Written as a standalone
Ryker Oakley only cared about three things during school —fighting, his band, and getting laid. When he took it upon himself to ‘babysit’ Bryleigh Munroe, he didn’t expect her to be so much trouble, and he sure as shit wasn’t prepared for how fast she would grow on him. Fast-forward to eight years later, his band—Twisted Transistor—is the most successful rock group known to mankind. When his brother’s wedding brings the only girl he ever came close to caring about, back into his life, he discovers something he thought they had left behind in the past, had been destroying her daily.
Bryleigh Munroe was a popular girl at school, but because her father was a politically powerful man in the San Diego region, the boys either swore away from her or were trying too hard to get with her. She wanted one night. Quick and dirty. No strings. Only she didn’t expect Ryker Oakley to flip the script on her without her even realizing. Eight years later, Bryleigh still battles with the mistakes she made when she was younger. She’s had to deal with things that she shouldn’t have had to, all on her own.
After all this time has their bond remained silent? Can she forgive the torment Ryker inflicted on her? Or will the choices they made all those years ago force them to re-unite.

I loved this book! Lol I know I say that about all Amo's books but I can't help it! They're so good!!

This is Ryker and Bryleigh's story...

Jaded. Ever had to look through jaded glass… The murky vision a reminder of your past…

 photo image_zpsoqsh5ys3.jpeg

 photo image_zpsibrz4eru.jpeg

It starts with both Ryker and Bryleigh seeing each other at Ryker's brother's wedding. The last time they interacted with one another was 8 years ago after a horrible breakup. So we go back in time to see what the fuck happened.

Bryleigh and Ryker start their relationship in high school just as Ryker and Ryder's band are becoming popular. Ryker is this huge playboy known throughout school that every guy wants to be and every girl wants to do. Bryleigh and Ryker have this pull that neither of them want to commit to so they decide to have a sex only. That didn't happen. Their relationship was addicting, toxic and completely self consuming. Bryleigh started to lose her sense of self.

l

Something bad happens and Ryker realizes she's different because of him so he decides to break it off. Not going lie Ryker was a complete shit! Omg what he did was fucked up. I was like, holy shit, you are a mother fucker! But I didn't care I was still team Ryker through the whole book. All I wanted was for the both of them to stay together.

 photo image_zpsc7fm423m.jpeg

We come back to the present and watch how once again as soon as they're reunited its explosive and self-destructing. Ryker really does show that with Bryleigh he'd do anything and everything. She's just as bad, Ryker is her one and she doesn't care if it makes her crazy.
 photo image_zpshlkmqlqp.jpeg

They are both stuck together in this huge shit storm that forces them to take a step back and deal with it before they can decide if they can ever have a real relationship.

 photo image_zpsjlnbdaft.jpeg

This book was an emotional ride for me. They're crazy relationship was hair pulling, and had my stomach dropping. I just wanted both of them to figure shit out and communicate!! You read the love they both have for one another pouring out through the pages and you know they both belong together.

3.75 "burning love" stars

this was a messed up read, it's about two young people, actually teens, who lived dangerously, for each other and in each other...even through out the immature behaviour, sexual liberation, and aggravated impulse actions, bordering on compulsive disorder, it still seemed like an understandable explanatory havoc of irationality, they were both hormonal teens acting on adulthood...

Ryker Oakley and Bryleigh Monroe
Dangerous...we were dangerous combination

they were wild and crazed up, experiencing with drugs, alcohol, gasping fast and hard for air and trying to search for somthing either of them knew what it was, as long as it felt good, until it became overwhelming for them both and then Ryker<7b> did a shitty thing that shattered Bryleigh in the same intensity she breathed him in.
One tragic event in their tight group, will also end the connections later cause of what they covered up...it will ricochet on Bryleigh's life eight years later...when they meet again...and everything goes into flames...cause that's just who they are to each other...
It was why we always worked, because she matched my crazy, but it was also why we were explosive when we argued though

Ryker was a player, a messed up fucker, who couldn't control his temper concerning Bryleigh...she's was his, she is his and she will always be his... even through the years that set them apart...
You're a puzzle, but you're my puzzle. I've always loved tearing it apart just so I can be the one to put it back together.

You're a part of me, Bryleigh. You've always been a part of me...

