Not a standalone

This book is the most erotic of all the books in the series. So grab a fan and a cold beverage. Alex and Milena get it on... and on... and on. And I loved every moment.

description

Alex and his pack continue to figure out how to handle the war with the Salvatellas pack. On top of that, they have to deal with the blood curse haunting Milena.

Prophesies come true, and more issues come up. The immediate problems are resolved, but there are things still lurking in dark. And we just have to wait for the next books to see what's going to happen.

I'm sad that the story about Milena and Alex is over. It would of been nice to see Milena have full control over her new powers as a werelock, but I loved the journey nonetheless. I hope they'll be included in the next books because they have a special place in my heart.

Wow, Hettie Ivers has some serious talent!

Yes, perhaps the plot needed to be tightened up a bit and sometimes the flow of the story seemed a bit 'off', but that didn't stop me from enjoying the heck out of this series. I loved both Alex and Milena . . . and Alcaeus and Remy and Lessa and Kai; there were a ton of great characters in this one.

And the sarcastic humor was off the charts!
"Don't pretend you're not equally annoyed we've had to stomach seeing half of this family fawn and obsess over Maribel and her fucking unicorn pussy for going on two centuries now."
Loved. It!

Received an ARC for review.

I have no words to describe how much I love this trilogy and Hettie Ivers writing. I mean the world, the characters, the plot twists and everything in between really blew my mind. I never expected to be this engrossed in a storyline ever. I am so heartbroken that this story is somewhat over for Alex and Milena!

Milena is such a strong protagonist. I mean from start to finish she was strong when faced with all the craziness that went down in her life. Milena has finally come into her wolf, learning more about her powers and she is finally accepting her feelings for Alex and the reality of her new life. She's so witty, sarcastic and has become stronger -- she is an Alpha. I love Milena so much.

Alex is seriously my kind of perfect guy. All Alpha male, but all sweet and soft on the inside. At the beginning of this story I really thought he was a jackass, but when book 2 came around I feel in love with him. Now with book 3 -- I'm simply obsessed. He's protective, hot, smart, kind, loving, Alpha and just all around talented - the man can cook, sing and do just about amazing things in bed. Alex seriously turned around for the better throughout the series and I'm so happy. I truly love him!

Oh my, the romance was so hot and steamy and just downright nasty (in a good way). The first two chapters threw me for a whirlwind with how sexual things were between Alex and Milena, but it was so perfect and just thing I was hoping for. I loved how they argued about things and kept everything open. The other romances throughout this story truly shocked me when it came to Raul, Lessa, Jussara, Kai and other characters -- just unbelievably amazing!

The Reinoso pack as a whole is absolutely amazing. I love every last one of them -- from the siblings to Kai to the humans and other wolves. They are all amazing. I think my favorite two scenes from them where the Whole Food scene and when the brothers were all talking about sex with various females -- priceless humor. I also LOVED Bethany -- can she be my best friend! I wish she was turned to a werelock!

The Salvatella pack are some damn fools. They truly are more idiotic as each generation is born. I hated them all -- but there was something about Gabe that I sort of liked. Maribel was a total freaking shock to me. I mean, truly surprised me and threw a monkey wrench in everything. All I can say is that her intentions were good, but at the same time she was heartless in how everything went down. I hated her! Raul is a horrible brother and man overall. His desire for power and revenge is crazy. The way he felt about Milena and treated her was insane. I can't believe how far gone he was.

I'm excited to read No Light (book 4) and find out about Alcaeus, his mate and this rouge that comes to light. Will the rouge be Maribel reincarnated?! So excited!!

Oh I just LOVE this series! After I read the second in the series, I didn't even think about if I wanted this one--I automatically went to purchase it! Extremely sexy and it all comes together in this book where you learn so much about these two packs! I love the humorous parts that the author includes in this series. You can bet I am waiting on the next book in the series...

I received an early copy in exchange for an honest review.

After the first two books, I had been dying to get my hands on this. Revenge of the Wronged did not disappoint. The Reinosos and Milena, whom I have grown to know and love so well, come face to face with their nemesis, the Salvatellas, in a huge, tension filled, sexy werelock standoff. I won't toss any spoilers but I loved it. Hettie draws compelling characters, builds the drama nicely and just when you think it can't get any more taut, throws out all the stops to ratchet it up even more tightly, but the finale unloads all the build up in a way I found thrilling and poignant. I laughed out loud during the Whole Foods scene and when Milena makes her "big whoop" joke. The passion, humor, intelligence, and heart shine through in Ivers best story to date.

