My feelings for her are confusing at best. I care, but I don’t. I love watching her pulse beat erratically below the soft flesh of her neck, but I don’t. I love hearing her laughter, but I don’t. Everything she does causes conflict to erupt in my mind.
I was pretty bummed about the child development in the last book because I don't love reading about babies, but this sequel is making me eat those words. Sorry to this fictional baby for being exposed to all of this but its existence is making everything 10x more fucked up so for the sake of my reading experience,
Dimitri's 'creations' were lowkey brilliant but I really have to ask Bonny Capps, are you okay?

Whoa! I knew there would be consequences and I knew that Dmitri's sanity (if you want to say he has any) would unravel even more but damn, this book just took it to another level and the ride became more twisted, dangerous and entangled.
After Sofia's almost escape at the end of book one, Dmitri feels the ultimate betrayal. He will have her pay and have her submission whatever the price. At the same time, just as he has started to make his black creep into her soul, she sees that she is Dmitri's weakness and after a forced marriage, an unexpected baby, Eva - whom she'll do anything in this world to protect, even against Dmitri, Sofia adapts once again, realising that she has to give up some of her light and even morals in order not just for her survival, but for what is most important above all else to her - for her baby's survival.
"I’m already changing, wriggling from the cocoon that I’ve come to know so well. The bitter end is calling my name, though it isn’t a life lost as much as it is a life gained. Trading my pure soul for one that is as tar black as Dimitri’s and giving into a perilous life to please him; the demon who’s clipped my wings."
While she contends with even more craziness around her, there is also deceit, lies and mysteries around every corner that have nothing to do with Dmitri. Her father, who it turned out was not only alive but the head of the rival Bratva in Russia may seem to be one thing, but he is holding his own secrets too. He is no better than Dmitri imo, Dmitri just has the added depth of insanity but even within that insanity, he is caught in the noose of his little mouse, Sofia.

Theirs truly is a high stakes game of cat and mouse and Sofia, while sometimes conflicted by her feelings for Dmitri knows that winning and finding a way out come with the price of her seeming transformation and finding a way to hold some control over Dmitri.

This book in the series just went all the way to Cuckoo land and Sofia's hands are no longer free of blood. Everything is on a roller coaster ride to see who will win and why the ever loving fuck she even ended up in Russia.
The book ends on another cliffhanger and the demise of one of the characters but it is what that character reveals literally on the final page before their death that leaves Sofia reeling. Who truly is the one who has crossed her most? Who truly is the most evil? Only the third book can give the answers and the final reveal for who is playing who.
A complete rollercoaster of depraved lust, deceit, secrets, stakes that could cost you your life and a countdown to the final winner.

4.5 Stars!
This was like rolling around in fields of deranged, basking in depravity, and drinking up insanity. OMG! A dark, emotional ride from start to finish.
This is the second book, make sure you read Snuff first. I have to admit, I was scared for Sofia. I was a bit terrified to be honest. Dimitri has her in his clutches, what will he do to enact revenge. A deadly game of obsession; where you must become a monster in order to win.
"He’s the demon that keeps my nightmare alive while I’m grasping for straws trying to survive him."
The growth and self preservation in Sofia is fierce. I absolutely love her as a character and all the more with this book. But with each sacrifice, she loses more of her soul. My heart broke. I was grinding my teeth, I was begging for a chance for freedom. By the end, I wanted her to be as lethal as her cage-master. I wanted revenge. As twisted as it is, I wanted her to become what she is fighting against. This isn't Stockholm Syndrome. It's the devil's charm and I felt it all. I was enraged, but there's this spark of need for Dimitri. I can't help it, I love the bad men. Dimitri is fucked beyond belief. I'm waiting for that little shard of empathy, but I'm afraid it's not gonna show, there's no light in his dark soul. I don't think redemption will come. (I can always dream.)

Secrets, lies, and, dark agendas are coming to the surface and I'm loving every single bit. Can Sofia win without losing her soul? I don't know how many books will be in this series, because this tale is far from over, but I can say with all certainty I'm addicted and cannot wait for more.

At the start of this book, Capps warns/promises the following: "WARNING: This book is not just dark - it’s horrific, depraved and disturbing. If you do not enjoy books containing blood, guts, taboo and more – this book is not for you." Many authors claim to write, "dark erotica" then disappoint us readers. Not Bonny Capps. As she has consistently done in the past, Capps again delivered pitch black material in SNUFFED, keeping her promise to use dark lovers! In this second installment, life with Sofia, baby Eve and Dimitri is as sick and twisted as ever. I was glued to each page just as I had been while reading the first book. I can't wait to find out how this series ends!