I have a perfect song for Ryker and Bryleigh
"Fire Meet Gasoline" by Sia

It's dangerous to fall in love
But I want to burn with you tonight
Hurt me
There's two of us
Bristling with desire
The pleasure's pain and fire
Burn me

So come on
I'll take you on, take you on
I ache for love, ache for us
Why don't you come
Don't you come a little closer
So come on now
Strike the match, strike the match now
We're a perfect match, perfect somehow
We were meant for one another
Come a little closer

[Chorus:]
Flame you came to me
Fire meet gasoline
Fire meet gasoline
I'm burning alive
I can barely breathe
When you're here loving me
Fire meet gasoline
Fire meet gasoline
I got all I need
When you came after me
Fire meet gasoline
I'm burning alive
And I can barely breathe
When you're here loving me
Fire meet gasoline
Burn with me tonight

And we will fly
Like smoke darknin' the skies
I'm Eve, I want to try
Take a bite

So come on now
Strike the match, strike the match now
We're a perfect match, perfect somehow
We were meant for one another
Come a little closer...

[Bridge:]
But it's a bad debt
Certain death
But I want what I want
And I gotta get it
When the fire dies
Darkened skies
Hot ash, dead match
Only smoke is left
It's a bad debt
Certain death
But I want what I want
And I got to get it
When the fire dies
Dark in the skies
Hot as a match
Only smoke is left...

well, all in all, this was fast, gripping and intense, dramatic and theatric at times, but still quite enjoyable, even if I felt at certain points that the story lacked a "glue" in surpassing and trensferring in between the events and past time gaps.
But nevertheless, I actually enjoyed meeting the FUCKER

I've been keeping tabs on this author since her first book and her work is like fine wine: it only gets better with time. I was remarkably impressed with this book.

It's the story of Bryleigh and Ryker and the kind of love that could make or break you.

"I knew I consumed him as much as he consumed me, and as much as I knew he was still a f*cker, he was my f*cker that I got to f*ck with for the rest of my life."

Their love was sweet, hot, ugly, cruel, insane, obsessive and possessive. It was also raw and honest, gritty and real. They were both rash... impetuous... impulsive... all words meaning the same thing because these two were freaking reckless. But that's just who they were and you couldn't help but like them and cheer for them.

"I was empty. I needed, still need, you to fill me. You're a part of me, Bryleigh. You've always been a part of me, and when you left, you took my heart with you."

Don't get me wrong. There were many cringe-worthy moments and times when I was yelling "wtf" at this couple. But it all added to make this a good story and I never once doubted their connection or the sincerity of their emotions. Not even time, distance or other people could diminish or kill their love.

"This kiss wasn't hard or fired by lust. This was a kiss of heartbreak, a kiss of not goodbye, but see you later."

While there were some discrepancies and parts that frustrated the heck out of me, they weren't enough to deter me from enjoying this story.

If you've read other books from Amo Jones, then you'll be reunited with her other characters and their stories. If not, this can act as a mild introduction and may spark your interest and hopefully you'll go and read her other books. Regardless, this book was great and I'd definitely read more from this author.

3 Tug of war stars

arc received for HONEST review

First I have to say that Amo Jones is one of my favourite authors for a suspense filled, gritty, dirty MC book. I am hanging for the next instalments of the Devils Own MC series but I just didn't get into this one :(.

Not sure where to start, I will go for the obvious and pick the beginning Haha. So the first part of the story is told from the past, giving us the story of how Ryker and Bryleigh began their relationship. I found it a bit slow and like the first one it was a little jumpy in the story line. It was like being on a roller coaster.
 photo rollercoaster_zpskdmt9vs1.gif

I enjoyed the second part better and found myself getting sucked into all the drama, there seemed to be more going on. My problem with this book was not the story it was the main characters, they just did not click for me and some of the things Ryker said I found myself thinking would a guy say that, the answer always came up as a no. The push/pull tug of war throughout this book had me so frustrated at times it was nearly a DNF.
 photo yugofwar1_zpsotzw1sym.gif

The thing that saved this book for me was the side characters, I LOVED Indigo she was my kind of chick. Where Bryleigh the h was introverted and a little snobby (my opinion) Indigo was the complete opposite, telling it as she saw it and speaking her mind.
Ryker the H is a cocky guy who thinks he is gods gift.
Bryleigh just annoyed me more as the book went on and I just wanted to scream at her:
 photo pullyourshittogether_zpsmj0wuatf.gif

Okay so after all that mumbled gibberish, I came to this conclusion:
Yes, I enjoyed the story.
No, I would not read it again.

