What do you do when you can’t resist what you know you should?
The guns, violence, half-dressed women, drinking and rowdy parties… the MC was trouble with a capital T. And Josie wanted nothing to do with it.
Josie made the choice to leave her awful ex-husband in the dust to start picking up the pieces of her shattered life, but now she’s walking right into the lion’s den. She’s forced to move in with her parents until she’s back on her feet… the only problem is her dad is the president of the Brother’s Rebellion MC.
When Josie’s ex ambushes her, there is one person there to save her. The MC’s vice president who is completely off limits. He’s tough as nails and sexy as hell and her dad would never allow it.
Everything around them starts spiraling further out of control and they keep getting pulled together no matter how hard they try to resist. Will she be able to keep her distance from the hot VP or will she give in to her needs and risk the consequences?
If you like hot, thrilling novels filled with action and romance, you’ll love this book! Brother’s Rebellion is a stand-alone novel with a HEA and no cliff-hangers.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and voluntarily gave my review. I had a hard time getting through this book. I really wanted to like it, as MC stories are among some of my favorite genres, but this just wasn’t up to par. The beginning was way too drawn out and repetitive. It also needed Stones’ POV to make the plot line more effective. Was not Piper Phoenixes best, but hopefully her next book will be better.
The author tried to build up a story, but somehow it fail me. There are too much side story and things that going in around both character, that seem insignificant and unnecessarry. The story is quite dragging and at some point, i remembered thinking ,"what's the author want to say exactly?". The sexy part also not smutty enough. Well, not for me at least.
Ok this is my second book and I have to say there were a lot of mistakes with the wording. The characters were great but it was always from the woman's point of view. We never hear from the men. I wasn't really excited with it.
I thought the story was good but could have been a lot better if it had been edited better. Lots of miss spelling & mistakes. This is the reason I am only giving 4 stars x
Josie moved away from her home and family. Her dad is the MC President and she wanted as far away from the club as possible. When her abusive husband finally forces her hand she moves back home but still wants nothing to do with the club. Until she sets eyes on Stone. There is instant attraction on both sides but she is off limits. The pull they have for each other is electric. Rivals come into the mix and a kidnap happens. Can they pull through.
This is a good book, enough drama and interesting characters to keep you entertained throughout. Her ex is a piece of work, in the worst way possible. It is good that the MC has her back and will help her even when she doesn't think she needs them.
This is a good book. It has drama and sex and a page turner. I just wish we got to see inside of the clubhouse life. Also her ex seemed like a wuss and nothing to be concerned about at all. What did he really do to her, we had no info on that.
Unfortunately this was one do the worst written stories and the editing was pretty bad. Spelling mistakes and multiple time where the words were written twice or back to front just took away from the story.
I found the story a little rushed and that hero and heroine didn't really connect. But it was good story line. I can't wait to see what Piper comes up with next
