Not all Vampires are good. Not all Werewolves are bad. And not all Teenage Girls awake on their Eighteenth Birthday to find that they are the last in a long line of Vampire Killers. The last of a group known as The Olympus Foundation. The last of the Shadowhunters! Emily Hawk didn’t ask to become a Superhero. She was quite content to live out her life in the backwaters of Alaska with her foster parents. It was boring, but it was safe. Predictable. Nevertheless - here she was, in another country. Surrounded by Vampires and Werewolves. And the worst part of it was…she was pretty sure that she was in love with one of them! If you’re looking for a ‘Kick-Ass’ heroine who speaks her mind and doesn’t take any…well…trouble from anyone – then look no further. Emily Hawk is your girl.
An epic Vampire, shapeshifter, werewolves, coming of age, romance. Funny, violent and romantic this series stretches across time and dimensions from ancient Greece to modern England. From everyday people to the Pantheon of the gods.

Book two I was wondering as I read when they was going to find out about Nathan just my luck (hate cliff hangers) the last page. Poor Emily she can't get a break I kind of like troy as a love match of the bloodborn.not a fan of William he acts to father like.my question is why has it become all wolf packs against the vampires? And not shadowhunters? You would of thought some would show up from other towns? I know there was not many now but there is more then two. The book cover is not correct in this book Emily says the wolves are the size of horses.the cover is the size of dogs. This author does love the dark side for the main character they are always good but really loves in the dark.
Craig Zerf delivers another action packed Emily Shadowhunter novel, an excellent sequel to the first book in this 4 volume series. This book has something for all supernatural creature lovers, evil vampires, vampire hunters, werewolves, shape shifters, magicians and even ancient gods! There’s even a “surprise” supernatural creature that I won’t give away.
Besides all the above, there is also excellent storyline plotting and great character development. And, of course, shocking surprises!
As always with Craig Zerf’s books, do yourself a big favor and read this book. You WILL be glad you did!
Something I abhor. Truly. Either write a book or don't. Even as part of a series, each story should be able to stand on it's own whether you choose to read the others or not. This is an entertaining series of A book, but the cliffhanger style does not make me want to take a chance on any more from this author. It's not good enough that I am willing to wait to find out what happens, it's entirely too forgettable for that.
I love the plot the characters are awesome I just wish you would make the stories Longer what time you get into the store you're almost at the end of the book Them before you know it The whole stories over with You need to make it longer so when you get into it in your head Around for a while
Love the second leg of the series. This is right up there with the other vampire series and books that you might think up quickly. I am really enjoying it and after reading the first book promptly made sure that I had all four books at the ready to finish. 👏 bravo
I thought the first book was great but this one was even better. It was so good that it seemed it was over just after I stayed reading it. I can't wait to read the next one!
Well written, but it seems like the author had too many ideas that he wanted to include. For example, the "trip" Emily takes to the River Styx. It seemed rushed and ackward, but seemed to somehow work out okay. The reader is left with more questions than answers.
I really enjoyed the first book. This one not so much. Gave it a 4 star because overall the book was good but the character Tag was completely useless and annoyed me. Do look forward to reading book 3 but really hope Tag won't be in it.
Another great story I read his other series which sent me on to this, a definite good read especially when you are sick with covid 19 and feel like death and really need an escape from your own current condition.
I enjoyed this 2nd book in the series. Yes there is a cliffhanger, but since I have the next book in the series, that part didn't bother me. The twists and turns keep on coming :)
This one ended with a major cliffhanger which I don't like. Because of this I only give it 3 stars. More shadowhunters fighting Vamps with some canine help.
Keeping me guessing. Good story but lacks some explanation of why others in different countries are not sending help when UK chapter is almost wiped out. Still reading to see what happens though.