Beginning: The beginning picks up right where book two ended. It is still in Milena's POV and she and Alex are back at her home. That being said, the first couple of chapters pick up with the explicit content. Afterward, we finally get to meet Milena's best friend who has been mentioned previously, and let me just say this, I absolutely love her!

Characters: Milena is our main female character. She is still our naive girl who is very hesitant. That being said, Milena loses some of her innocence that she has clearly held onto in the previous books. Milena becomes more of a risk-taker in this novel and I must say that I enjoyed this different side of her. She undergoes so much character growth in this novel. Her mate, Alex, also undergoes a lot of character growth. He is still his arrogant and sexy self but he also has moments where he shows us the softer side of him. He makes is abundantly clear that he cares deeply for Milena and will do anything for her. I love Alex so much! Both characters complimented each other nicely in this installment and character wise, this was the best they have been at in this series.

Plot: The plot remained unpredictable like the rest if the series. It had me laughing, it had me tearing up. The biggest plot point, or at least in my opinion the biggest plot point, had me completely surprised and it made me feel so many emotions. I was so concerned for our characters at that point. It really kept me on the edge of my seat because I had no idea if it would go as some of our characters intended it to be. I also thoroughly enjoyed the new characters that were introduced and let me tell you, I totally ship Remy and Milena's best friend. Definitely a satisfying rollercoaster of events!

Romance: Milena and Alex venture into the next step of their relationship right from the beginning. But besides that, we really do get to see how much these two care for each other. Their feelings are powerful and it was great to see Milena finally accept Alex and to see Alex finally show how much he really does care about her.

Ending: I hate saying that this is where the book fell short for me, but I am going to have to say it anyways. The ending was good but maybe not what I expected. There really wasn't a conclusion to Milena's and Alex's story and I wish that it was wrapped up a little better because the next installments of the series will not be focused on them. The ending felt like it was missing something for me. Although they didn't have the ending that I would have liked to see, the epilogue made me excited and anticipating the next book in the series.

Final Thoughts: Revenge of the Wronged was a good third book to the series that remained true to the rest of the books. It was still sexy, snarky, and captivating. I read this book in one sitting, flipping page after page, desperately wanting to know what would happen next. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone looking for a hot paranormal romance. Utterly captivating!

Much praise for this series!

I really loved this series. It's one of my favorite paranormal reads this year. I will say that this last book was my least favorite of the three simply because I lost interest in some parts. It never lasted for long, though. I'd be right back into the story in no time. Either way, I was very impressed with this series, and highly recommend it. I love paranormal romances and this one is hot, and has such a great story! Plus, all of these characters are so awesome and interesting to learn about!

* I received an ARC for a review. * Thank goodness this picked up right where #2 left off. I have been looking forward to this one since the last abruptly ended, so I was thrilled to be honored with an ARC!

This installment kicked off with a quick start to my heart with some serious steam between Alex and Milena. Yowser! While these two are the main H and h, there are so many other substantial characters involved (and some stuff from last book) that I really wasn't sure if these two would pan out. Alex and Milena together make me happy. Which is surprising to myself because I didn't really like Alex that much from previous books. In fact he is kind of an egotistical insensitive jerk most of the time but i guess that goes hand in hand with being Alpha, right? Despite his flaws, I wanted Alex and Milena to be mates (She will shape him up- ha!).

The first two Werelock Evolution books were non-stop action and world building, this one is that and more! So much has happened in such a short amount of time to our girl Milena. She is young. So much responsibility on her shoulders. So much to figure out or humanity as we know it will be wiped out. Yeah, no pressure there for an 18 year old! Milena matures quite a bit and comes into her own with this story. Everyone has been coming at her with advice and their own take on events. She eventually draws her own conclusions and starts planning and preparing for what she knows is coming. She has some wicked awesome skills already, so I am looking forward to reading about her ongoing development, and her journey.

