A malfunctioning escape vessel, a deserted planet, and an angry warrior…

Sarah’s vacation isn’t turning out like she planned. When a false alarm and a faulty life boat send her plummeting to an empty planet with an alien stranger, she knows the trouble has only just begun. Nyxant is an enigma, silent and commanding. And while he makes her heart pound with heated glances and stolen touches, their differences may prove stronger than the pull between them.

The planet may be devoid of intelligent life, but the sinister jungle beckons. A trek through the trees and vines will be dangerous, but it may be the only chance either Sarah or Nyxant has for survival.

Soon Sarah finds that unforgiving terrain may be the least of her worries. Nyxant is full of secrets. His silence may risk their lives while his touch ignites her soul. She is left with one certainty. The only way to survive is to work together before the planet eats them alive.

A science fiction romance short story.

I love writing about kick butt heroines and the steamy heroes who love them.

This was a quick, easy novella, great for when you need something light and romantic. The story is fairly simple and just as stated in the blurb. No big surprises but some nice dialogue and heated kisses. There is no sex and the ending is HFN rather than a full HEA. I liked how, while she mentions being attracted to him quite a bit, it wasn't completely out of the blue (she'd been crushing on his on the ship) and it didn't have the "damp panty syndrome" of so many of these alien romances (where the women are in instant, mindless, overly-erotic lust). I would have rated the read higher if it had been longer and more developed. I'll check out more by the author.

I have enjoyed the other books I have read by Kate Rudolph, I found her H's strong but respectful, and her h's feisty, independent and just as strong. My number 1 requirements in a good story.
This one just rubbed me the wrong way, I didn't like the H from the beginning and he did not grow on me at all, he just gave me the feeling of a spoiled, selfish, self centered entitled boy-man.

Daughter💃 Of Nobody💔

Sarah💃💋💔 is a nobody young woman from 🌎Earth who wins a space trip! She sees everyone else on board the huge ship is an alien of some species. She is the only human.

She spots a group of huge purple warriors🐺🔪🔫, and is immediately drawn to the tallest one. Later, alarms go off and she heads to an escape pod, per instructions. The beautiful purple warrior🐺🔪🔫 is thrust inside with her and the pod launched.
They land on a gorgeous deserted planet🌍, called Rex. Finally Sarah💃💋💔 learns the warrior's name is Nyxant🐺🍆🌋🔪🔫. They have to help each other after they crash land, and she begins to have feelings💕 for him.
This is a novella, and can be read in about an hour or less. Its a sweet story about falling in love💘 and putting differences aside.

Sarah won a trip in space. During her trip in less than spectacular quarters, for the first time she is seen as exotic, being the only human on board. Someone has captured her attention, but he’s never alone, so she can approach him. Until a catastrophic event occurs. Now she finds herself alone on an uninhabited planet with Nyxant. What better time than now to get to know him?

It's too short to really make a judgement, and it doesn't so much end as just peter out.
Sarah wins a cruise to the stars and is the only human onboard. When she hears an alarm she gets into a lifeboat and is joined by the purple alien she has been lusting after, Nyxant. They are marooned ...
It's just ok, nothing new and nothing exciting enough to write home about.

An interesting short story about a human, Sarah, and an alien, Nyxant, who crashed landed on a hostile planet. He was intentionally sent there to not survive but Sarah was misdirected there. There was a period of getting to know each other and exploring their good or bad intentions. Bridging the human and alien differences, they came together to find common ground – and more.

I liked it. Even though it's a short story, i would've liked a little more information. It's a good story. I've read stories like it before with more detail, but it's fast and easy. There's not any sex and that's a nice change. A bunch o f alien romances these days are basically porn. Enjoy

Good reading a little on the short side but very interesting. I need to move to the next book as I really like reading these type stories. Since purple is my favorite color I can appreciate and just imagine what he looks like. Highly recommend reading.

Although it is a short story, not much to the story. Human and Alien meet, crash on a deserted planet, human goes traipsing through the jungle to find help, alien saves human then they fall for each other.

Winning more than a vacation

Wow. How exciting to win a vacation traveling among the stars! But more so is the adventure after crash landing with a handsome alien.

It was a great short story but I felt that there was so much more that could have extended the story to make it great.

Quick read with no serious development...maybe a lunch read that gives you the fuzzies to remind you that sometimes all you need is a connection to survive.

With large plot holes and jumps in the narrative, this short story needs a lot of revisions; but the underlying premise has merit and I think with some work this could be a pretty cool story.

My idea of a perfect first date. Space. Forced Proximity. Stranded on a tropic island. Gorgeous alien. A future together. This book is a great way to spend an hour. Instant interest on both sides.
