Nice plot. Different than the usual werewolve stories. Good characters, strong male and female POVs. The young boy is a good addition too.

Really liked this one...
Kit's Finding Fatherhood series are all wonderful reads but this one is a bit unique a way to become a father and it made me like it that much more. Because I have friends who foster children I've come to appreciate even more than I did the good people who take these children, what children in the system often have to deal with AFTER they're placed in 'the system' and how very needed loving homes are needed, especially for the older kids like the one in this story.
I'd definitely recommend reading this book. It's totally a standalone and, if you like a bit of shifter steam and drama, it's a really nice afternoon read to relax with.

If you will be listening to this. Set the speed to 1.5 otherwise the narrator is droning on. Voice much more suited to a kids book

This storyline is fascinating and is very emotional with a lot of depth on how the characters meet. The flow of words is so great and the pace of the story is just right. Kit Tunstall and Kit Fawkes is truly gifted, very talented and creative. This storyline is Magnificent and well written. I enjoyed the storyline so much I couldn't put my tablet down. From the first page to the last I was memorized. The characters are engaging, fabulous and fantastic. The dialogue is passionate, realistic, and you will love the interaction between the main characters, the chemistry is scorching hot and they leap off the page with life that's so real. The scenes are vivid, beautiful and dynamic with lots passion. I knew that this would be a awesome fun read. I love to read a story where two characters who have such intense chemistry. Of course their chemistry will eventually give way to their attraction and love. It was fun to read how they burned for each other. Wow! this book has such love and laughter which something that I definitely wasn't expecting. This story has lots of romance in it and it had me smiling the entire time. Overall, this is another fantastic romance which is definitely interesting. I loved every aspect of the attraction between our two main characters. Kit Tunstal, Kit Fawkes knows how to build the chemistry up to a slow burn and this is one story that you don't want to miss. This is an excellent paranormal romance. even the minor characters come to life for me, making the story that much more enjoyable. If you want to feel like happily ever after is a real thing, this book is for you. Kit Tunstal, Kit Fawkes has a gift for developing innovative, engrossing and believable story lines. They builds awesome fantasy worlds that provides amazing details that flash out and enhance the story as well as making the secondary characters three dimensional.

This is a SPECTACULAR Read! This story will make you smile and give you lots of romance. If you love shifter romance this is definitely a fabulous choice for your TBR list. I am hoping there will be a lot more exciting stories.
If you believe in the world of shifters the possibilities are endless and fascinating.

I received a free copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.......... I really enjoyed this and found it to also be sweet yet gripping. Poor Caleb witnesses the death of his father, and then his foster parents, so he needs to be kept protected. The nurse who helped him, Skye, and the person she hires to help guard him, Brandon, hide out together with Caleb in a cabin by the beach. Skye and Brandon have a short history together so things begin to heat up with those two. The author has an excellent style of writing and I was never bored through this story. I love the way that Skye and Brandon were open with each other about the way they felt with no emotional games. I prefer that because then they can deal with their truths instead of hiding them from each other. It makes it a much less frustrating reading experience. There's a few surprises, some action, and happy moments that sent tingles through my heart. The ending was incredible and just the way I like it to be. :) This was steamy and touching.

This is the first of this series I've had the chance to read. After the way this story pulled me in from the beginning, I sure want to check out the others. We have a nurse, Skye, a security expert, Brandon and the young man that brought them back together, Caleb. Skye and Brandon have a history and haven't seen each other in years. Neither was ready for a commitment before, but things just may have changed now since they are both committed to keeping Caleb alive. Caleb saw his father murdered by dad's drug dealer. If that wasn't enough, he's placed with a nice foster family and they are murdered and he is shot and left for dead. This is a fast paced story and so emotional it just kept me reading until I finished it. I loved the way things worked out for everyone, specially Caleb who never had a "normal childhood". I highly recommend reading this because it will leave you with a warm and fuzzy feeling when you're through. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest and impartial review.

When Skye meets Caleb after being shot, all she wants is to protect him, when the police don't seem to have to resources or even care that much, she goes in search of a private security company herself. While looking she sees a man from her past, Brandon, after the time they spent together, she is positive that he will be able to keep Caleb safe from the Drug dealer that's trying to kill him. When Brandon sees that it's Skye that has hired him, he is more than happy to spend time with the woman that has been on his mind for the last five years. But the gunman after Caleb isn't the only thing they have to worry about, Caleb isn't a typical kid, he's got an extra gene, something that makes him different.
A beautiful story, I enjoyed how they could admit that they weren't ready five years ago, that they discover so much about themselves and each other as they share the safe house.

This series gets better and better!
Parenthood is about so much more than DNA, and each story in the Finding Fatherhood series is about a shifter who becomes a father in an unusual way. Brandon works for the security company Skye hires to protect young Caleb when she realizes the understaffed police department isn't up to the task. Skye is the fling that maybe could have been more, and here's a second chance for Brandon... protecting Caleb is simple, the challenge is figuring out how to talk to a kid.
I love how this series explores nature vs. nurture, focuses on the importance of loving adults in a child's life, and reminds us physical is not the only type of strength.
I was gifted with a copy of this story, and switched to the Kindle Unlimited version when it was published.
Brandon may be a wolf, but as I see it, he masters the art of fatherly bear hugs.

Really a fun read.
As a nurse Skye heard about the boy shot and his forster family being killed. He just wanted him to have a friendly face to wake up to after his surgery. When caleb hastings told her about the murder being the same one that killed his dad she just had to protect him. They were told by a detective would call them in a few days but they were busy so she hired her own security to see to the boys safety and since she had meet Brandon Hughes before she picked him.
Good thing too because Brandon was a wolf shifter and his wolf was all to happy to have Skype back in his life and to keep her and the boy safe.
Love the characters in this and it's a great story too. If you love shifters and think men who step into the father's shoes is sexy this is your book.

The story was emotional yet intriguing at times and I truly thought the characters are well developed and engaging with a great storyline! The author has a way of writing a story that draws you in and makes the reader forget about everything else around them. This short book is not short of steamy situations, but I love how the revenge and dealing with those who have their own personal agendas play out in this book. I enjoyed this story; it was fast passed with some good clean loving. This series is a fun series, I love that you have these strong shifter men and they melt not only for the hot mate but, for the children that are in the story as well. Nothing says sexy more then when a man can give his heart to an innocent child who is not from his blood. If you enjoy sweet stories with a little hot romance this is a story for you. If you’re still not sure then try a sample first.

This is a great written story of two people brought back together after five years. Due to unforeseen circumstances Brandon and Skye are reunited. Skye's patient a young boy who was shot needs a protector. This starts and adventure for Brandon, Skye and young Caleb. Will Brandon be able to control Caled and protect both Skye and Caleb? This is a very moving story. I enjoyed it and recommend it as a must read at 5 stars.

I liked this story. Alright maybe the theme is not new but it is well written and I liked the characters. I have not really found a story from Ms Fawkes that I have not liked. I am very happy to give this story 5 stars. I would like to thank the author for the opportunity to read and review this story.

Good and entertaining