There are many side stories going on within this book. The werelock character's histories and the pack histories are complex (I found myself confused more than once); the political machinations are complicated. You have to read the first two books to understand what is going on in this one. While this book is a conclusion of sorts, this story is far from over. The epilogue lays some groundwork for what may be coming in future books. I am already looking forward to more werelocks.

I was given an advance copy for an honest review. Oh where do I start this review. First I want to go on by saying this is the first book that I read from her. I really like this author's writting style and I like the way she has her characters interacting with one another. There are a few characters that I do like for different reasons and such. There are basically a few characters that I do like.
I feel that Bethany is a true best friend and she is willing to listen to Milena talk about her relationships failed or on going relationships. Bethany is like none other friend as she is willing to be honest and up front with Milena when she asked Bethany's thoughts about Alex.
Another Character that I like is Alex, He is an alpha male and is Milena boyfriend and it seems that he is the protector of Milena and he keeps her close to him so no harm will come to her. Alex is an open minded male and that he goes out of his way to make sure that Milena is doing good and that no harm comes to her.
A character that I feel is a bit jealous is that Raul because he is jealous that his sister is finally moving on in her life and that he doesnt want her to be happy. I just do not get him at all, why wouldnt he want his sister to be happy granted maybe that Alex might not have been the right person for Raul sister but that should only be up to Milena to decide if that Alex is the perfect guy for her. And who knows that Milena is the only person that will know for sure if Alex is perfect for her.

Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book in the series is where it's at. The orgasm that you've been waiting to experience, what all the foreplay the previous two books dragged you through was for. This is where Hettie finally fucks you as an author and gives you all she's got and oh was it worth the wait.
Alex and Milena have such a tender sex scene that you think Hettie is going to go easy on you as it's your first time with her, but then on the next thrust she hits you with a fabulous Whole Food scene where she smacks you around with it's hilarity, she draws back out as you try to recover even though there's a scene climax you know is coming, but Hettie doesn't do anything half assed and she's going for multiple orgasms from her readers, so although you think it's over and you think you have some semblance of reprieve, Hettie continues to aggressively thrust new info and surprises at you leaving your mouth open from the orgasmic mind blowing revelations. This is where she takes advantage of your mouth open to finish shooting her load there and allowing an excerpt from book 4 to rain all over you.
Couldn't get enough, this book will leave you both satisfied and itching for more. Hettie is a very generous author. I've since gone back and reread the ARC several times.

Another great installment in the series, a smooth transition from book 2 to 3. Steaming hot from the get go. Alot of focus on plot and pushing the story forward which was great. So many twists! I thought I was gonna fall on my butt trying to figure it out, my poor brain going round in circles. Cleverly written and well tied in with the histories and other mentions throughout the series so far. As for the epilogue whoa! I am now eagerly waiting to see what happens next and I'm hoping the next one comes out soon.

Ps. I hope Raul gets whats coming to him.

Another HAWT and stunning book from Hettie!!! Alex and Milena just don't stop!!!

More mystery surrounds the the pack in this story, unknown danger lurks and so much loss.

After grocery store arguing werelock style the pack is thrown into yet more trouble as an unknown force threatens everything.

I love how everyone finally really comes together to protect and Milena finally accepts who she is.

Oh. WOW

Brilliant just brilliant. So many twists that I did not see coming, as Milena accepted her fate, I felt her character became more rounded and essentially likeable, without the constant push and pull of her wavering resolve (she hated, then she loved Alex) the story came to a great conclusion ( for these character anyway)
I cannot wait to read the next installment

A potential blockbuster. This book exceeded all expectations.

If you were blown away by the first two books then you definitely not want to miss this one.

First, Hettie's language is impeccable as always. It's always a pleasure reading a well-written book free of errors.

Now to the main point. After reading about Milena in the first two books and about Lupe in the Girl for Jussara, this is the part where you get the ultimate climax that you have been dying for.

Hettie brings you on a mother of all roller-coaster ride with good humour, well-developed characters and EVEN HOTTER THAN SUN steamy scenes. Just be sure to control yourself in public when reading this potent concoction. *You have been warned*

I also guarantee that you will see all the characters in a different light after this book. That's how well-developed the characters are. And if you are into Kai, I don't blame you. He's the most intriguing character of all.

Some ask, "Is this book worth the $3.99?"

