I can always count on Elle Boon to give us a fun, interesting story filled with a little intrigue and a whole lot of hot men. From Seals to Wolves, she has a way with giving us a really steamy and erotic story and mixes with just enough angst to make it a wonderful read.

Jaqui was introduced to us towards the end of Delta Salvation. You knew that she was a firecracker and that her past with Tay was a real sore spot. Unfortunately, she can’t stop thinking about him, even when her life is on the line. Finding a way out of the hell-hole she found herself in is first priority, figuring out how she got made is her second priority. Tay should be her last priority but she can’t help but wonder why him and the rest of her Seal Team haven’t coming looking for her.

Tay is beside himself when he finds out that Jaqui was kidnapped by Medellin and the Bloque Cartel. On a mission that should have been his, he can’t help but think that he’ll never see the love of his life again. He was an ass for walking away from her in the past and now he has to deal with the possibility of her being gone forever.

Once she’s found alive, Tay swears to protect her for as long as she will have him. If that means being super-glued to his hip, then that is where she will be. It’s time for him to face the fact that he’s in love with his Sunshine and she needs to understand that there is nothing he would not do to protect what is his. At the same time, Jaqui has to find it in her heart to forgive Tay for walking out on her. How could she not forgive the one man that has held her heart forever, has shown that he knew what he did was wrong and cannot stop telling her just what she means to him. Faced with her family being threatened and her life still being in danger, she can only depend on one man to stand by her side and fight with her … Taylor Rouland.

This story had both the sweet and the sour in it. Sweet was definitely Tay … he had more sweet and romantic words come out of his mouth that I sometimes forgot that he was a Navy Seal. The sour was definitely Medellin. You waited to see just how this was going to play out and Elle didn’t disappoint me in any way. Surprised with the ending, but positively satisfied. She brought back Kai, Davis, Oz, Sully and Coyle and has me looking forward to just what she is going to do with Nettie.

Review:
4.5 Stars for the SEALS

This book was amazing!! Elle Boon sure knows how to write!!! I loved that this book had a complete ending. There wasn't anything left open. Jaqui and Taylor are an amazing couple that have been thru so many challenges in life. Just the profession they have chosen puts them in the middle of danger.

Jaqui is captured by the drug cartel in Columbia. She was on a mission with the Seals team filling in for one of the guys that was injured. She was held and tortured for intel. Jaqui was able to escape and send a signal to her location.

Taylor is so upset when he finds out that Jauqi has not only been sent in his place to Columbia, but has also been captured. He will stop at nothing to find her. Taylor knows that he messed up years ago with Jaqui but has now figured out what his heart has been telling him. She is it for him. Now he just needs to figure out a way to prove it.

Jaqui and Taylor have so many hurdles thrown at them but this is just what makes you love them. What more can you say about a book loaded with HOT SEALS.

Let me start with Elle Boon you know how to make love dangerous but fully worth the experience. Yes I was given this freakin fantastic book in exchange for an honest review and boy was it a roller coaster...p.s I would definitely be first in line if the prize was Tay. Ok let me give you a window into my mind.
The story is not about how sexy and super irresistible Taylor or Tay is but of how he and Jacqui met, fell apart and her kidnapping and rescue came about, and also how Tay finally took what was his. While recovering from injuries from his past mission she took his spot in the technical side because she wanted to help but somehow the mission got burned. He was already staying away from her but her being taken brought in the big picture. Yes he made mistakes but it took her being in danger for him to realize that she was for him. He knew she was great in fact he thought her way above him but it's good she knew he was a great catch. Injured or not he was coming to Columbia to get his girl and once he got her safe and sound he was claiming her.
Jacqui is one strong beautiful lady. She gave her VCard to Tay because she saw in him her other half. She woke up to him being gone and then him avoiding her but hey life goes on. She hears of the Delta team needing help with the technical problems and offers herself. In the process of things she gets kidnapped, beaten and drugged but she comes out on top. Things were funky and fishy stuff was going on. It's good that she knew the Delta Recon team were on her side and would come through. She kept hopeful that Tay would get her out of the hell she was in and he did... What was the mission? Was there a leak? Is she willing to forgive and forget the past hurts? Is Tay willing to accept her love? Read and find out...
This book contains heart-stopping, fast paced action-packed suspense, plus irresistible SEALs from Delta Recon that have more passion and skills that should be illegal! So awesome...

