PANTHER Cillian Turick never dreamed he’d find another mate after his first beloved left him, but when his first class of the semester begins with the distinct scent of a mate wafting through the room, it’s all he can do not to claim her right then and there. The only problem? He doesn’t know which of his female students is creating that irresistible smell. Try as he might to ignore it, the wild cat inside him will never let him, and the search for her consumes him entirely… MATE Cindy has never had an interest in boys. Or girls. Or anyone. A self-titled asexual, she’s lived her whole life devoid of sexual interest. Now, in her junior year of college at a prestigious university, this is a good thing: all the more time to devote to classwork, internships, and grooming herself for a career. Until, that is, she signs up for a class on Shifter Relations with the famed Professor Turick – famed for his knowledge on the subject, but also for his good looks and sexy British accent. The class is supposed to teach Cindy about how shifter populations and human populations can get along, but no sooner does the semester start than she realizes she’ll be learning a whole lot more.
Bonus stories included.
Warning! This ebook contains super hot and explicit scenes that are intended for adult readers only! Discretion is advised!
Nothing new under the sun or particularly spectacular in this multi-book volume, but the first two stories entertain. The quality of writing of the last, a 2-part story, doesn't match the shifter-oriented stories. The shifter stories could be better written, but they're not awful by any means. If you're looking to pass the time--like I am tonight due to yet another bout of insomnia--then this makes for easy reading. Three stars for adequacy.
This short story is a quick read, with two solid characters who have their heads on their shoulders. Cillian is a panther shifter who scents his mate, and tracks her down. Cindy has never been into the dating thing, and is having her eyes opened to a part of life she has never explored.
I’ve been doing a lot of Librarian cleanup on Goodreads and one of the big things I’ve been fixing is title corrections on self-pubbed paranormal romance. There are so many of these books, I decided to check one out to see why there were so many. I didn’t want to actually spend money on this, so I looked and eventually found Tracking His Mate which was free on Amazon.
Tracking His Mate was quite possibly the worst thing I’ve ever read in my entire life. There were so many grammatical errors that it was extremely difficult to get through. Also, the sex scenes were laughable (as in I actually laughed out loud they were so bad). The only thing this book had going for it was how much it made me laugh from the complete ridiculousness.
I would not recommend this to anyone and don’t understand why there are so many of these books.
