I wanted to give this series more stars, but Taryn annoyed me. Landon was a total douche and kept lying to her, but she'd always jump right back into sleeping with him and thinking they would start a relationship, only to have Landon treat her like crap or have his next lie come out. She'd put her foot down, and he'd come crawling back, and she's just take him back. And in the end, I thought she was completely selfish. I understand why she wanted Landon to not want to wait around for years That was really selfish and bitchy! The other thing that annoyed me was every time Landon and Taryn had sex one or both of them said, "You feel so good." It got repetitive and old really quickly.

Why is this broken up into 6 books? It’s one book. Even the description for each of the 6 “books” is the same. Big turn off and makes me not want to read anything else from the author. I mean let’s face it this story is not worth $16

Hurt,Anger, and finding love!!
Annie forced Taryn to go to a bar and they sneak into a room where a party is going on. They crash the party and who do they run into Landon Hill. Taryn
couldn’t believe her eyes. Landon took off three years ago without notice. He is her brother’s best friend. She is kind of lost. After her mother’s passing she was never the same. Her, Landon catch up on old times. He is hiding secrets from her. Every time they seem to get close more secrets come out like he has a wife. Her brother told him years ago to stay away from his sister. She can’t understand how her brother could do that. The more she feels for Landon the more this keep happening. It takes a strong woman to deal with a man like this. She truly cared for him to keep putting up with this. His wife just keeps pushing and won’t sign divorce papers. She is thorn in his side. He will lose Tayrn if he doesn’t shape up. I felt for her. She wasn’t the only strong woman. Landon’s mom put up with his father’s abuse for thirty years and came out strong. Landon has so much anger and hurt because of his father. He is different with Taryn. I was routing for them even when things seem impossible.

Giving It All Up for The One
Landon gives up everything to get his divorce from Alexa, but will there be any regrets? Taryn decides that the internship isn't what she wants anymore. She realizes some things are more important and you don't have to give up your dreams.....just alter them. I enjoyed this storyline even though I still have a problem with why Landon married Alexa when his true love was Taryn. At least in the end these two found each other and received their HEA!

Good Story!
I loved this series. The author depicted how you can overcome loss, regret and sacrifice. Landon was willing to finally sacrifice everything for Taryn to finally have their HE A. This series had a sexy alpha male that loved a feisty sexy woman. This series covered a range of emotions, anger, jealousy,passion, regret, sadness, turmoil and finally happiness.

I don't like to book bash. But this series was a rip off. Books 2-5 didn't go past 50%. 2.99 for books that ended before the halfway point. And why do you suppose? So we would spend another $2.99 to finish the story. One book actually ended at 16%. And another at 27%. Could have been a good story if you didn't feel taken advantage of.
