When he stumbled across a dog and its homeless owner scrounging for food in an alley, his protective instincts kicked it. But the woman quickly disappeared before he could help.
Searching for her, he discovered a beautiful woman and her dog needing to be rescued. An accident had robbed her of her memory, but the faithful companion dog was the key to her past. Scared, could she trust the handsome veterinarian offering to help unlock her past?
As the two unraveled the mystery of her amnesia and the intentional accident that caused it, Blaise called upon the Saints to assist when it appeared trained dogs, drug cartels, the TSA were involved.
Discovering who tried to kill her was his primary mission…falling in love with her was his reward.

As an Award Winning and International Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo Best Selling Author, I have always been an avid reader. I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.
My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.
My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with. I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.
I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters. When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!
Blaise Hanssen is a veterinarian with a penchant for picking up strays. Meeting with his fellow "Saints" crew at Chuck's Bar and Grille, he notices a waif-like woman sneaking peanuts. Thus begins the mystery of a young woman with amnesia and her dog named Gypsy. It doesn't take long for Blaise's wish to help someone in need to morph into something more. And the Saints Protection and Investigations team all work to solve this mystery. Watching the team solve the mystery...fascinating. Watching two people meant for each other...priceless! The situation is extremely dangerous and the 'perps' will surprise you. Very entertaining reading and highly recommended! I received an author's copy in exchange for an honest review.
Seriously, I want a Blaise. Because he is one of the best, most romantic book heroes I've ever read. And I think I fell even harder than Grace did.
Remember Love follows Blaise, the former DEA vet that's ready to settle down. He's over the life of bringing girls home and having meaningless one-night stands. For the last year he's just wanted someone to connect with. However, with his penchant for bringing home stray animals and helping them heal, he hasn't found a woman that can handle his lifestyle.
That is, until he found another kind of stray.
Grace doesn't know who she is. After waking up weeks ago with no memory and a dog, she doesn't know what to do. Her mind keeps telling her to trust no-one except her dog, Gypsy (the dog has an ID tag with nothing but a name). Living on the street has been draining and she's tired, hungry, alone, and scared. So when Blaise finds her desperate for food, he wants to help her.
Before long, Blaise is desperate to help the woman and her dog who have both captured his heart.
So this book was filled with a lot of angst. Poor Grace went through hell and Blaise was the only one to treat her like a person. It hurt to read and I cried multiple times throughout the book. To have characters connect with you and make you feel their pain is fantastic. It means the writing is doing its job.
During my favorite scene, where Blaise's family startles her in the house and she reacts like I would if I found two strangers in my house - she gets scratched by the cat and trips over the dog, landing on her butt on the floor - she says my favorite line of the book:
"'For people like you and me...a stray isn't a bad thing. It's just a creature that needs love and hopes someone special will find them. That was me...and you're my someone special.'"
I just don't see how anyone can read this and not fall in love with this couple.
Blaise beat Cam as my favorite guy of the series, but he's actually up there with some of my favorite book boyfriends ever. I just love him. As for Grace? Adored her. Amazing female character with so much compassion that I wish I could be like her.
Absolutely loved this book!! Again Maryann Jordan delivered a delicious sweet and awesome 5 because I can't give it more star story! Within the first couple of chapters she already had me in tears and when that happens I know the rest of the book has to be amazing and I was so right! Grace and her dog Gypsy are lost alone and without hope and Blaise comes in and helps her discover who she is and who she can become. I'm not one for giving away the story so I wont. But I will say everyone has to read this one because it's THAT good promise
Remember Love is the 8th installment in Maryann Jordan's highly successful Saints Protection & Protection series. It tells us the story about Blaise who is more comfortable around animals, the mysterious woman with amnesia and her faithful dog companion.
From the get go, Maryann Jordan weaved her magical spell and I got sucked into the story. Although I love all the Saints men (Jack is my #1 fav), as a huge animal lover (especially rescued ones) I think I have a more intimate connection with Blaise's story due to our love for animals. For this I was super invested in the storyline. It is definitely an A+ for me. I was left guessing who the perp really was and the reveal made me gasp. If I have to be a bit more critical, I do wish the perp's motive is more fleshed out. I feel that it was just gloss over and I wasn't quite satisfied. The Saints men are as Alpha as ever and I adore watching them interact with their women. Sometimes the h can be a hit or miss with me but this time, I really do like "Miss". I like how resilient she is and how determined she wants her memories returned.
The next story will be Luke (yay, finally) and his mysterious hacker. There is also a short bonus story on Mitch, the FBI agent who is an ally of the Saints men. Will he at last join the Saints? Just click the book and get a copy. You won't be disappointed!
