An absolutely incredible study of John! I truly appreciate the depth of research and thought that went into this book, and I will definitely be looking into more of the author's verse-by-verse studies. As a believer, I have read the Gospel of John many times, but breaking it down verse by verse was truly life-changing.
This study helped me see the crucifixion in a deeply convicting way—realizing that my sin put Jesus there. Too often, the cross is glorified without fully acknowledging the horrific nature of His death. I also really appreciated the thoughtful cross-referencing with other scriptures, which added even more depth to the study.
The only reason I’m giving this four stars instead of five is due to some spelling and grammar issues throughout the book. While they didn’t take away from the overall impact, they were noticeable at times. That said, I highly recommend this study to anyone wanting to dive deeper into John’s Gospel!
