I had read the second book in the series and thought it was pretty funny. So I was excited when I saw this one come up and that the publisher had approved me.

While this one had it's moments, it wasn't as funny as the other one. It seemed to take a while to get going, but when it did, it really shot off like a bang. I love the oldest daughter. Tying up the criminals and even giving them therapy sessions. It was definitely a Keystone Kops madcap story the last half of the book. Rosie (aka CriCri) is quite the character just going along life minding her own business, well most of the time. She certainly has a knack for getting herself in trouble though.

If you like humor and, in this case, don't mind waiting a little for it to start, then you need to check this one out.

Thanks to AmazonCrossing for approving my request and to Net Galley for providing me with a free e-galley in exchange for an honest review.

I won this in a Goodreads giveaway.

This is book three in the Rosie Maldonne's World series, but is a standalone. The plot is actually good and I would have enjoyed it more if there was less of the madcap goings on. Some of it was really funny, but it just kept getting crazier. More is not always better.

This is the first book that I have read by Alice Quinn. From some of the reviews, the first two books were really good and I would like to read book one to see for myself. However, if they're as off the wall as this one, I think I'll skip the rest.

I really love this series. A trailer park single mum on welfare, struggling to get by on her welfare cheque and odd jobs and do the best for her kids...who just happens to get involved in all sorts of crazy mystery solving activities - totally by accident. Really over the top. Really funny. A good read.

Great characters!

A plot that keeps you turning the page. Characters who are represent a wide range of the population. All melting to give a very enjoyable and interesting story. There is not a full moment.

silly fun

Every time I read these books I picture I Love Lucy, or one of those over the top black and white old time comedies! Crazy action, well meaning Lady always getting into Madcap Situations. Great fun, every time!

Fun, but I wish the writing was a little tighter and less repetitive.

Not as good as the first 2 books. It just seem to have been all over the place. But I still love Rosie and can't wait for the next one.

This is fun because it's humorous and also because it's nice to read a cozy set in France. I'd read the second book in the series but I think you could read it as a standalone. It is at times a bit out there but the characters- especially Rosie- pull it through. Thanks to netgalley for the ARC and to Amazon making world literature available. Try this if you enjoy tales of women dealing with assorted kids, problems, and mysteries.

A crazy, funny book. Cricri is the strangest heroine I have ever read. She lives in a world of her own, tuning out what others, including her children, say. She is loving, dedicated, scatterbrained most the time and when she finally pays strict attention, deals quickly and decisively to solve the problems. The older children are strong characters and the supporting cast is delightful.

I would like to thank the authors, publishers, kindle and Goodreads for allowing me to read this book. The book was basically a romp and a lot of fun to read.. The heroine continually finds herself in these bizarre situations (often caused by herself) and then scrambles to get out of them and in the end sng the day. What more could you ask for if reading for entertainment

What a Fun (and Funny) read! Thanks to Good Reads and Alice Quinn, Queen of the Masquerade provided that bit of joy and humor that we all need, with a bit of escapism thrown in. CriCri is the young single mom of 3 daughters, under the age of 7..They live in a ROYAL trailer home in France and deal one escapade after another, murders, pyromaniacs, floods, car failure, WHATEVER AND WHENEVER!!