I was given an author's copy but thoughts about the book is all on my own.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.I've wanted to read Blasie's story from Saints Protection since i read Serial Love and finally the wait is over and this romantic suspense delivered ever thing I expected in a Maryann Jordan book, Remember Love is Blaise's story an ex DEA and veterinarian he is used to picking up strays, but one night out with the rest of his fellow Saints, he looks across the bar and his eyes land on Grace although she doesn't even know her own name or much about herself after an accident left her with no memory of her past, except her bestfriend is her dog Gypsy, Blasie see's past her homeless look and is drawn to this hungry, sacred and seemly lost women as he builds her trust he does everything he can to help and protect Grace but as they put the pieces of her past together will they have the future together that they both want or will people from her past put all that all at risk. This is my favourite Saints book yes it's that good!! if you love this series you will love Remember Love if you haven't read any of this series or Maryann's book what are you waiting for highly recommend this book. xxxx
Every book this author writes excites me...this is no different. The Saints are a bunch of amazing hot sexy Alpha's but equally they are exceptional at what they do, Protecting and investigating. Each Saint has a slightly different background and skill set yet each complements the others. Blaine was always going to need a special woman to complement him and when he finds Grace even though she's homeless he falls hard and fast. This book is full of drama and emotional heartache but underneath is a strong love. Grace is everything Blaise needs, and loves his menagerie of pets almost as much as he does. Grace also needs the Saints to uncover her situation and what follows is not only their story but all the other characters as well. Great series and a definite must read book.
Love this book. Blaine is such a wonderful person. He is a vet with all sorts of strays. He sees Grace at the bar and she looks homeless. He feels the need to help her. She was in an accident and doesn't remember anything. The rough times she goes through to heal is a long and emotional one. He finally reaches her and is able to h e l.p. her through these times. Love his mom and sister. They are funny with their unexpected visits. The other men of the Saints and their partners are wonderful also. Love this adventurous book.
Maryann Jordan can't go wrong. Love this book. Blaise was such a sweetheart and protective of the heroine. Love their story and how I kept guessing who the bad guys were. Like usual lots of suspense and all the hot Saints in action. So sad to see this series that I love almost coming to an end (only Luke and Marc left) but looking forward to Mitch and the Baytown Boys. Maryann is the best and I highly recommend her books. Authors copy received for an honest review.
Blaise is my newest favorite of the Saints men. Swoon!!!! I believe that this was Maryann Jordan's best book to date. This story is of finding your perfect match in the most unlikely place. I was totally engrossed and didn't want to stop. Because I too wanted Grace to remember. Blaise was patient and kind. Their love for animals was just the icing on the cake. My newest favorite of Maryann Jordans. Highly recommended.
This book will take you on a journey of emotions. Maryann did an amazing job of making me feel like I was going through everything with Blaise and Grace. She did not disappoint in anyway. What are you waiting for, you know you want to one click.
Maryann Jordan has done it again! Another beautiful story about one of the Alpha Saint men and their leading lady. Lots of good looking men, a good thrilling mystery, and a leading lady in distress. This was Blais story and of course the other Saints and their women were all represented in this book as well. I love how the women all welcome the new woman into their circle! Nothing better than great friends, a great tribe to support you! I am so excited for the next installment in The Saints Series! In have read every single book Maryann Jordan has written and she has never failed to suck me in! Dayreader LT
I thought Monty was my favorite saint but nope Blaise was. Absolutely loved this story! I usually stay away from amnesia story's but this was well put together. Blaise is a veterinarian who is part of the saints team, he sees all his friends in love and having children he wants to find love too but he need to find a girl who wouldn't care for a little animal hair. You see he is know to bring home stray animals and so a little fur on his clothes doesn't bother him but he hopes to find someone who won't mind either. When he comes in contacts with Miss ( Grace)and her dog he feels so protective of her so what does he do.. like other saints he falls hard for a girl who is skittish that can't remember her name. Grace doesn't remember who she is or anything about her life only that her dog is very protective of her. When she finally ask Blaise for help they are thrown into a fight from dirty cops to drugs cartels. I loved how grace was a strong heroine and didn't have a push pull relationship with him she was all in and so was Blaise. I can't wait for tech savvy Luke and his mystery girl but the preview for Mitch (the FBI guy who always helps ) I am so ready and intrigued what his story will be.
