He has twelve nights to gain her love. She has twelve nights to save his soul.
Fulfilling a childhood promise, Ashley Dumont returns to an ancient Druid garden in the Black Hills of Scotland on the eve of the winter solstice—a time when magic hums and the veil between realms thins and tears, allowing all manner of supernatural creatures through. Will the ghost who claimed to be her destiny still be there?
Caelan Innes awaits her arrival. Unjustly murdered in the sixteenth century, a second chance at life depends on this woman. The Druids grant them the twelve nights of Yule to find love and save Cael’s soul. Will a trip through time and the treachery of enemies make the sacrifice too dear?

Truly a magical story. This book made you believe in destiny ,magic and the power of true love. Time travel back in time to save her one true love. Beautiful, beautiful story.
I liked this story because Caelan and Ashley met when she was 7 years old, in a magic garden. He was an adult and asked her to come back to him when she was grown. He was a ghost and she was his destiny. It would be up to her to make him live again. She needed to “save his soul.” Ashley had until the Twelfth Night of Yule celebration was over to accomplish that task or Caelan would roam that magic garden for all eternity. They both had to sacrifice something in order to be together.
There was some vanilla sex in this story. It was referred to as “making love” but they didn’t really.