Wasn’t not expecting to have this much fun with this duet!
The second book follows Ryker (Ryders twin brother from book 1) and its a second chance romance between him & his childhood sweetheart, who he completely fucked over back in school to try and end it with her as they were too toxic for each other but madly in love

There is a lot of pining, and lots of pushing and pulling between Ryker and Bryleigh you just want to bash their heads together. They are so deeply in love but also push each other away and feel like they can’t be together.
The thing I love most about this duet the found family between all rhe characters in the band and the MC club, and even the side characters relationships!! I literally just wanted to be friends with them all haha

The romance & plot pacing was a bit all over the place and slightly underdeveloped in my opinion, but I just fell in love with all these characters 🫶🏽

If you are into:

*Dumb, rich kids with even dumber names (AKA Bryleigh, Ryker, Ryder, Rellik, Indie)

*Peer pressure to lose your virginity as if you were carrying the pest:
"Bry, I think we need to go out this weekend. It's time to punch that V-card, don't ya think?"

"Indie: did he do the deed?
I rolled my eyes and set my phone on the bedside table. [...] Anyone decent could lay Ryker Oakley flat on his back, but no, not me, obviously."

*Your MC being drunk half of the book:
"I'm drunk"
"Jesus, I'm drunk."
"I was well and truly legless drunk"
"I'm drunk, that's a given."
"Lucky, I was drunk."

*Doing drugs for the most idiotic reasons:
"It flipped my stomach upside down to think I could do that, but then I thought of how young we were and how this would all be a life experience I could maybe share with my kids. 'This one time, I did coke in Tommy Steven's bathroom.' The latter won out and I lifted the bill to my nostril, shutting off the other side with my finger, and bent down to the line of cocaine that was sitting there"

*Slut shaming and double standards:
"She should have come to me instead of being a fucking ho."

"There were people that were all over a fake profile called "Bryleigh Monroe is a Crazy Ho." They actually made a fake profile just to pick on me and upload/share details about me."

"He said you became obsessed with him and started stalking his every move like a crazy person. Hesaid he tried to get rid of you after you 'bled all over his dick', but you didn't get the hint."

All of that said and done by Ryker, our pathetic and coward MC (who I feel like I don't need to mention, is a whore himself) after Bryleigh, our very stupid heroine who was a virgin before him, is just dancing and kissing another guy.

*Cyber bullying:
"Ryker had left comments on photos of me, egging the cyber bullies on. [...] They actually made a fake profile just to pick on me and upload/share details about me. Ryker was in there, commenting on all the photos and status updates"

*Trying to commit suicide because of a douchebag:
"Thoughts came crashing into me, every comment I had seen on MySpace, every snarl, every laugh, and finally, the words Ryker spat at me that night a week ago, and I pressed the razor against my wrist and pushed down. The icy feeling of the opening wound brought me relief and solace in my world of pain. My eyes closed as the first trickle from the wound ran down my arm."

*Murder and death (not once, but twice) mean nothing because you're rich and famous:
"[...] Becca rocked back and forth in the front of her car, staring absently at the mangled mess of what I assumed was once a person"

"We'll rip the bumper off and set up an accident. Have your car up in flames away from here, no evidence. Covers any of your tracks, and then all anyone would have is suspicion."

"'Ryker!' I cried, looking to my dad, who was knelt down by Todd, checking his pulse on his neck, He looked up to the twins and shook his head."

"We didn't mention the tape or the hit and run. We said we found out Todd was abusing you and Ryker lost it. It's not exactly lying."

*Unrealistic blackmailing:
"Becca had run someone over. He was dead when we got there. We all decided that the boys would burn her car and set it up as an accident. That night, I heard someone in the bushes. We thought it was an animal of some sort. It turns out it was Todd. He was out on a hunting trip and videoed us there. He held that to climb the political ladder with you, Daddy. I'm so sorry."

