The story of Bertie, a young boy from Germany who has an English Mother, his drafting into a German Spy Network, his missions, the friends he makes along the way and how he becomes a Hero.
This book is unputdownable, it grips you from the start as you live through WW1 with its marvellous characters. A must read for Children and Adults alike.
