Every month Murphy updates his system password. He keeps the same word and changes the number at the end. If he can stay long enough, if he can reach Murphy_175 he will have clocked up 15 years and a bonus to his pension.
But now Murphy and his colleagues are being out sourced! They now have ten weeks to decide - either sign the new employment contract, or go! Some are fearful of what the future may hold - but Murphy is enraged! He is not cooperating and has decided to occupy the roof where he can devise a new plan – something spectacular that will be a fitting response to the injustice he sees all around him.
At times funny and satirical at times dark and disturbing – this novella explores a time of change for Murphy and his co-workers. The story shows that in a time of grave social injustice even an ordinary man like Murphy can become radicalised!