*Quality phrases such as:
"I ran my eyes up his lean chest, past his tan tattooed neck, over his plump lips, and then into the eyes that held so much power and seduction they’d have Mother Theresa ripping her clothes off and calling him Daddy."

"It's always been us, princess. Always. You're a puzzle, but you're my puzzle. I've always loved tearing it apart just so I can be the one to put it back together."

*AND if you think a trip to Croatia and yoga could help you to forgive all you had to go through because of that asshole you used to hang out with:
"My aunt was a 'healer'. She practiced yoga every morning, and every Sunday, we would travel to Petrova Gora, where we would practice yoga under the old monument."

"I now don't have the burning hatred I had feeding into me through an IV line for Ryker. I'm at peace with him. Not so much with some of the decisions that I had made, but at least I didn't live under the dark cloud he formed over me all those years ago."

Then this is your book. Good luck and goodbye Amo Jones.

He pushes, she pushes back......

......this just about sums up Ryker and Bry.

Ryker now the hot rock star and Bry now a nurse.....and both back in Westbeach. Sparks will fly!

It's no secret that I am totally HOT for Ryker and he can absolutely do no wrong in my eyes. But gawd that man is intense.....for Bry, which bruises my ego!!!!!

But when cover ups come back to bite you in the ass, what happens then? Who will feel like letting go from the push and pull?

This book is a great read, hot, angst and the side characters are just so loveable.

The epilogue = KILLED me.

3 stars! ARC review!

When writing my reviews, I don't like to give out spoilers or talk about the plot much, but I feel like I need to in order to better explain my average rating and a very sensitive subject that in my opinion wasn't addressed and simply overshadowed and ignored.

*****SPOILERS AHEAD*****

The book is told in dual POVs and it goes back and forth from past to present. It started so good but then...

The past:

Ryker and Bryleigh meet and are instantly attracted to each other. Bryleigh wants to give up her "v-card" and has chosen Ryker to do the honors.

"One night. Quick and dirty."

What should have been one night and no-strings-attached turned into a casual relationship that went on for 6 months. They were both reckless, immature and too stubborn to realize that they were in love with each other.

Months later the hero is caught in a compromising position that makes the heroine act stupid and a bunch of crap happens. Then, the hero makes up rumors about her that cause her to attempt suicide. I cried so much when she did it. My heart broke for her even though she messed up as well.

Her parents ship her off to another country to live with her aunt where she "heals" and learns to forgive Ryker.

This is where my dilemma starts: the author didn't go into the heroine's healing process which I felt was a must. We never see it; it fast forwards 2 years where nothing really happens and then another 6 years go by. O.o

The present:

They both attend a wedding where Bryleigh, 24, is with her new fiancé and Ryker, 26, acting all alpha, goes up to her as if he didn't do anything to her. When they speak, there's tension, but she tells him she's forgiven him and has made peace and healed with what happened.

This is where I felt like the author could have gone a different route with the storyline.

What really bugged was that the suicide attempt was overshadowed. The hero didn't have to work really hard when they reunited. Hardly any grovelling.

Both were still immature even in their mid twenties. Even after they "got back" together they were ignoring the big elephant in the room. Acting like they couldn't be with each other because of dumb reasons. They both were seriously messed up in the head. In some ways, I felt they were more obsessed than in love with each other.

There was some OTT drama that had my eyes rolling. It was so unbelievable that it stopped me from enjoying the book. I felt like it needed more angst and less drama. More focus on Ryker and Bryleigh and less on the rest.

This is a very serious and sensitive subject that was ignored by EVERYONE. As if she didn't have the scars on her wrists. Even her parents treated him as if nothing had happened. O.o say what?! *scratches head*

What happened in the past is FINALLY addressed in the last few minutes of the book. I am not even playing here! When she finally asks him why he made up those rumors, his reason was not acceptable in my opinion. I mean, come on! Yes, I get he was 18 and she was 16 and teens (even adults) make mistakes but this was something that should have been addressed as soon as they reunite and not towards the end of the book.

