be. Not because she didn't want to love him, she was afraid of opening herself to him, thinking she could never be his type. Niam was attracted to the one woman man, while Naomi didn't believe in relationships at all. You can deny things all you want, but 9 times out of 10, the heart always wins, or does it? When someone pops up from Niam past, can Naomi hold on to the trust she built in him? Is Niam doing too much when it comes to Guinn and Nola? How much can Naomi take, can she put up with before she just gives up on everything? Caleb, one who not down for the love department. Just let him hit and he's just fine with that. Gabi, she's not looking for the wham, bam, thank you ma'am. If it's not meaningful, you can keep it moving. Gabi has fallen but is torn with developing feelings for a man that once shared something with someone who is dear to her heart. When 2 are looking for something totally different, is it possible to create a perfect love that no one could see coming?
I really love this title for this series, she hit on the nail! 4*
Naomi and Niam were supposed to be together. No questions about that. The opening scene with Naomi sucker punching poor Niam with her fear of failure was the hook. Naomi's fears were evident yet Niam bore some of the blame with his actions in the story. Caleb and Gabi will definitely give us something to think about for the next story. Guinn and her little turd daughter Nola had me spitting nails most of the story. I guess every story needs a villain and the little girl was mine. Niam was so naïve about Naomi's acceptance of the woman he was once in love with. I wanted to punch him in the throat. And Naomi should get a crown for being a queen and not strangling Guinn and Nola. Terrence just needed a butt whipping for his trifling behavior. Overall the story was concise, flowed well , and the characters were well developed. A good followup to the last book. Bravo Ms. Taylor!
I love how Niam and Naomi face real life relationship problems and also how to overcome them. Reading about them is such a breath off fresh air because their relationship is so relatable to every day couples. So much was revealed but in the end everything came full circle with everyone. Of course that Janet is still in causing problems everywhere she goes but Naomi handled it so much better showing her growth and maturity. I would love to read more about Gabi and Caleb in the future.
This story had me all in my feelings. Naomi boy was she working my nerves. I loved her sister Gab she spoke the truth to her and didn't sugar coat it. Niam was an awesome stand up guy but he had me worried a little bit though with Quinn and Nola. Oh and can't forget Caleb he was a mess. I love to read a good romance story without all that cheating. You did a hell of a job Ac Taylor this is my 2nd read by you and will be reading your other. You got a new fan.
Awesome! I enjoyed reading the culmination of Naomi and Niam's story. A different perspective on relationships and role reversal. It's easy to love someone when it's "peaches and cream" The real test is when the road is rocky. 1-click and see how Naomi and Niam handle it.
AC, you did it hunni. The continuing story of Niam and Naomi was great. I enjoyed it so much. It's good to read something without any cheating or devious things going on. I am ready for Gabi and Caleb book now.
I dislike Naomi with a passion. So imagine my surprise (disgust) that her 'love story' gets a second book. Ugh! She continued to piss me off in this book. She needs to be in therapy. She's not a good person. She's self-centered. Not self-aware or even cares about other people's feelings (she barely cares about the feelings of the people she's fucking). She got her man and her HEA but in my opinion she don't deserve it.
These characters had me STRESSED out. I was anxious the entire time (in a good way) trying to figure out if they could get it together. I'm happy they finally did. Their relationship is definitely a testament to communication and forgiveness.
I don't know how Niam put up with Naomi. She went from one extreme to the other, I guess that's true love for you. Lol I actually love how well Niam handle her personality. Off to see what Book 3 is about!
After reading the first book, I was anxious about starting the second. This book was everything I thought it would be and more. I enjoyed it immensely!
I loved this book so much. You saw so much growth in Naomi. I like just loved everything about this storyline. Hopefully, Caleb and gabi get it together
