What happens, when two people from different cultures meet, and an attraction ignites? Micha Mulaney is a proud, traditional, and independent woman. She not only manages the entire West Wing at Cresthaven Senior Home, but owns and co-operates Pine Ridge Stables & Breeders, along with her full-blooded Oglala Sioux mother on the Pine Ridge Reservation.
Ayden Keller, hails from a prominent South Dakota family, heads the family business as its CEO, and the grandson of a recuperating resident now housed on Micha's wing.
Matriarch, Maggie Keller, is a matchmaker at heart. She adores Micha and destined to point the two young, unsuspecting adults in the right direction. Were their chances for that forever kind of love happening between them awfully good? Chances are that love finds a way every time.
I was an avid reader of romance fiction before I was able to follow my dream of becoming a published author.
It took nearly thirty hard-knock years before beginning that journey. If not for them, however, I never would have known how to create the kind of raw, human, emotion I want my readers to feel during their journey into my world of contemporary, historical, and suspense romances.
You'll find my characters relatable, flawed, sometimes wounded and broken who eventually find what we all seek out of life ... a deep connection, being understood and accepted, and with an ever-lasting love grown from it all. I write about life and the lessons learned from its experiences and welcome you into my world. Be prepared to laugh, cry, and hopefully be inspired in some small way.
Have a blessed day & hugs from me to you.icons located at the bottom of my w
Michante also known as Micha is a full time nurse at Cresthaven Home for Seniors and she loves her job. She is half Oglala Sioux Indian half Welsh. She loves her family and the people that live on the reservation where she lives. Her father was a famous horseman and won loads of awards for Dressage and also breeding horses as well.
Ayden Keller is the grandson of Maggie one of the residents at Cresthaven and Maggie loves Micha. She is the CEO of the family business and hasn’t found the right girl to spend his life with but that is until he meets Micha and he instantly falls in love with her. His grandmother has done nothing but talk about her, so when he had the chance he went to Cresthaven Home to see Maggie and to meet Micha the girl his grandmother will not stop talking about.
When Micha meet Ayden there is an instant chemisty.
Micha has been working at Cresthaven for years but she also works at the family business as well that herself and her mum opened up to rise horses and breed them also for other people to house their horses there. They named it after her father because of who he was. They employ the people that live on the reservation so that they at least have some money going into their homes.
When Ayden went to the reservation to meet Micha for the day he was shocked at the whole place at the way they lived. He was shocked to find the place where Micha would be working with her mum and he knew that he wanted to help out in some way and he did. Micha fell in love with him because of his kind heart and not to mention he was handsome as well.
I love this story as it shows that no matter what you look like there is always someone out there for you.
I loved this short romance by Cynthis Roberts. "Chances are" Would have never met if it wasn't for the fact that Ayden's grandmother was in a care facility being looked after where Micha worked. Ayden's and Micha are from different cultures and backgrounds. Micha is a Native American who is a skilled health practitioner, but spends all her spare time supporting her mother to ensure that there are opportunities available to other Native Americans who live in dire poverty on the reservation, whereas Ayden is a white business man and CEO of his families business. There was a simplicity to this book that I liked, a mutual respect for each other's business achievements, a mutual interest in nature and horses and an emotional thread between the two. Being British I loved the history included about the Native American way of life, I would have been happy to read more on this and for this reason I felt a bit cheated that they missed the Sundance Ceremony. A gear easy read, emotionally deep romance. In my opinion sUitable for all age groups
I have said it before and I will say it again. This series just keeps on getting better. I am so sad that this is the last book in the current series. I enjoyed every minute of this book and the series!
Micha Mulaney and Ayden Keller are as opposite as can be, yet they work so well togehter in this book. I truly love thas Ms Roberts are able to create such life like characters and scenarios. This book was especially interesting to me because of Misha's heritage. Not having lived in the states or have had any contact with the first nation people, it was very interesting.
I truly enjoyed every page in this book. I received a free copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Just getting to write this now, but it was new year's eve and I was home alone reading. Not a bad thing though, because I got to keep company with Miss Robert's Chances Are. Her characters were from totally different worlds and the way she incorporated Micah's heritage and culture made the story even more interesting. It was an eye opener to learn how the Native Indian have suffered through the centuries and still are. This was such a beautiful love story. Ayden is the kind of man I think every woman would die to meet and fall in love with. Miss Roberts is definitely my new found author.
Let me first say this book is a definite must read! Chances Are brings two different people from two different cultures and intertwines both cultures and people together. The love story that all started with Maggie an elder woman who was in Cresthaven Homes for Seniors who recently got hurt and was rehabilitated. The young Native American woman named Micha was helping Maggie to recover so she could go back home with her beloved grandson Ayden. Ayden is the CEO of Keller Industries that worked into his grandmother's position when he was ready for it. Micha also worked on her families reservation part time that was created by her father's legacy. Micha and Ayden built a friendship that slowly became more than a friendship. Micha was skeptical because Ayden and herself were from two different cultures and she felt that most white people didn't like Native Americans. This book gave you romance, and historical views that mixed two different people from two different cultures that created an amazing love story. I can't wait to read more of Cynthia Roberts books!
First off, I am so sad that this is the last book in this series! I have loved this series, the characters, the stories and Cynthia Robert's writing so much.

I thoroughly enjoyed the characters in this book. It was not only fun to get to know Micha, but Ms. Robert's also opened my eyes to some of the history and culture (and sufferings) of the Native Indians. I loved Micha's independence, and her interactions with Maggie. Maggie's grandson, Ayden, is seriously the kind of guy that I always thought my future Prince Charming would be like. It was so fun to watch Maggie's attempts to matchmake Micha and Ayden, and the relationship that followed. I loved every page!
Get this book. And then buy the whole series. You will not be disappointed!
