Crystal Milbrath, owner of the Lords and Ladies hair salon in North Pole is shocked when her ex-husband Kevin announces he's getting married again. Determined to make the most of a weekend without her son, she goes to a bar and gets swept away by a handsome man she assumes is a cruise ship passenger. One perfect, cathartic night, now back to real life. Except she soon finds out Levi is still around, and that he considers their one night stand only the first of many.
Levi Ericson enjoyed every moment he shared with Crystal, though their time was cut short by her son's return. Discovering she has a child doesn't bother him, but the way Crystal couldn't wait to get rid of Levi did. As he's learning to fly the bush plane he intends to purchase, he has no plans to leave any time soon. Despite the tacky Christmas decorations, the town seems like a great place to call home, something he never expected to find. Now he has an even better reason to stay in North Pole.

We’re Happy Tonight: Romance Series set in Alaska (A North Pole BK9) by Noelle Fox
This story starts with a letter to Santa from Billy who is asking for a puppy and helper for his mom Crystal. Crystal is divorced single mom doing her best to raise Billy. Billy’s dad isn’t the best dad around and calls Crystal to tell her he’s going to marry his pregnant girlfriend, Crystal in turn gets upset about this and decides to out for the night where she meets a very handsome guy by the name of Levi, whom she mistakenly assumes is a tourist. Levi has recently come to North Pole Alaska. One thing leads to another and sparks are flying between them, but due to Crystal’s ex-husband she has trust issues and isn’t ready to let Levi in her life yet. Billy in the mean is trying is his best to convince mom to get him a puppy. Kody and Ella run a sled dog place in town and one of their dogs has a litter of puppies one of which named Smoky who is the runt of the litter, Billy falls in love with Smoky, but his mom says No again and Billy decides to go to his dad’s house in Fairbanks without tell his mom. Will Billy get his dog? Will Crystal find Billy on time? Will Levi’s wish come true to be apart of Crystal’s life and will Billy accept him? You will have to read this story to find out what happens to all of them. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys stories set in Alaska and loves romance 🥰

book 9 im on a roll.

The only thing I wish is that it lasted longer. I would like to have learned more about them and I'm sure I will in the next couple of books.
