THE SERIES WITH OVER 20 MILLION COPIES SOLD
Volume 2 of the EASY series by New York Times Bestselling Author H.M. Ward
I should leave. Disappear before anyone figures out where I am. That was always the plan. Stay invisible. Stay alive. Don’t get attached.

Then Chase happened.

He’s not supposed to matter. This place isn’t supposed to matter. None of it is real—not when I’m hiding behind a fake name, pretending I’m just another girl in the middle of nowhere Texas.

But pretending gets harder every time Chase looks at me.
For the first time in months, I don’t feel like I’m running. I feel almost normal. Almost safe.

Which is exactly when everything goes to hell. And this time, running might not be enough.

Genre: Romantic Suspense

I received this book as an ARC as a loyal HM Ward reader. To ensure I could give this book justice, I re-read Easy before I started the ARC. I wanted the story to be fresh as it had been years since I read the first book. Easy 2 picks up on a slight cliffhanger from Easy. You already like Jos/Bree, but as a reader, you have questions about her: what happened? why did she run? who is she hiding from? I will keep this a spoiler-free review, so I'll say you get a sniff of the backstory, but it's enough to pique your curiosity and keep reading. You're questioning her, rooting for her, and wanting to protect her all at the same time. Although Jos/Bree is the Ferro in this book, Chase holds true to Ward's style and is dashing and more than meets the eye. The end of the book is a FANTASTIC cliffhanger, far better than the ending of Easy. I'm going to be on the edge of my seat waiting for the next installment. I truly hope Ward has plans to keep this story going in the coming months.

Finally, the Ferro family (well, one of them) has returned. After everything Jos went through in Easy 1, watching her find a bit more of herself is one of the most wonderful parts of this story. Easy 2 is a breath of fresh air in the tumultuous storm that is the Ferro clan. “Watching” someone be who they want to be in a world where that can seemingly never be possible is beautiful. Jos’ true spirit and soul shine bright throughout this book, making her journey one you cannot help but become invested in. In true HM Ward fashion, we are left on the edge of our seats begging for just one more page. Yet another amazing addition to the Ferro universe!

Received the book as an ARC from the author. I wanted a chance to reread Easy 1 to refresh my memory, but I didn't have time. However as I began reading the book, everything came flying back. I am glad that this series is moving forward again. If you read and loved Easy 1, you will love Easy 2. Again we are left with a cliffhanger, but I can't wait until the next book. Good job Holly.

Ferro Love! Jos/Bre has a secret, but so does Chase. Jos knows this but still puts herself in his hands. The story moves a little slow but knowing the back story of the Ferro's, you know it won't stay that way, it just doesn't happen like you expect. I've read the entire Arrangement stories, and all the "spinoffs" so I had that niggle telling me oh no, I was right. I hope the next installment answers the questions.

I received an advance review copy of Easy 2. HMWard is back! I cannot wait for more. The excitement of Bree/Jos and Chase's story is just starting. I love/hate these quick reads and cliffhangers. I'm ready for Easy 3! (OH, and the Ferros bonus at the end....chef's kiss) Keep them coming!

It Was A Good Short Story.

But I felt like it was missing something of the old stories. I had slot of problems getting into the characters of this story. Sorry.!
