Great book

I enjoyed reading this one because this story is something I could see happening in real life and I am sure that there are couples who have been together for that long or more. Can't wait to read another one of Mike Warren great masterpieces

My hat goes off to Mike Warren for writing this beautiful love story between Joseph and Keith. Though the ending is sad--losing a spouse is never easy--I was glad to read about two African-American men that were in a stable relationship that lasted for decades. Mr. Warren effectively put the lie to the belief that LGBT relationships, particularly those between two African-American men, can't stand the test of time. As an African-American gay man who is in such a long-term marriage, I would have loved to have read such a book when I came out in the early '70s. Then again, maybe I've become the role model I wanted to have. I also appreciate the fact that Mr. Warren has included LGBT characters of a certain age in his body of work. I look forward to more!