Are you kidding me? $3.99 is a steal! Whoever said that is not worth it clearly has there head screwed the other way round. This is a good length novel with more than decent writing. We should be thanking our lucky stars that Hettie is not charging us $19.99 for it.

So what are you waiting for? If you have read the first 2, this is just natural progression. If you have not started on this series, I suggest you to do so that. Your life will never be the same again. *in a good way*

Oh ya, remember to prepare a bib or a hanky when you read this the first time. It's tears and drool inducing.

This is book #3 of the Werelock Evolution series and YAY!! It was so good, I couldn't put it down! I was racing to finish it but sad when it ended. Book #3 was definitely the hottest of the three. Despite their differences and their rocky (under statement) past, it's so obvious how Milena and Alex compliment each other. They're like peanut butter and jelly...they just GO TOGETHER! Plus there's so many twists and turns! Again, the secondary characters support the storyline perfectly, they provide even more drama and humor. Not to mention, the various subplots that set us up for more wonderful creations from this world! (Please?!?) I've already added this series to my READ AGAIN e-shelf and can't wait for more werelocks! Entirely told from Milena's POV with a happy for now ending. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

If your a fan if Alex and Milena then this is the book you don’t want to miss. I happen to think Milena is the best. I love how strong and determined she is. She struggles with her love for both her brother and Alex.

Now the good part. If you a romance fanatic like me then you will love the “loving” that goes on in this book. Let’s just say Alex and Milena connects alot more. LOL. In a good way of course. 💜💜😘😘

As far as Milena’s brother. Well don’t worry he will be back soon. 😉. You will just have to keep reading the series!!!

I love these books!!!

Where to start? I’ve followed this story online since its FP days, where I grew to have a love/hate fascination with the characters, storyline and author (sorry Hettie). There were times I wanted the storyline to go on forever, and times I just wanted it resolved and over. With book 3, I feel like I FINALLY got the long awaited climax (no pun intended, but yes, there were several more of those kind, too) that I was hoping for.

The story and characters come full circle in Revenge of the Wronged. In two weeks time, we go from Alex publicly declaring Milena, “Not mine!” in Slip of Fate to Milena ****SPOILERS AHEAD**** barging into the banquet hall in her birthday suit and declaring her love for Alex in front of her brother, the Salvatellas, her BFF Bethany and both rival packs in what ended up being a riotously funny, albeit macabre and poignant Mexican standoff of sorts, culminating in the death of one of the story’s most beloved characters. (While making one of the best jokes of the series at Miley Cyrus’ expense.)

I cried when Lupe died. She went out in badass Lupe fashion in a manner that brought her character full circle as well—particularly for those of us who read Girl from Jussara, the prequel. I was happy and sad for Lupe’s death, because her death brought the closure I think we all wanted for Lupe, even though it was heartbreaking and my heart broke for Alcaeus, especially.

Hettie has a way of marrying great humor with tragedy. This book made me laugh so many times and it made me cry, and at times simultaneously. I was on the edge of my seat through the last chapters, and just when I thought the surprises were over because the curse was fixed, the “bad guy” *woman* was safely out of the picture, and Milena and Alex were set to live HEA, we come to Milena’s reconciliation with her brother, Raul—the entire reason and motivation for her original mission to Brazil.

This is where the book took a turn that surprised me and didn’t provide the wrap-up I had expected, because I did think she and her brother would ultimately reconcile. That she would “save” him from the Salvatellas, as she was so determined to do throughout all 3 books in the series. But when they are alone for the first time (for real and not in another dream scene in Milena’s head with others) the brother that Milena has been hoping to find proves to be everything that everyone else has been saying he is throughout the series and even what Milena says about him in Slip of Fate and Fear the Heart.

Milena doesn’t end up saving her brother, she ends up saving herself, and they go their separate ways, with separate packs (she with the Reinosos and he with the Salvatellas) setting us up in part for the conflict to come in the spinoff books. Milena realizes at the end of book 3 that the relationship she’s seeking to resolve with her brother isn’t real; it’s fiction.