Our favourite SEAL team is back and more bad@@@ than ever!!!!

Jaqui and Tay had a bit of an intense encounter over a year ago. Tay couldn't wrap his head around his feelings and fled like the hounds of Hell were after him! Fast forward and after being sidelined from a mission due to injury Tay learns that Jaqui went in his place. But she has been abducted and he will move heaven and earth to get her back.

Jaqui may be small and blonde bu she is an absolute dynamo! She essentially saves herself from her sadistic cartel captor and is later picked up by Tay and the team. Now reunited Tay is determined to never let her go again. As they spend time together during Jaqui's recovery and subsequent protective custody, they realise they belong together. right. That he will be her rock as she heals. That he will do everything in his power to earn her forgiveness and her heart.

But when Medellin goes after her family, Jaqui and Tay have to save themselves and her family from the cartels clutches. But will they managed to fight them off or will there be further tragedy?

OMG Jaqui is a spitfire! I'd love to be her friend, no one would ever mess with me again! Tay is just a big teddy bear wrapped up in a gruff, tough exterior. He may not be good with the touch feely emotional speeches but when he puts his mind to it - he'll make your heart melt! No spoilers but can I just say Jaqui cousins almost steal the show? They are hilarious. But to me the line that made me laugh the most (I almost fell off the sofa I swear) was "hotter than two squirrels humping in a wool sock in the desert". We have some colourful sayings in Scotland but this was tremndous!!!

Fabulous read and can't wait for more!

I was given an ARC in return for an honest review.

Jaqui is a navy officer who sent on what should have been a routine assignment. But nothing ever goes as planned. When Jaqui is kidnapped by a sadistic psycho the seals jump into action. Especially one certain seal named Tay. Tay is a man on a mission. He hurt Jaqui along time ago but now as she's being held captive and going through only god knows what he swears to himself he will make it right. That he will be her rock as she heals. That he will do everything in his power to earn her forgiveness and her heart. After being rescued Jacui is confused by the way Tay is treating her the only man she ever loved that had hut her more than she can describe. Dare she hope that it's real. Or is he just feeling sorry for what she's been through. With the madman still after her she will just have to wait and see. When shite hits the fan and not only her but her family in danger can she count on Tay to truly stay by her side as an equal or will he demand that she play the paet of a damsel in distress. Can Tay convince Jaqui that his intentions are true? When secrets surface can these two stay strong for each other? Can they find love amongst the chaos? Can he keep her alive long enough to confess his feelings for her? I freaking absolutely love this series. I love these characters strong woman with their fierce seals. I highly recommend this series its so worth the read. Loved It.

I have read this author in two different genres and delight in both. I am a sucker though for a great big luscious Seal out there doing what he does best. In this one though you find it is not a him that opens this one up but a her who has just as much staying power as one. This author wastes no time in pulling on your emotional meter string getting you all worked up with what is going on here with Jaqui hanging on by a thread but hanging on. That picks my interest right away too because it does not start out as your average mission op novel can. Things begin to happen fast for her with it all coming to a screeching halt then in comes the guys and what they are doing. Taylor or Tay as he will be called most of the time has many regrets especially on how things were left last time he seen her. When he found out she had taken his spot then things went wacky it does seem he moves quickly so quickly. Things just get more exciting but also she will not leave out any heat in this novel. He will be one lucky man because he will be one of the lucky few who do not have to really work it I think. The pace in this novel just keeps going at a even keel it seems but with all the ingredients of a exceptional romance filled with emotional triggers. By the time you reach the end of this mission you will be hungry for more from this team and series.

I enjoyed the first book in this series and this one did not disappoint. I love a alpha hero and Taylor "Tay" Rouland was definitely a alpha. Jacqui Wallace is the woman Tay walked away from after a weekend of passion unlike he's ever known. Too afraid of his feelings and knowing he hurt her he left things as they were. That is until she's kidnapped in the middle of a seal operation where she should not have been in the first place. Now he needs to find her and make it up to her and never let her go Adrain. If it's not to late.
I love the secondary characters in this book. Jaqui's cousins Nettie and Mo are hilarious and Tay's seal team well let's just say you need to read this book to understand. The epilogue is great, it sets up the next book and I can't wait to read it!

