What I Learned from God While Gardening

Rate this book
From best-selling author Niki Anderson, along with Cristine Bolley, comes a collection of meditations that gardeners, both long-time green thumbs and novices, will enjoy. Each of the fifty chapters includes a true story on a garden-related theme, followed by "The Root of the Matter" (a spiritual application), "The Fragrance of Praise" (a brief prayer), "Garden Tools" (a practical gardening tip), and "Wildflowers" (a potpourri of garden facts, verses, or anecdotes). The authors offer "shoots of wisdom, sprouts of joy, and blades of wonder" they've discovered while contemplating God in their gardens, in hopes of encouraging readers to grow.

Thanks for this book. I enjoyed reading about some famous gardens, the garden hints, and usage of Scripture. My favorite was on pansies being the flower of hope ;)