In Milena’s own internal dialogue at the end of Revenge, she says that Maribel’s demise defined her from that moment on, as if that was the turning point for her maturation and a defining moment in her character arc. While I think Milena came into her own and grew by leaps and bounds throughout book 3 compared to books 1 & 2, the defining moment that ushered her into adulthood for me was when she cut her brother loose at the end, more so than when she found her cojones, asserted herself, took out Maribel and took her place as the Alpha female of the Reinoso pack.

After I read book 3, I immediately went back and reread book 1 & 2, looking for all of the breadcrumb clues in the storyline that Hettie was famous for on FP for always leaving for us, and yes, they were there. And I gobbled them up.

There’s so much more I want to say about Maribel’s end and Avery’s intro in the Epilogue, and about Alcaeus and Kai and what will happen between the packs and with the Rogue moving forward, but I'm still reeling from and digesting all that happened in book 3. And I am sure I will be rereading book 3 again, along with 1 & 2 and the prequel, while I wait for book 4's release.

There are book series that grab ahold of your heart, mind, and your very soul when the story is well written from one book to the next. Hettie Ivers is the author of one such series. With her Werelock Evolution Series she brought to life a young woman, Milena Caro, in search of her long lost brother, Raul, following the death of their mother. On her journey she encounters more than one unimaginable obstacle. She also comes face-to-face with some of the most manipulative, humorous, seductive, intelligent, and strong-willed werelocks one could ever imagine. These werelocks become many things to her. At first they are her captures but over time Alex, Alcaeus, Kai, Remy, Alessandra, and even the human, Lupe, become so much more to her. They become friends, help-mates, and Alex, becomes the object of her affections despite how much they butt heads.

In Revenge of the Wronged, Milena’s story continues. She wakes up to find herself in her own bed back in the States with Alex by her side. Alex, the Alpha who has tormented her, threatened her brother’s life, all while falling hopelessly in love with her. Alex, the Alpha werelock who ignited a fire in her soul and body, so many times he has almost proven to be Milena’s undoing because of her incredible desire. It’s in Revenge of the Wronged that Hettie Ivers finally has pity on Milena, and the readers, by allowing her to finally consummate her relationship with Alex. To say that their first physical encounter was a passionate one is an understatement. That encounter, and all subsequent encounters, was hotter than a river of lava from a volcanic eruption!

Revenge of the Wronged isn’t only about the passion and love between Milena and Alex. It’s also about her relationship with her best friend, who we finally meet, and her tenuous relationship with her brother, Raul. Revenge of the Wronged is about the blood curse and how it affects the lives of not only Milena, Alex, Alcaeus and everyone working with or for the Reinoso clan. It is also about how it affects the Salvatella clan led by Gabriel.

Revenge of the Wronged is about righting wrongs. It is about the return of someone long considered only a memory. It is about making the ultimate sacrifice to save the ones you love. Revenge of the Wronged is a story that not only makes you hot under the collar, but it also makes you laugh, cry, and want to throw things. Hettie Ivers fills the last book in her Werelock Evolution series with an abundance of twists and turns that will afford you with the highest highs and the lowest lows. Have I provided spoilers? I tried not to because this is a book to be read and appreciated. It is a book to be savored. It is one book in a remarkable book series that should be read and appreciated many times over. I cannot express enough, how this book will leave you yearning for more of the wonderful characters Hettie Ivers so flawlessly brought to life.

Revenged of the Wronged is steamy and full of adventure. When I said Fear of Heart was the best of the series, it was at that time. Now I have to say Revenged of the Wronged is the best. Which just means that this series gets better and better with every book written. Alex and Milena are so in-love and so very sweet. Of course Alex being the alpha male means there is no boring second in this book. At every turn of the page, something is going on. This book is non stop action and not stop sex. ;) Alex and Milena could not keep their hands off each other, not even when Alex’s brothers are around. When Alex and Milena are together, everyone cease to exist. These two get it on and on and on….as long as they are together it happens sooner or later. They may have not known each other for that long, but in their world they were always meant to be together. As the pack continue to fight their battle, Milena is right there with them. Once Milena and Alex were mated, neither one could stay away for too long.

 photo RevengeoftheWrong-Teaser.jpg

I enjoyed the big changed within Alex. When he first met Milena he was nothing but a jack*ass, now he is caring and thinks before speaking. Before all he did was bark orders, now he is calm and collected. With Milena, Alex is a total different person and I completely fell in love with the man he had become. I cannot wait to read more of these too, because Author Hettie completely made me addicted. Thanks a lot. ;)