We meet Taylor Rouland, Navy Seal and Jaqui Wallace, Navy computer specialist in this book. There is a kidnapping, hot sex, fast romance and all kinds of excitement happening in this book. Oh, did I mention the hot sex? Yeah, it’s really good. It can be read as a standalone book because there’s no carry over from book 1. Elle Boon has another hit on her hands with this book. It’s Book 2 in the Seal Team Phantom series and they just keep getting better with each book. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I was given a copy for an honest review. This is a great book!

Even badass women like Jacqui have their soft side.

Tay is so sugary sweet on Jaqui that it will give you a toothache and melting into a puddle of goo right beside Jaqui.

Jaqui, Maci, Laci, Nettie and Mo. I found myself laughing and saying that like innie meanie minie and Mo. Silly I know, but I found it funny.

This is a really touching love story that had me wanting more. Teasing us with Roq and Axl was mean. I want to know more!!!!

Love you Elle to the moon and back!

This was a fast paced book with plenty of romance. There was a lot of humor thrown in to boot. I loved the snarky side character too. You're not going to find combat boots, deployed troops, or guns blazing .... well, maybe a few guns and bad guys. This story is more of a romance with a touch of military.

This is the 2nd book in the series.

The heroine is a person who is military trained and is in pain for some reason. The person responsible for the pain is our hero. She’s been asked to help out the team while the hero, who’s been hurt on another mission (book 1), recovers.

Our hero is recovering and he hates that because it gives him too much time to think and to remember our heroine. He knew they should have stayed away from each other, but the attraction was too much to resist. Now, she’s in his position on his team, where he should be, while he’s here recovering.

When a mission our heroine is on goes wrong, she doesn’t know if she’ll get out alive but the thoughts of our hero are giving her some hope. Where there’s hope, there’s a way to come up with a plan, which she does which saves her life. Before long the team rescues her and the hero is right there with them even though the overall person of their team hasn’t given his approval for him to join them. However, when he, and part of his team, comes within feet of being killed, they know someone is waiting for them.

The plot and the one time lovers part was interesting and a good way of bonding the characters. The plot was good and simple. I liked the twist regarding the hero and heroine as well as the ending which was unique.

This is the first from this series, I'm curious to see what the next book brings.

This is the second book in the series and they should be read in order. Taylor and Jacqui have a history no one on the team knows about. Jacqui is helping out the team until Taylor is cleared for duty again. Jacqui is kidnapped while on a mission and nothing is going to stop Taylor from going to help to find her. He messed up with her and he is hoping like hell that he will get a chance to fix it and get a second chance with Jacqui. Jacqui isn’t going to go down with a fight. She knows by now that they guys know she is missing and they are looking for her. She just needs to find the right opportunity to strike. The guys will give their lives for her and will do whatever it takes to find her. This book was so great. Elle writes fantastic characters and stories. Jacqui and Taylor are no different. Taylor knew the minute he ran that he messed up but he was scared. Scared of how Jacqui made him feel. She deserves better than him but if he is given a second chance with her he will take it and give her everything he can. Jacqui was a 26-year-old virgin who finally got the courage to go after what she wanted. She puts on a brave face but she was hurt when Taylor ran. Now she wonders what it would be like if he hadn’t run or if she got to see him again. I am totally sucked into this series and can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Delta Recon SEAL Team Phantom Series, Book 2
by Elle Boon
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I never knew how much I could enjoy military romance genre. But I started to read Elle Boon and I fell in love. There is so much to say about Delta Recon . This isn’t just a romance novel. It’s suspenseful, mysterious, here and there it’s kind of cheeky - Jacqui says the funniest things when the mood strikes… Taylor is totally sexy and to die for. It’s dark and deep with a touch of warmth and butterflies. Taylor and Jacq who are both stong, likable characters. I absolutely freaking adored this book. The best part - it can be read as a standalone but it's a part of a series. He spent a lot of time trying to forget Jacque but when he is wounded on a mission, his team turns to the one person he tried to forget Jacqui. Now normally I’d probably complain and say I wanted more but in this case it isn’t so. I am entirely content with the way in which everything turned out. There is not a single word I would have liked to see added.

ColOmbia NOT! Columbia check your spelling!!!!