Best thing to do is to believe every word of that warning! But if that warning just makes your spine tingle with anticipation, like it did mine, and you love "Dark taboo", and I do mean dark taboo, then run, don't walk, and Get. This. Book.

After reading Snuff, I could hardly wait for this one to come out! I was like a kid at Christmas.. a very dark and depraved Christmas.. when I woke up to this on my Kindle! I devoured it in one sitting. Couldn't put it down, couldn't look away, no matter how much my mind screamed that I should.
We are two beings seemingly attempting to fit into a mold in which we do not belong. His being normalcy and mine being the deadly world that I have no business being a part of.

Snuffed: Part One picks up where Snuff leaves off with Sofia and baby Eve right back "home" with Dimitri. Sofia has been there done that, so she knows what to expect when she sees Dimitri, but she also knows that this time is going to be much, much worse.
I can't go into too much detail in this review, as I don't want to spoil even a second of this book. But as a lover of Dark Taboo, this one ranks right up there at the very tip top in "fucked-uped-ness"! Can't wait to read the next book, due out this fall, and it can't come a second too soon!
I am to never question or deny him. I am to dress as he wants me to dress, eat how he wants me to eat, say what he wants me to say, seduce who he wants me to seduce, torment who he wants me to torment ... and kill who he wants me to kill.

This series is blowing my mind!! I love it. It's mindfuckery, coupled with vileness and depravity, at its best. Do they love each other? Do they not? Will one kill the other? Find out!
He is a monster, and I am no different. Our demons do not play nicely; they quarrel. They kick and scream and claw—it will never change anything.
Dimitri shows more of his evil colours in this book and the transformation that Sofia is going through is a thing of beauty. Saying that makes me twisted but really, it is morbidly fascinating to see how her mind is warping.

I'm one of the lucky ones who got to beta read this book... and let me tell you I'm so honored!! This book is a continuation of Snuff, and it picks up where that book left off. Bonny Capps is an absolute genius, and I'm in love with everything she puts out!! This book is grisly, dark, twisted and just as messed up as book one... maybe just a little more.
My heart is constantly conflicted with who to trust... Vadim or Dimitri... and while I want to HATE Dimitri, ugh I find myself lusting after the demon. He's everything you should loathe in a man, but I just love a depraved man!!! Not sure what that says about me... haha.

If you have a weak heart, and can't take gore with your sex, then this isn't the book for you... but trust me when I say you are missing out!!! This book/series has got to be one of my favorites to date!!! Seriously Bonny you are a fucking genius!!!

4.5 "What in the world did I just read" stars! Snuff is definitely child's play compared to Snuffed!
Snuffed resumes after Dimitri retrieves his property, his wife, Sofia. Sofia is in for a world of hurt after an unsuccessful escape attempt. Once you're in the Mafia, it's for life. The only way out is death. Dimitri found her and she knows she has a one way ticket to hell wearing gasoline undies....
Snuffed is an extremely dark read. Sofia is pushed to her limits physically, mentally, and emotionally. Throughout the story her sanity is called into question. But who can blame her? She has to endure the unthinkable to protect her daughter. She has definitely crossed over in a few scenes. Not sure if she ever made it back. She seems to be two different people....
Dimitri is one sadistic dude. His madness, insecurity, and obsession with his "little mouse" reached new heights in Snuffed. You've been warned. This story is not for the faint of heart. Dimitri once again prove he is the Boss and his reign of terror is unparalleled. No one is safe from him or his madness. Buckle up and hold tight. Snuffed is proof Bonny is the "Princess of Darkness".

This book is sick n' twisted, deranged, disturbing and as far as I can see there is NO HEA in sight! All that being said I absolutely LOVED every second of it! Bonny has brought the Russian underworld to life and has drawn me in so far I feel like I can't breath at times. Some scenes literally took my breath away.
So Snuff left off with Dimitri finding and re-capturing Sofia and Eva. Once Dimitri has Sofia back at the Vavilov dacha (house) he promises her punishment will be like nothing she's ever endured before. He is as ruthless and sadistic as ever. His punishments have evolved into something more dark and sinister...if that is even possible!
Sofia is forced to do whatever she needs to in order to ensure her and her daughter's survival. This included giving into Dimitri's dark and twisted fantasies of her being involved in the "family business". In order for her to cope with this she has emotionally checked out and taken on the persona of Dimitri's Red Queen. We just get a small glimpse of the Red Queen, but I can hardly wait to witness her evolution. She intrigues me and I honestly think that she scares Dimitri. I think he fears the monster he's created; a fear of what she could do to him emotionally, as he is so obsessed with her. I think the Red Queen is the key to Dimitri's ultimate demise.

