USA Today bestselling author, Jamie Lee Scott, loves killing people, ehem, writing a good mystery. When she’s not writing novels, she’s writing screenplays and making indie films. Her first produced screenplay can be seen on DirecTV’s ShortsHD channel. No One Knows is an “Editor’s Choice” on the channel for short films. Jamie lives on a farm with her husband, two dogs, two cats, and three horses. Aside from writing, Jamie is a competitive barrel racer.
What a great series, and all except the latest audiobooks are available through Hoopla at your library. The books and are short, fast reads, ending that kept you wanting to read the next book in the series. Glad I found this series.
Even though this was a very enjoyable audiobook, I felt that it was dragging a little bit, I think it’s Naomi more because it’s a book in the series, so it was hard for me to connect certain characters. One thing is for sure there is a lot of humor here and the diversity is amazing.
One of my favorite books of the Gotcha Detective Agency series so far, Electile Dysfunction is another sell written, strong and complex mystery from Jamie Lee Scott. The dynamics of the agency have been changing throughout the series and this book reflects one of the biggest changes so far. I like that Nick is showing Mimi more professional respect, and I love their personal relationship. Speaking of relationships, watch for some possibly positive changes for Charles. As good at the mystery is, and it is a good one, it is the relationships that I love best.
Good relationships. I like the way the work out but there is so much build in the story to this great murder being solved and then ....... Bang! The killer simply admits it. Right. Sure. Whatever.
Enjoyed the unusual characters of the professional rodeo circuit. Explained motivation of people from a world I'm totally unfamiliar with. Interesting ending
I have enjoyed reading this book very much. I have read every book in the series. I think the author is a very talented writer. I would recommend it to anyone.
