A collection of essays and writing by Wenders on cinema, his own films and experiences while making them, from his earliest shorts to At The End of The World, translated into Dutch. Published by the Dutch Film Museum or Nederlands Filmmuseum (now known as EYE Filmmuseum), and International Art Film. The first four essays are taken from the 1988 German publication "Die Logik der Bilder: Essays und Gespräche verlag der Autoren, the fifth (on Notebook on Cities and Clothes) from the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung in 1990, the sixth (on At the End of the World) from 1991 publication "Der Akt des Sehens: Texte und Gespräch" and the look article in which Wenders comments on each film in his oeuvre is culled from various sources throughout several decades.