I was lucky enough to Beta read Snuffed: Part 1, and this book deserves 5 stars because Bonny Capps gave us a better inside of how twisted and dark Dimitri can really be. If you think he was bad in the first book oh no we just a taste of how evil he is. I have to say this book is not for everyone, so read the blurb and reviews before you buy this book. What I loved most about this book is the writer went into more details about the characters. For example she gives us a look into Alexei and Alina marriage and why no matter how much Alexei tries he just can't get over what a bit** his wife is. The author makes this book even more interesting by adding two more characters who are going to play a big part in Sofia life. Now you have to read for yourself to see if the role they play in her life is good or bad. I can say this right now Sofia feels blessed for one of them. Shit is just going down in this book, but I feel so bad for Sofia it like she just can't catch a break. She finding out more that she can't trust no man in her life. And the sad thing about it is no matter she wants to believe that there is some good in them. Even Vadim who she thought he changed she comes to find out that he used her and lied to her, for me this book was a emotional roller-coaster I was up and down. By the end of this book I was crying because her husband and her father are both monsters. And what they both are doing to her is so sad. The only thing that is keeping Sofia together is her beautiful daughter, and the hope that they both will finally find peace. What I took away from this book was shit just got real, and I am team Sofia. I hope she walks away from this hell she living with her daughter, and she leaves all the men in her life in Russia and never look back. I just completely loved this book. What can I say I'm a sadist lol. That's why I love my Bonny books because she so gets me. If you love her as much as me then you should check this series out.

I have waited three months for this book and it was well worth the wait.
Dimitri is back with a vengeance and he is out for blood both Sofia's and Vadim's. He is using Eva, his and Sofia's daughter against her, if she doesn't do as he says Eva is punished. Sofia is not allowed to see Eva at all nor is she allowed any type of contact. When she disobeyed Dimitri Eva is not allowed to be held, fed or to have her diaper changed and a tv is brought into Sofia and Dimitri's room so Sofia can watch Eva while she is being punished in this manor. While Dimitri sleeps Sofia sees Konstantin go into Eva's room and change her diaper and feed her. He does this several times over the next twenty four hours.
Konstantin is a heavy weight prize fighter who is friends with Sofia's bother and father and now is undercover working for Dimitri. He is there to keep an eye on Sofia and Eva and help her if and when he can.
Valdim is finally capture with the help of Sofia's brother and is punished for helping Sofia and Eva escape and having sex with Sofia. Valdim is torture and killed.
Sofia learns how depraved Dimitri really is, she also learns how involved her father was in her mothers death and her being with Dimitri.
I really hope that Sofia gets her revenge against Dimitri, her father her brother, Vald and Alina Dimitri's sister. This is a damn good book. I love Sofia, she does what she needs to do to survive and keep her daughter alive. Can not wait for part 2.
Dimitri is back with a vengeance and he is out for blood both Sofia's and Vadim's. He is using Eva, his and Sofia's daughter against her, if she doesn't do as he says Eva is punished. Sofia is not allowed to see Eva at all nor is she allowed any type of contact. When she disobeyed Dimitri Eva is not allowed to be held, fed or to have her diaper changed and a tv is brought into Sofia and Dimitri's room so Sofia can watch Eva while she is being punished in this manor. While Dimitri sleeps Sofia sees Konstantin go into Eva's room and change her diaper and feed her. He does this several times over the next twenty four hours.
Konstantin is a heavy weight prize fighter who is friends with Sofia's bother and father and now is undercover working for Dimitri. He is there to keep an eye on Sofia and Eva and help her if and when he can.
Valdim is finally capture with the help of Sofia's brother and is punished for helping Sofia and Eva escape and having sex with Sofia. Valdim is torture and killed.
Sofia learns how depraved Dimitri really is, she also learns how involved her father was in her mothers death and her being with Dimitri.
I really hope that Sofia gets her revenge against Dimitri, her father her brother, Vald and Alina Dimitri's sister. This is a damn good book. I love Sofia, she does what she needs to do to survive and keep her daughter alive. Can not wait for part 2.

