With graduation coming up, Nathanial ‘Memphis’ Turner is feeling pretty good about his future. Maybe he’s not on the fast track to making all his dreams come true, but the road he’s on will get him there eventually. Because she’s on it with him. His love. His life.

Stone ‘Riot’ Rousseau has been the nutty peanut butter to his jelly since she was five, and no matter how hard their parents have tried to keep them apart, there’s never been one without the other.

But that’s all about to change…

“It took eleven years to make her mine for good and eleven hours to lose her forever.” ~ Memphis Turner

*****Eleven is a novelette and intended as a prequel to the novel Eight. Both are a part of the pINK series*****

Dog Lover who likes her pastries full of cream and sugar...oh...and I write some ;-)

Aside from being an author, I am also a mom to a beautiful little girl. I tell everyone I named her after my great-grandmother (because that's the mature answer), but really, I named her after my favorite princess - just so happens I got lucky and they had the same name...If I wasn't a writer, I would work on a horse ranch - I'm an animal lover (in addition to dogs, horses are at the top of my list). I wear flip-flops pretty much everywhere I go. I would rather stay awake until 5 am than get up at 5 am (years of bar tending have left their mark), if I can, I'm going to the beach AND I will always be nice to people who bring me chocolate...or coffee...if you bring me both, I'll probably love you forever.

I write the way I live, following the story wherever it may lead, always ready to start the next one. This is clearly reflected in my body of work which to date includes everything from Children's Lit to Thrillers.
I happily reside in sunny Florida (for now) with my daughter and three dogs.

Stone Rosalie Rousseau, "Riot" has been in love with Nate Turner "Memphis" for as long as they both can remember. They have kept their relationship on the down low due to their age difference but as soon as Riot graduates they are free to be with each other.

But then one night everything changes and Memphis is lost.

This was an incredible novelette as it leads you to the beginning of what is about to happen in the author's next book Eight.

The love between Memphis and Riot is intense as they have both loved each other for so long but it is also a "forbidden" romance!

If you've read Nine and Ten you have forewarning of what's going to happen but this book really brings it home with what the heck is she doing??? I can't wait for Eight as I know there is going to be so much to learn about why!!

I really enjoyed getting to know the background of Riot and Memphis before jumping into Eight. I felt a little put off by how Riot and how it went down. I really enjoy Memphis as a character and look forward to getting to know him better.
