This was short but sweet. I like how well this was drawn and the peek into Mulder's life pre-X-Files. I look forward to reading more.

It was November 27, 1973. Samantha Mulder, age 8, and Fox Mulder, age 12, were home alone for the night while their parents while their parents were visiting friends. The children stayed indoors throughout the evening, playing a board game and watching television. There were no signs of forced entry around the home.

The abduction of his little sister was always a big part of Fox Mulder's character in the X-Files. This new comic book series looks to explore Mulder's childhood following the abduction and the start of his obsession with all things extraterrestrial.

Currently free on Amazon, this first installment doesn't give an awful lot away but you get a sense it'll be filled with childhood adventures and possibly some of the supernatural, otherworldly, and alien delights that we were treated to during the long-running TV series.

I think it'll be one to keep an eye out for in the future but I'm currently not gripped enough to go dashing off to buy more.

This was okay - as someone who was too young when the original series was on TV and never really got a taste for the TV show, I was intrigued to try the comics. The illustrations were realistic and with a 70's-80's feel that fits the timeline and the X-Files vibe. The story as very short, introducing a mystery but showing no real investigative work, so it wasn't quite enough to convince me to continue.

Graphic XFiles

This was good but it was just too short, obviously it needs you to buy the next one and they are just chapters. Who are Mulder 's friends?
Interesting to see how the original characters developed.

It's short but sweet, a great start to a series which is looking at Mulder and Scully in their early years. The art is brilliant, I like the cartoon feel about it. Not a lot to this one, but should make a great little companion series.

Wasn't that impressed with this first Mulder themed story. The cartoony art and dialogue make it feel like a kids X-Files animated series. The fact it revisits such iconic scenes with a cartoony filter was off putting.

This was a short preview that focused on when Mulder was a child and his sister was abducted. Overall, it was well-done, though in a cartoonier style than I would have expected. Unfortunately, this volume didn't get far enough in the story to really become interesting.

even it's really short, but I love it! I love how both of Mulder and Scully back stories goes (and it's pretty good comic if you're also waiting for next X Files season)
