What a great book to start this new hobby. Very detailed and how to do things. Next to that a lot of pics with ideas. A very inspiring book to read and to make something.
In-depth resource that not only touches on the basics but also ways to vary your approach as you gain more experience. The artist profiles also include info about the tools and media each artists prefers, so you feel encouraged to try different things and not just the brands recommended by the author.
A great introduction book to Linocut. It goes over all the materials, tools, and techniques for creating linocut prints. A nice part is it includes a few spotlights on other linocut artists who talk about their background, technique, and process. A good amount of photos and step-by-step examples.
Read this on my kindle and I just don’t enjoy reading reference books on my kindle. It was just so clumsy to try and get a full understanding of images by clicking ten times to get through an image. Plus, I couldn’t appreciate any colors.

This book is, without reservation, the single best book for printmakers that there is. It is specifically for linocut printmaking but is invaluable to any relief printer.
If you are serious about linocutting, then this is the book for you. I would say that this is for an 'improver' rather than a complete beginner. This is the most thorough guide to an art technique I have ever read and would perhaps be off-putting to someone who has never done printmaking before. It is an excellent, comprehensive guide to its subject.
An amazing book! It is packed full of relevant, important information about linocut. The images are beautiful and the author even features several artists/designers who do linocut in a variety of ways. I highly recommend this book! Beginners and intermediates would find the most use from it, I believe.
