This is one of the best Jewish holiday books for children that I've ever read. It captures the frustration a boy feels at going to a baseball game (opening day?) and being unable to eat any of the food sold at the stadium because it's not kosher for Passover. The ending, which I won't spoil, might not be entirely realistic, but it incorporates a time-honored Jewish theme and I found it very satisfying in a bittersweet sort of way.