I believe an author gets to at least check how to write CORRECTLY the name of the country that their are basing their story on,even if they're trashing the reputation of it.
As a fellow Colombian I'm deeply offended that my county's name is so badly used, Columbia is a is USA district where a very popular university is located, Colombia instead is a country, a beautiful at that, located in south America.
Please amend your spelling and fire your editor its a shame you don't check something as basic as how to spell correctly the name of the country you're trashing on your book.

3.7 stars! Similar like the previous and 1st book of the series it was an enjoyable fast read but for me the heroine have forgiven the hero way too fast after he left her alone not only after their first time together but after her giving him her v-card then he was avoiding her for over a year and started to caring when she was kidnapped... I get it when bad things happen then our eyes open but it was just too fast he should work more for her forgiveness plus then it was too sugary lovely lovely but still easy nice read just wish there was bit more I really would love book about Oz but don't think he has his book yet?

Delta Recon...

SEAL Team Phantom Series book 2. This Tay and Jacqui story. You gotta love this team of badass. These two get a second chance at love. But this road is full of drama and crazy action. Jacqui is kidnapped and tortured. She escapes and faces off with a jaguar cause she is bad ass. Tay and the Phantom Team comes to rescue her. They get a second chance as the bad guys are hot to get her back. As they fall in love the gotta get through the business of their past, protect her family and each other. A really great read full of angst, drama, action, good dialogue, and tingle worthy sexy scenes. Onto the next book.

Delta Recon is an action paced suspenseful book and I loved it.

The book follows the characters Taylor and Jaqui. These two teammates had a wild weekend a year ago and then split. At the start of this book, Jaqui is kidnapped and it is up the Taylor and his team to find her. Once he does, he makes a promise to himself to make up for the mistakes that he has made.

Throughout all of this, Jaqui has the cartel after her and unintentionally her family. Like I stated above, the book was very suspenseful and kept you on the edge of your seat.

This was a great book by a talented author.

Delta Recon

Well, what a horrific start to this story. Jacqui being held captive was definitely a jaw dropper. I felt bad for her but had a feeling she would make it out alive. Tay was definitely going to get his woman and prove to her what a fool he was. Throughout the book you are just waiting for something to happen to Jacqui. I am happy that Jacqui and Tay were able to get the bad guy and save her family. It was a surprise to actually see a wedding happen at the end of the story. So happy that these two found their happily ever after and got married. Great job Elle! I would recommend this book.

Taylor and Jaqui met and dated for a couple months after which he left without a word. Fast forward around 18 months and Jaqui has been taken without a trace while Tay was on medical leave from his SEAL team. He realizes what an idiot he was and he vows to win her back if only they find her safe. I did enjoy this book, but there were a couple of times where things were hard to follow. One example was sometimes a person would be there and the next time the group was around they were gone with no explanation, only to reappear several chapters down the line. Overall a good read though.

Who is the mole?

While this installment focused on Jaqui and Tay, I enjoy how the author always includes the entire Phantom team as essential elements. This story, like the last one, included an international threat to a female associated with the team. Kidnapped during a mission the team had to go rescue Jaqui and then protect her from a dangerous drug cartel. The one thing this series continues to do is puzzle me as to who the mole is.

Both are Navy Seals and Jaqui is is abducted Taylor and the rest of their seal team look to save Jaqui . There is still a mutual attraction between the two and they try and save all of their lives . There's been a major issue that was plotted against her 4 no reason but after shit went down she was left 2 fend 4 herself but when the 1 man she loves but is pissed at comes 2 save her what will happen 2 others as a casualty of war or just cause a psycho can't get his shit straight and trying 2 blame her but he will get a big surprise when he least expects it. With that ending there needs 2 b a book about what happened instead of leaving u hanging.

To be clear, the reason for my rating is that there is little to no suspense in this book. This book is pure romance overall, a paragraph here or there so they can call it suspense or mystery. The only “military” aspect is the leads lover. On that note, the fact that she continued to refer to them as “soldiers” kept grinding at me.

Oh my days!! Another wild ride from the SEALS, and Tay is about to have his arse handed to him by Jacqui! Well until she gets herself kidnapped whilst on a mission!!
He and his team will move heaven and earth to find her and he will not stop until he makes her his.
The twists and turns again, had my head in a spin but I could not put it down!!!

This Is a great alpha male, alpha female book. Both are strong characters with flaws but work together to make it right. It is a standalone read, but has a running plot that isn't solved yet. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