WOW!!! Mind blowing doesn't even come close to how i feel about this book!!! Talk about an emotional rollercoaster... Just compleately... Amazing!!!
This is Ryker's story...
Ryker was 18 when he was 'officially' introduced to 16 year old Bryleigh... In a basketball court!!! (you need to read to understand)... And you could feel the energy between them, so strong... You could almost see the sparks coming from the pages!!!
As i refuse to give away spoilers in my reviews i will say... READ THIS BOOK ASAP!!!
With twists and turns throughout that range from heart braking to hot enough to melt kindles... This story will pull you right in from the very start and have you not wanting to stop!!!
As always... Ms Jones has written a book of which i would gladly award double the maximum rating!!!... And i can't wait to discover what she has planned for her next in series... Whatever it is... I'll be patiently waiting (in desperation!!!)... And i can guarantee that it will be totally kickass!!!

This Book Was ABSOLUTELY Brilliant and I Can't Believe It Took Me This Long To Read An Amo Jones Book, 2 On The Bounce And I Am Hooked.

This Book Just Carried Right On From Losing Traction But This Was About Ryker The Second Oakley Twin And His Battle To Fight For The Love Of His Life.

This Story Was Intense And Kept Me On The Edge Of My Seat And Was Just So Emotional Reading It. I Laughed Hard And I Cried Even Harder But I Also Loved The Way These Men Are With How They Are Loyal And Completely Intoxicating When They Sent Their Sights On Something They Want.

Go Read This Amazing Book And Series. I Guarantee You Won't Be Disappointed.

Let me start by saying I enjoyed reading this book. I was excited to read more about the hot twin Ryker and what he had in store. I did, however, find the book hard to follow in places as it jumped back and forward to scenes that really didn't seem fit with what I was expecting or to be in the right place. I was confused with who some of the characters were as they didn't seem to be introduced. Now! with that being said, I got over it and kept reading and am glad I did.

Some of the situations in the book are quite sensitive so make sure you have your kleenex ready or a hand to hold, just in case. These were written extremely well.

You will laugh! You may cry! and you pray for the friendships and loyalty shown in this book.

Bryleigh and Ryker meet in high school and one night of 'Quick and Dirty' turns into a 6 month relationship where neither can't or won't realise their true feelings for each other and then disaster strikes! Fast forward 6 years and they meet again at Ryder, Ryker's twin brothers wedding... These two have never forgotten and that spark again ignites! This book blew my mind. While it isn't my favorite of Amo's (that would be Razing Grace) it's up there at the top of my list. This is Ryker and Bryleigh's story and it was amazing. I don't even want to get into the entire plot or anything because so many amazing crazy things happen that I don't want to ruin it for anyone. Just know, this is a book you need your life. All of Amo's book, you need in your life. But this book should be at the top of your list. I would, however, recommend reading the other book prior to this one - Losing Traction. You do not have to at all, these are stand alones. But I think in order get the full Amo effect, you need to read them in order.

SPOILER ALERT

Wow!! I really enjoyed this book. I believe it has the most realistic blast into the past i have ever read. From their behaviour to the music they listen to, you really feel like these kids are having the time of their lives being young, wild and reckless. but when the ball dropped, it dropped damn hard and the heroine goes through something horrible because of the hero's ego and hotheadedness.
... and then we in the present. This is where I was rubbing my hands together waiting for the heroine to dish out some redemption or for the hero to do some serious grovelling. he is now a celebrity musician and she is stuck in a horrible engagement to an abusive man who has blackmailed her into the situation she is currently living under. And she is basically blackmailed because of shit they hero, heroine and their group of friends did when they were younger.
And this is where things begin to go wrong for me. Even though you want these two to get back together, I don't feel like this group of people truly appreciate that she lived a life of abuse for so many years to hide their secret. 3 years of being raped (in my opinion that what was happening to the heroine), mentally abused and pushed around?! And she has no need for therapy afterwards? Seriously? The author just let that slip by as if was nothing. SO after the hero mistakenly kills the abusive blackmailing ex, she just goes back to the hero and stays at his home?? I didn't find this to be realistic at all, even though it worked for the story. I would have truly thought that the heroine would run for hills from the hero because, let's face it, she doesn't really know him at all anymore. And he was horrible to her when they were younger. Despite this she just sleeps in his bed at his request. I would have expected her to be more reserved and careful of her heart. He did fuck her over all those years back and she knows nothing of him and his present life.
Furthermore, the heroine had nearly succeeded in killing herself after the hero did some horrible stuff to her when they were younger. And that is never truly addressed either. And to me that is really huge. OH! And where are the scars?? She did slit her wrists, how come they are not there as a constant reminder to both of them??? It only comes up in the end. i feel as though the hero should be marred with guilt throughout the story every time he sees them. I just wished he had more remorse.