Oh how I loved Blaise and Grace. She's another stray that he tries to save. He's hot and a former Veterinarian that worked with the DEA. The story is wonderfully written with love, hope, and intrigue. Grace can't remember her past but she knows she was in danger. Hiding with her dog Gypsy she stumbles upon Blaise at a dinner. He sees her and she's looks like she could use a good meal... So he does what he always does, helps her. She's just another stray.. But she becomes more than that and while he helps her find out what happened to her he falls for the beautiful intriguing woman. She's terrified but Blaise makes her feel safe so she takes a chance and along with the rest of The Saints, they will discover just how much danger she was in. This book keep me guessing until the very end!!!
Maryann, you out did yourself once again. This series was by far the best, (But don't be fooled, so was her first one) I recommend this book and anything she writes I would recommend even if I haven't read it yet.
Blaise and Grace have a very unique connection. The love of an animal can bring people together. That you trust your animal to show you if you can trust someone else when you just don't know who to trust shows how much animal instinct is important. Learning to love a person and realizing that that love comes from somewhere deep based on mutual love of animals is amazing. These two found love through learning about each other and Blaise's comforting/nurturing nature with Grace, it was impossible not to fall in love with them.
I feel in love with Blaise. Blaine it's a hot veterinarian from the DEA that is now a member of the Saints. He is constantly picking up stray animals to take care of and rehome. Grace is a strong sweet woman that has lost her memory. Blaise takes care of Grace trying to help her get her memory back. This book is well written and tender. I believe it is my favorite of Maryann Jordan.
Maryann jordan you have certainly done it again. This is an amazing book from your saints protection series and just as amazing as ever other part. Had no doubts that this would be any less than all your other books. certainly would recommend this book to anyone. If you love a beautiful story then read Maryann Jordan cause she definitely delivers an amazing tale of love.
I enjoyed this book so much I loved that he picked up strays especially since I love animals so much. I loved that as soon as he saw her he wanted to help and protect her. We need more people like that in the real world. "L
I thought this was a good story. Love the memory loss story-line, the hero is loyal and protective. They both share a love of animals, the dog steals the show. LOL. Fantastic epilogue.
This author does such Alpha heroes and the women so well. This book was no exception Blaise is such a likable guy who has his rescue animals that you just have to love.
‘Saints Protection & Investigation - A private investigation business, pulling together men from the CIA, FBI, ATF, DEA, Border Patrol, SEALs, and police, devoted to the missions that no one else wanted or could solve.’
Remember Love is the eighth book in the Saints Protection & Investigations series by Maryann Jordan. After seeing this series pop up several times as recommendations from friends on social media, I knew I needed to check them out. But when I went to purchase one to explore, I found I had several waiting on my Kindle that I hadn't even read yet ..... so I quickly set about remedying that. This is an engrossing twelve-book journey that blends romantic suspense with high-stakes investigative drama. The core of the series follows a private investigation business composed of men with backgrounds in the CIA, FBI, ATF, DEA, Border Patrol, SEALs, and police – all are individuals uniquely suited to tackle missions no one else can handle. This military-trained ensemble ensures plenty of adrenaline-fueled action while also maintaining a more personal element through the romantic subplots. Each book introduces us to strong, alpha male MMCs who are then paired with resilient, intelligent women. The complex interplay between duty and romance gives the characters relatable motivation and plenty of growth. Ms. Jordan crafted tightly woven storylines, ranging from kidnapping rescues and cartel confrontations to counterterrorism and high-tech investigations. Each mission is distinct, often escalating in danger and complexity, which maintained the suspense throughout the stories/series. The romances are an integral part of the storyline/s - offering steamy interactions that complement the suspenseful storylines. Relationships develop naturally under the pressure of shared danger, enhancing the emotional stakes without overwhelming the investigation plots. Maryann Jordan balances intense action, emotion, and steamy romance - creating a binge-worthy collection I recommend for readers who appreciate edge-of-your-seat suspense, alpha-type heroes, strong heroines, and high-stakes missions. Happy Reading…
2.5* So many plot mistakes. I did enjoy it but can’t get over all the errors! 🥲
Phew. Where do I start? So many mistakes and plot errors that it totally spoiled it for me.
When Blaise is at the bar one night he spots a homeless woman, sitting at the bar. Something about her calls to him, and when she runs away from him, he is determined to find her and her dog. When Grace’s dog is injured she has to go to Blaise for help. He’s a veterinarian who has a surgery set up in his house. (?) So she goes to stay with him while her dog recovers.
Grace has amnesia after she was in a car accident and woke up down a cliff with a dog next to her car. She’s been living in an abandoned house when Blaise steps up to help her. As she slowly starts to regain her memories, the Saints are putting the pieces together to figure out what happened to her. Grace stats with Blaise and of course they fall in love, and have endless sex.
