Wow!!!
Another Amazing book!! I'm having mixed feelings about some of the characters and I'm not liking some of the things that's going on but I'm so in love with this series that I can't help but be glued reading it. I'm getting upset that I'm not reading fast enough to find out the whole story. I'm so engrossed with the storyline and the characters that it feels like I'm in the book as a silent observer or inside one of the characters like an out of body experience. We see a few characters that we haven't seen in a while since the book does skip ahead a few years but it was a smooth transition of the flow of the book. It felt normal, like that's how it belongs. We find out a few new things with some of the characters and maybe the beginnings or rekindling of some. I'm still unsure which way I'm leaning towards as it's so difficult. Ok that's enough cuz I need to read the next in this series!! Go read it now!!

Excitingly filled with twists
The ever-continuing series of vampires and "almost-humans" continues to expand and add more excitement on this vampiric journey. Cain is dealing with a loss, and must keep going, and the story adds more characters. The stories are broken up in novellas, but I see it as an on-going saga, especially since Nowak brings more stories to light (or dark). More stories to read, but each one is well written, deeply vampiric and paranormal, with twists of humanity and challenges.

Determining Desires
This book is full of surprises. Felicity has one last visit with Cain before continuing her human life. Allie finds out she has several new amazing powers and is testing them out. Sindy returns to Cains property and is severely wounded by members of the Crimson Coven. Complex relationships continue to make this a fascinating read!

This is the fifth novella in the second series of the Almost Human Novellas by author Melanie Nowak and although readers don't need to read the first series of Novellas I do feel they would need to read the first novellas in this second series to enjoy it.
Oh this series is getting so good. Time is moving forward and so is the story and it is getting harder and harder to review these without giving away any major spoilers. Let me just say that characters are evolving and not just the vampire ones (Although these growths are probably my favorite). The focus has shifted back a little to more of the original characters and less of the extras and I think I am glad. I did love all the extra people and getting to meet them and I feel that they may pop up again, but the main characters are the ones that I am really connected to now.
Another easy 5 stars from me and I see these are ALL on Kindle Unlimited at the moment so if you have that program I would highly suggest taking advantage of it.

This book just continues this great series!