And let's face it, The hero is truly is and insensitive asshole most of the time. I don't feel as though he redeems himself enough when we return to the present. He still behaves like a cocky teenager.

Regardless, it was a fun read, with interesting characters. I will be keeping an eye on Amo Jones books!

My dilemma – how do you review a book to make you all go out and buy it without revealing too much about the book?

I received the ARC on Wednesday I was finished by Thursday. Who needs to work, eat, drink or sleep and the kids definitely can fend for themselves for 24 hours – can’t they? OMG O.M.G

Amo is a fantastic writer who crafts a story that seems easy to read however has so much depth, stories within stories and information that needs to be there. My world seems to disappear when I am reading her books. This is now the 6th book I have read from Amo and they just keep getting better!

F*cker is book two in the Westbeach Series. It has the right amount of detail and background that you could read as a standalone if you wanted however personally I like having ALL the background. So do yourself a favour start with the Sinful Souls and read on.

After a short start we drift back to the past to learn who, how, when and where
F*cker concentrates on the other twin of the Oakley brothers, Ryker, the more outspoken, extremely HOT and in your face one; and Bryleigh the woman who slays his heart.

Amo has a fantastic knack of bringing in tidbits of her other characters and leaves the reader hoping and praying she may develop some of them into something of their own. Who knows…

Ryker and Bryleigh have the type of relationship where they can’t live with but sure as hell can’t live without. They are kind of like salad dressing you could have the vinegar without the oil and visa versa but why would you want to when they are soooo much better mixed together.

I really don’t want to give away too much of the story line so I won’t.
All I will say is - Early adulthood, party hard, make life changing mistakes, drift apart, life brings them back together many years later along with some danger, the earlier mistakes haunting them, and still partying hard.

Even though he is a F*cker; he is hers and she is his.

BUY IT, READ IT you won’t regret it

I think I am officially obsessed with this author because every time I read her books I get completely consumed by everything in the book I am reading. Everything in the world gets closed off for me and it feels like I am sitting near the people in the stories she tells. Especially this book had me right next to Bryleigh for the entire book, even if it switched to another person, and my stomach was aching around every different chapter wondering how things could have gone this way or that.

This read takes you back to what happened with Bryleigh and Ryker all those years ago during high school and what happened between them for Ryker to not have her family invited to a certain event. Let me tell you I was LIVID when I read about the past that she was put through and no wonder Ryker didn't want them invited. I understood how Ryker was from reading Losing Traction but the way he reacted with Phoebe made me hope he wasn't guy I had pictured in my head. But, Ryker is well, Ryker and he has a hot head when it comes to Bryleigh.

This book was my everything for the past two days, and two days because I wanted to expand this book out as much as I could because I am in love with these characters. All things that include this band and the people they are connected to pulled me into their world and has me aching for more. Some crazy stuff happens throughout this book and not only did those things shock me but they left me speechless with many different emotions. Ms. Jones kept me sad, excited, turned on, disgusted, hurt, and I even laughed quite a bit with Indie and Phoebe at times. If you haven't read an Amo Jones book yet, I suggest you start now because they are dark but they are AMAZING!!

Ryker is a player. Part of the very successful rock band Twisted Transistor, along with his friends and twin brother, Ryker's all about having a good time. Not taking life seriously is what he excels at. With the one exception of Bryleigh.
When his twin Ryder gets married, it's only a matter of time before Ryker comes face to face with his past and the fireworks begin.

Bryleigh was destroyed last time she was with Ryker. When one night changes their relationship forever, the consequences are still been felt years later. After going their separate ways, Bryleigh was determined to stay away him forever but when Ryker comes to her rescue, with explosive consequences, Bryleigh finds it hard not to give in to the push-push, pull-pull between them.
Both addicted to the other, both know it never ends well but can they stay away? Do they even want to?

I loved both these characters. Getting the insight of their past relationship, this book really sucked me in.
Ryker shows a different side to his character in this book. He's still the joker of the group but he's so much more than that. Strong, dependable, obsessed and possessive, he worked his way into my heart. Bryleigh, my heart broke at times for her, but even after all she's gone through she's still a strong, sassy lady.
With the rest of the gang there supporting/egging them on, chemistry that nearly set my kindle on fire and an addictive story, I absolutely loved this book.