I can't express how good this book is!! Once I started reading, I could not put it down!!! Bonny Capps has written a book that takes her readers through EVERY SINGLE emotion...right along with her characters. You can not help but connect to Dimitri, Sofia, Alexi, Alina, Konstantin, and the rest of the members of the cast.
We get to watch as Sofia begins to morph into a beautiful black butterfly under the influence of Dimitri. She suffers through some things that would break the strongest of men, but some how she is able to adapt and survive...for not only herself, but for her daughter as well. Sofia truly begins her transformation in this book and I cannot wait to see it continue in the continuation of this story!! She is not the same young girl who was kidnapped in Snuff!!!
Secrets are beginning to be revealed in this installment. Those who we thought were good guys are turning out not to be so nice...There were a few scenes that I found myself gasping out loud!!! There were also a few scenes where I threw my kindle. This book will leave you SCREAMING on the last page!! I cannot wait to find out what happens next!!

Okay, this book was beyond disturbing. And I couldn't put it down. I'm not sure what that says about me. Sofia Vavilov - this poor girl goes through so much! But she still stays strong (just by thinking of her baby girl, Eva) the things she had to do (to keep her baby girl safe) Dimitri Vavilov - is one sick frickin sadistic bastard, just saying! This dude is pure evil. He is so obsessed with his Sofia
The ending was so f*cked up and brutal! I have no words... *tears* But damn I didn't know it was a series. I thought this was the last book. I hate cliffhangers! Now I gotta wait for SNUFFED (Book 2 – Part 2)

She did it again! Snuffed does not disappoint! Bonny has created a beautiful monster and I still do not know whether to hate him or to lust after him.. Dimitri's twistedness is absolute. He is as evil as ever in this book and many of his actions are definitely questionable. His mind is warped but he feels that Sofia is the light to his dark soul- she is the one to be able to keep the last pieces of his humanity alive. He'll never let her go and his love is not something to cherished. We don't know how far he'll go.
I'm not gonna go into details but this book deals subjects that one might find inappropriate. Nothing is forbidden in this story. You'll get the horror, macabre and taboo in their full glory. If you can get past these and appreciate the darkness, you're in for a treat! Honestly, I cannot get enough of this series. I can't wait for the next installment to finally get my answers so I'll be over here counting the days..

This is the continuing saga of Sofia and Dimitri.
You will feel for Sofia after being captured by Dimitri she will not be in for a good time, who knows what the sinister Dimitri will do, his evilness know no bounds. He wants Sofia to be compliant and how he will achieve this is the stuff nightmares are made of.
I can't say Dimitri is a fave character of mine can I, that would be wrong right. He's a ghastly human being that I wouldn't even spit on if he was on fire But he draws you in, he captivates you and forces you to at least acknowledge him. So I wouldn't say he's a fave character and as wrong as it feels I actually liked him, trust me I didn't think that will happen.
Vadim for me is the weak link he's such a wet nose.
This story did bring out Sofia strong side, she knew she needed to manipulate her situation so she could be what Dimitri wanted, she knew she had to change tactics to survive. I have a feeling in the next instalment she's going to kick ass.
I must admit my fave scene which I feel is pivotal to this story is the 'scene'
I can't spoil as it needs to be experienced firsthand. You will be turned on, you will think WTF and you will cringe and yeah.
Dark, taboo and depraved, don't say you haven't been warned.

I was fortunate enough to Beta read this fantastic book.
This book in my opinion is definitely a 5 star read I would honestly give it more if I could.
The story is absolutely amazing and pure twisted genius.
If you like your books to be completely dark and gritty Snuffed part one is the book for you to read.
Bonny Capps is an amazing author and she knows exactly how to suck you in to a story and take you on a dark and twisted journey.
You will walk away from reading this saying wow what have I just read.
With lines like "Im going to pluck away your angle wings and replace them with horns" you know your in for a good time.
This book starts where Snuff ended and it's explosive from the very beginning and doesn't stop until the last page.
It will take you on an emotional roller coaster that may have you second guessing your own sanity by the end but it's well worth the journey.
I loved the additional characters as they added more depth to the book and I for one can't wait for Bonny to release Snuffed part two and see what she has in store for them.