Hettie Ivers continues to deliver with part three of the spellbinding Werelock series. In "Revenge of the Wronged (Werelock Evolution Book 3)" we continue protagonist Melina and werelock-lover, Alex's story as they finally defeat (almost all of) Melina's trust issues. Quick mention, this is the first book of the three read that this reader does actually recall seeing a few grammar, spelling or punctuation errors which, if memory serves, seemed to pop up around the midway point of the book. While not glaring enough to toss this reader from Ivers beautifully crafted worl, enough that they did remain in this reader's memory after finishing the tale and starting on the companion novella about Jussara.

Dialogue continues to be strong and believable, true and authentic to the character speaking. Readers see a slightly different form of Melina's continual internal struggles to face lifes injustices and, let's face it, selfishness. Finally, Melina faces some of her internal demons and opens herself to trust and readers can witness a spurt of character growth within her. Our little girl is growing up! Ivers voice remains as warm and compelling as in the first two tales; settings are detailed enough to visualize and feel as if one is a flea on the back of a wolf, watching incidents unfold. Many subplot issues are resolved while another bigger one hangs in the balance - yeah, a bit of a cliff hanger, but if one read these stories simply to follow along Melina and Alex's romance, they can stop reading here if they chose to. Or, wait for the next installment to see how much trouble that one bigger issue will shove at the Reinoso pack - no, the entire world... and how it might cause problems for these werelock's many of us have come to adore. As a tiny spoiler, Melina even has to start facing the fact that she really doesn't know her brother Raul, at all... and he solidified into a real pr*ck in this readers eyes, too! *laughs*

This reader opted to take a short break (*grins* a day!) before delving into the companion novella, and allowing the delicious series to simply gel inside of her for a bit... however, similar to Alex's addiction to Melina, this reader freely admits her own addiction to all of these gorgeous werelocks. Hence, only a days break before starting the next read... and yes, she continues to highly recommend the series and Ivers as a writer - even though the story of the Rogue, as started in the epilogue, didn't grab her as tightly as the previous books did. I'm hooked.

”Yeah, I hear death has a way of changing someone.”

Welcome to book 3 of the Werelock Evolution.
Again, we pick up where book 2 left off. And again, I praise you Hettie.
If the other 2 books were lacking in the hot and steamy sexcapades, book 3 definitely makes up for it.

To read this, you will need to borrow Blanche’s squirt bottle to cool yourself off.

Damn you Hettie, for making my eyes leak something that resembles tears!

LUPE?!?! Really??

This book will bring out your feels. What a myriad of emotions it stirs. One minute you are laughing, the next you are ugly crying.

I guess I just have a screw loose, I seriously laugh-snorted with the “unicorn pussy” comment.

”Don’t pretend you’re not equally annoyed we’ve had to stomach seeing half of this family fawn and obsess over Maribel and her fucking unicorn pussy for going on two centuries now.”

Though, I know this is the end for Alex and Milena, I am looking forward to the other characters stories.

Also, Remy, call me.

Awesome series, Hettie Ivers.

Really freaking awesome!

Ok, I have been struggling lately. I've read some books that took my breath away and left me feeling empty at the end because they were over. Finito. Never to be new again to mine eyes. And I've tried and tried again and again to find another book series that would renew my reading fervor in the same fashion that those books did. And I tell you- the struggle is real. But Hettie Ivers saved me. She brought me back from my reading-love/unhealthy consumption withdrawal status. I am revived! Or I was... But dad-gummit now I've finished the books and the search begins again! *sigh*. But it looks like there's more to the story. Coming soon? I hope?
So, why Hettie is my savior.
So the book is very well written. Hettie has a fluid and broad grasp of language and imagery. Her characters are real and thoughtful and well-defined. They have distinct personalities that build a strong story and keep you engrossed in the story as it evolves. And evolve it does. She's not a story teller. She doesn't regurgitate the same story you've read 800 times with the same exact characters, plots but different names. She's a story builder. I loved that I could not predict where things were going or how it would all culminate in the end. Totally worth the read. Totally worth my return to no-book-read limbo. Thank you, Hettie.
