September 2019 - the fold-out pages are great, either to prop up next to a newborn so they can enjoy the high-contrast images, or for a more mobile baby to manipulate themselves. Eleanor loves turning pages, so she's enjoying all the ways this can go back and forth. However, counting stories aren't particularly appealing to babies, in my experience, and a lot of the items pictured aren't interesting or recognizable for little ones, so it's more a physical experience than an opportunity to talk about the pictures.