5 Russian Stars! Capps delivers once again! I really want to hate Dimitri but I can't hate him fully. Sofia's father, I hate whole heartedly. We're introduced to a newbie in Snuffed. Mr. Konstantin, he's a boxer with big ass muscles & tattoos. He's the friend of Alexei, Sofia's brother. Konstantin has agreed to go undercover and befriend Dimitri in hopes of saving Sofia & Eva. He's a mysterious man that I'm dying to learn of his secrets!
Sofia is tortured & aboard much more this go round & the darkness that surrounds Dimitri becomes contagious. I'm stressing over Sofia's and Eva's safety. I hope like hell Sofia can accept and embrace the evil her fucked up husband has offered her. If not, I don't see how she'll survive! Between the betrayal from her own blood & the abuse from her husband, she's bound to lose herself anytime now!

4.5 Cruel and Insane Stars!!
I enjoyed the first book of this putrid tale and this first sequel in the second part is a bloody runner up.
Sophia is put through the ringer, but has become stronger. She is a survivor, and in order to survive Dmitri, she will have to do and become something she may never had to have done had she stayed in America. She will have to let her darkness in to play with Dmitri’s irrational and psychotic demons.
The level of cruelty that Dmitri shows is beyond fathomable. But let’s face it, that’s what we all love and crave to read. There are a few new players; and a few old players have switched alliances, it is all going to be interesting to see where loyalties fall. I suspect that there will be more depraved acts to come, and I am curious to see if it will be coming from Dimitri or Sophia?

I didn't think it was possible to love a book as much as I loved Snuff, the prequel to Snuffed Part 1. I was absolutely stunned to find that I not only loved this book, but favor it over it's predecessor. Bonny managed to surpass any and all expectations I had for this book, and left me once again on the edge of my seat and hungering for more. I gave Snuffed Part 1 five stars, and it certainly deserved every single one of them. I have to warn future readers though, there are parts of this book that will make your stomach turn and leave you and utter disbelief. I highly recommend this novel to anyone that is a fan of no-shit horror and gore. Way to go once again Bonny Capps. You killed it....so to speak.

One hell of a dark twisted ride !! This book is not for the weak at heart it's for the true lovers of the dark. Sofia's story will break your heart and keep you wanting more. With every page I needed more , this book will garb you and have you wanting more . No matter what Dimitri does I've grown to love him more and more . We find out more about him and what makes him tic . However don't just jump in and start with Snuffed this is a second book you must read Snuff before this to understand everything that is happening in Snuffed book 1

I'm in Awe as I finished part 1 and now I'm impatiently waiting for part 2 because I am dying to see what's to come of Sophia now. The story as become more twisted and I absolutely love it. the writing is amazing and sucks you right in leaving you desperately wanting more. I don't want to post an spoilers but I highly recommend this series for anyone who loves these types of books :) your an amazingly talented writer Bonny, and I only expect more amazing books to come :)

Coming off the momentum of the first book, Snuff. Snuffed: Part One picks up with a familiar foundation of the original but deepens the psychological and emotional layers that make the series compelling to finish.
The themes become darker around the edges and vulnerabilities become even more pronounced here, making the narrative feel way more intense and very dangerous. The direction and dialogue remains extremely sharp and authentic, which is greatly appreciated.
That said, it's a must read for those who enjoyed the original and are eager to see where things go next. Now, onto book three for me. Happy reading

13/14-08-'17: Re-read this book to refresh my memory... because Snuffed Part Two was just released. I must say: I couldn't remember much of both Snuff and Snuffed: Part One.... although I remembered a little more of this book then I did of Snuff.
Initially I gave this book 5 stars... after the re-read I'm more leaning towards 4 stars though. Maybe it's juuust not a 5 star read for me anymore? (It didn't 'hit' me as hard as it did the first time.) Still: a FAN-TAS-TIC story!! Straight on to Snuffed Part Two. 😊 And I sincerely hope there will be NO cliffhanger!

I really liked the first part ,I didn’t liked the character development of Sofia , the things she did was really out of the blue 🤯. Snuffed is an extremely dark read. And I mean it, don't read this if your expecting love, roses, and fluffy Unicorns. Your not going to find it here. This is a extremely dark and twisted tale.
Sofia is pushed to her limits physically, mentally, and emotionally. The only thing even keeping her alive and sane is Eva, her daughter. The story is absolutely amazing and pure twisted genius.
If you like your books to be completely dark and gritty Snuffed part one is the book for you to read.
