INTO THE STORM

When Justin enters negotiations with the Brightlings, he hopes peace, unity, and equal rights for all Seraphim are within reach.

But Elyssa smells something fishy and Justin knows better than to ignore her advice. They discover that the mysterious new leader of the Brightling Empire is after a secret weapon hidden in Voltis, a forbidden place where destructive elemental forces destroy anything that tries to get through. If that's not bad enough, the leaders of the last two Darkling legions seem intent on starting a civil war and taking over the government.

Together with Elyssa, Shelton, and Adam, Justin manages to convince the Mzodi to take them to Voltis on a flying ship. It might be a race to their doom, but if they don't find out the secrets of Voltis and keep the weapon out of the hands of the Brightlings, the entire Darkling nation might once again be enslaved.

Why isn’t this a television series?💜

Seriously, if this was on television I’d have just finished season 13 anticipating season 14. Between the great writing and the brilliant narration, I can’t seem to get enough of this series. Book 13 has brought in some amazing new characters and I can’t wait to see where they will take us.
Fantastic book/series. I highly recommend starting with book 1 and reading in order to enjoy this series to the fullest. Well done!

Better than the last book

Justin and company just can't seem to stay out of trouble. With a powerful mad-woman on their tails and unable to get home to Eden, they are trying to find a way to deal with a war that's brewing in Serephena. Fun stuff ensues. Justin and Shelton continues to be annoying idiots with the mental maturity of 8th graders. Most of the characters are stereotypical idiots. Other than that, it's a quick read and better than sticking pins in your eyes. Enjoy.

strange relatives….

The “scooby” gang. Is back trying to get home , stay one step ahead of the crazy mom and find away home and find the powerful weapons BSC is after in the massive storm that no one wants to go in. The insane(himself) Justin feels it has to be something massive enough to take out miss crazy (3) .

Ummmmm

I don't want to give anything away, but how cool is that? And Arturo is alive, say what? Some shockers in this one, and lots of action. I want to be a sky pirate, and see Sirens and I think I want to be Elyssa, This series definitely gets your imagination cranking.

Excellent, as always

John Cohen’s mind is a marvel. He can keep dozens of characters, locations levels, all balanced and showing up under needed, usually as a surprise.