1) Grace has her dog Gypsy in the car with her when she’s forced off the road. When she wakes up her dog is sat next to the car. Her dog would have been thrown into the windscreen and either badly injured or killed. Not sat next to her car, perfectly fine!!! 2) Blaise runs a shelter for animals and has cats and dogs. He never walks the dogs and never seems to clean their cages out. The dogs outside would be going insane! Never being walked or taken out!!! He also leaves them in the day, ALL DAY!! So none of them ever have accidents?? 3) Grace is in serious danger but he lets her drive his car alone. Of course the inevitable happens….. 4) At the beginning of the book Blaise rings all the vets in the area, as Grace’s dog is injured. Later on she’s fine.
I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Two last niggles with all of these books. The women never have periods, and the men all speak the same and have identical sex with their women! Bizarre!
Blaise Hanssen is a veterinarian who has his own place to take care of animals in need of homes. He has brought in strays for a long time, nurturing them and healing them so they can be adopted out. He is generous and loves animals, sometimes more than people.
Grace has amnesia and is running from something she doesn't remember. Her only companion and the one who holds the secret to her identity is her faithful dog, Gypsy. She is scared and skittish but strong and brave.
Blaise sees her in the gangs favorite bar and feels protective of her but she is gone before he sees her leave. He catches up with her again in the alley behind the bar but she leaves again quickly leaving him to vow to find her again. He does and the twists and turns begin as they work together to solve the mystery of who she is and who tried to kill her.
This was a page turner filled with action and a few funny moments provided by Blaise's mom and sister! Another saint falls hard and two kindred spirits come together in a beautiful love story. This was hard to put down and I enjoyed the fact that Blaise had so many animals! The was Ms. Jordan describes the beauty of Virginia makes me want to go and visit and see for myself the places she describes. Her heroes are alpha males but their women are just as strong in their own way. Grace is no different. This is another wonderful addition to this series. On to the next one!
Out for food and drinks with his friends, veterinarian Blaise Hanssen’s eyes are drawn to the woman at the corner of the bar. Watching her while talking to the bartender, Blaise realizes she’s hungry and homeless, the scar on her head pushes thoughts of abuse. He has food sent to her and a few moments later, he sees she’s gone! Annoyed that he didn’t make more of an effort to help, he goes out for air and is appalled to see her digging scraps from garbage for herself and her dog.
He promises to bring more food but she’s gone when he comes back with it and searches for her to no avail. A stop at the bar gives him a lead, he finds her but she’s skittish as she accepts the lunch he buys at a food truck. After a few days of this, she rushes to him because her dog is hurt. Helping her dog, Gypsy, cracks the information vault, she has no idea of her name. Blaise starts to dig with help from his team and they realize that she’s also in trouble; as Saints they have to help!
This outing is much more than the brief description above or the synopsis details. To this readers taste, it evokes empathy for less fortunate people, underscores the importance of pets, highlights actions shouts while words whisper and that love is where you find it. That said, this read includes likable characters, good pacing, a solid tale and a smatter of red herrings. Rating: 4.5stars
This is another great book in the Saints Protection & Investigation series. Blaise is known for picking up strays so when he encounters a skittish woman with a very protective German shepherd he knows he’ll have to move slowly. As he gains her trust he learns she has amnesia. Blaise and the Saints take on the mission to find out who she is and what happened. I loved Blaise’s approach and watching the relationship develop between him and Grace and her K9. This one is emotional and suspenseful and has nosy family members, beautiful animals, a man who thought he’d never met a woman who would accept his love of animals and the fur that comes with them, a woman who remembers nothing finding a man she can trust and fall in love with, supportive friends and lots of steam.
WOW! This story is intriguing from the gitgo. This story is about Blaise and Grace and Gypsy. The beginning starts out sadly but once Blaise gets involved, it seems to pick up. We know, in the beginning, that Grace loses her memories but Blaise is smitten with her. Blaise helps Grace and Gypsy as much as she allows him to. It gets more intense towards the end when we find out who was in "bed" with the cartel. Once the bad guys are neutralized and Gypsy makes a full recovery, Blaise and Grace finally find their happily ever after. FANTASTIC job Maryann! I would recommend this book.
Blaise always understand animals better than people. Working for the Saints and running his animal shelter gave him the best of both worlds. Except someone to share it with. Until Miss (Grace). Not knowing who she was or what happened Grace tried to stay away from people. Living on the streets she didn't trust anyone until Blaise. Another wonderful book in the series.
