Read this book until it's concentrated into your bloodstream and absorbed into your bones and you can't help but live it. Concise, deliberate, and exceptionally valuable.

Straight-forwards, insightful, not overwhelmed by personal stories. Good place to start but not the end-all be-all that it advertises itself as.

Helped me build more!

Zoe has done a fine job sharing her "system" of developing one's inner willpower and motivation. She overcame alot in her life and writes well in sharing how she did it and how we can overcome our challenges. It starts with our inner psychology and self-understanding and the author shows us how to keep ourselves positive and growing through all life brings us. None of us, it seems to me, has it "easy" in this rather mad world, and I'm grateful for helpful books like BUILD G.R.I.T. to help us cope and bring more sanity to the state of affairs. Thank you, Ms. McKey.

A nice short compilation of personal philosophy, methods, and way of thinking to get one's way through life.
We almost know it all already, but it's always nice to read it said another way, and even more with some of the author's personal anecdote.
