“Information overload”, “too much going on”, “full email inbox”, “too much on your plate”, “heavy workload”, “ASAP”, “piles that keep growing”, it has to get better soon… Yes, there are many ways to describe the chaotic life many of us lead at work. But, if we create a better structure at work, we will have more time for what matters most to us and to our business. Super Structured is based on a highly successful training program and is for anyone who wants to create a workday that runs smoother and with greater ease. In short chapters with useful advice and tips mixed with practical exercises, David Stiernholm teaches you how you can work in a more structured way through “organization”, “automation” and “focus”. The book gives you the tools, mindset, methods and routines that will make you more efficient, more flexible and actually happier.
Det finns många bra tips i den här boken om du vill bli mer strukturerad på jobbet. För mig är det en pågående process och några tips jag hittade här hjälper mig att bli ännu bättre på att få rätt saker gjorda.
Stiernholm offers a systematic, nonjudgmental way of doing things. We had us pegged, too. We thought that we were organized within our stacks, piles, emails. Yeah.
No. We are just the mess of which the author speaks. However, hope is at hand. More than a how-to, this is a, "Here's how to think of this situation." It's much kinder than we are about our messes.
It's pretty simple too.
Yes.
We have already begun to integrate a lot of Stiernholm's thinking into our daily routine and it has helped tremendously. We have been able to actually squeeze in more people time (socializing) at the end of a work day because we have utilized our time in a manner befitting the wise.
Nothing significant I didn't already know but the key thing i've got from reading this book is the desire/intention to break this down. I won't get super organised overnight, it's a process which comes one day at a time. Recommended read if you run your own business or manage team.
