Every marriage has a moment—it defines the future, it settles doubt. That moment comes for Keira Riley-Hale when her marriage is threatened and she forgets how to find her way back to her husband. Will a brief getaway to the Tennessee mountains bring Keira and Kona to the moment that changes everything in their marriage? Or will that moment never come?
Eden Butler is a writer of contemporary, fantasy, and romantic suspense novels and the nine-times great-granddaughter of an honest-to-God English pirate. This could explain her affinity for rule breaking and rum.
When she's not writing or wondering about her possibly Jack Sparrowesque ancestor, Eden patiently waits for her Hogwarts letter, reads, and spends too much time in her garden perfecting her green thumb while waiting for the next New Orleans Saints Super Bowl win.
She is currently living under teenage rule alongside her husband in southeast Louisiana.
I want more KonaKeira. I'm soo obsessed with these two it's not even funny!
*spoiler!*
This is a short deleted scene about KK's reconciliation after weeks of "space" and misunderstanding caused by a scheming SOB. The said misunderstanding happened in Ransom's Thick and Thin Love book. I gotta admit Keira's behavior in My Always worried me. She was so sorry that I thought she did something unforgivable. Thank god I have the Ohana bundle so I immediately read the misunderstanding parts (Only. Because I'm still too chicken to read Ransom's story >.< ).
Seeing this couple go through everything they did and then for Keira to doubt herself killed me but her husband Kona, he never doubted their love but had to make her see that so going away alone is what he planned and it worked, here is my favorite part of this book
“Once, not so long ago, I thought Keira’s love was like a melody, lyric and rhyme that sometimes rattled me. Now I knew as I kissed my Wildcat, loved her again and again, that we were never a melody. We’d always been a symphony, sometimes loud and discordant, sometimes soft and soulful, but always, always beautiful. And that music would never fade.”
A short, sweet and emotional read. My Always was a deleted scene which is a defining moment for Kona & Keira. Those who have read and survived the Thin Love series will enjoy this sweet story. The memories of their love story will make your heart flutter.
…we are never more vulnerable than when we are naked, because then there is nowhere left to hide.”
Kona & Keira have a connection like no other. Step into the moment with them.
After 13 years of marriage, Keira and Kona try and reconnect after an outside force tries to come between them. I love reading more about Keira and Kona as they work together to keep their love strong, no matter what the problem may be.
