Masterful Story of Vietnam Veteran's Truth
This true story of what remains for decades after the Vietnam War in the mind, heart and soul of a American Officer. A deep sense of responsibility to have fought to keep the South Vietnamese free, and failed. The story is told by the brother-in-law who travel back to Vietnam with the soldier. The Author is brilliant and endearingly clever in describing the 24 hours of meteoric emotion and travel happenings. Anyone can enjoy this easy read packed with a timeless message. I would love to see this as a movie with all its beauty and pathos.