When you're young you do a lot of stupid things and make all kinds of mistakes. That pretty much sums of Ryker and Bryleigh's relationship. When they're hot, they're indestructable and nothing and can break them apart. And when they're cold, they're combustible and will incinerate everything in their path.

Ryker did do a REALLY SHITTY thing to Bryleigh when they were in high school that almost cost her her own life and now wants more than anything to win her back. But can he?
And with Bryleigh, finally moving on from her past, will she give Ryker a second chance?

I did like Ryker. He was flawed and made a huge mistake as a kid but wants to make atonement for what he did.

And Bryleigh. Heh, her character kinda was up and down for me. Sometimes I really liked her, and sometimes I found her wishy washy to the point where she grated on my nerves.

Then there's Indie, Bryleigh's nympho bestie, who to me spells trouble with a capital T. Man, was she an instigator. I sometimes couldn't believe her actions. If I was Bryleigh, I would have screamed at her for stirring up things.

Anyway, still hope that Rellik will get his own story and I'm kinda curious who Indie would end up with if she ever did settle down? Connor? Leo, her deceased sister's hubby? Frost? Eh, the list goes on!

Amo Jones has just delivered one of the top reads of the year.

By far this book is a stand out and one that everyone needs to read. Put all your responibilites to the side, sit down and be prepared to not move.

Ryker and Bryleigh are two gorgeous people who are so toxic for each other but without they other they don't work. Hot headed, tattooed and pierced Ryker has no issues showing just how much Bryleigh means to him even if it means pushing her away to try and save themselves from the toxic destruction they are as a couple.

Bryleigh though sweet and innocent has that young rebellion streak and ready to push Rykers limits and its like watching (or in this case reading) a explosion of fireworks..

I friggen loved how Amo has crossed some of our loved characters out of her other books into F*ucker.

Though this is a stand alone I need to go bunker down and reading Losing Traction (Phoebe and Ryders story) as I need more of this hot headed dynamite

"For the miniscule second her lips were connected to mine, nothing existed anymore."

5 Ryker stars!!! Emotional and so well put together!

My heart broke for Bryleigh and everything that poor girl goes through!!! Her and Ryker's relationship is complicated at best, but you can feel the love these two have for each other ooze out of the pages. The history these two share and the bond they formed, is enough to make anyone fall for them, but like I said their past and present is complicated. I love this series, and I can't wait to read more.

When Ryker left he broke Bry and the repercussions have styed with her all these years since. Ryker, now an infamous rockstar, comes back to town for his brothers birthday and lays on Bry for the first time in six years the sparks fly. The chemistry is still there. Bry knows that the last thing she needs in her life again is Ryker, but she cant help it, hes still an addiction for her.

This is my confession: F*CKER is an angsty drama & passion fueled read. This is also the first book of this author that I have had the opportunity to read and Im glad I did. Although the time line does tend to jump around from past to present, its not to difficult to follow.

I was on the fence about reading this
book because I judged this book by
its title. I didn't think I would be
able to take a book with this title
seriously, nor did I think it would
be a serious book. I was wrong.

Ryker and Bryleigh exploded off the
pages and I fell for Ryker immediately.
He was hot, sexy, funny and sweet
all rolled up into one very fine
package.

I got a little lost in the middle when
It slowed down a bit, but other than
that I really enjoyed this book.

I will read more by this author.

I must have a Rock God-biker-army-any of her characters!!!! Another top hit, I love how this story includes a new cast and we get more Tommy, I can see him with, hmmmmmm maybe Indie because Frost is too Frosty for me...or Leo and Indie, like that better!
Ryker I still see with Phoebe, perhaps a drunken 3 way, she gets a shot, he had one with a "friend"

This was such a good read and totally unpredictable (which I loved). The drama, love, hope and friendship through out this book is wonderful to read. There were times I wanted to reach into this book and smack a character or 2. But all in all it was a wonderful book.

This was just a quick and easy read, it wasn't the most original and to be honest I lost interest towards the middle.

The main characters are Bryleigh and Ryker; Bryleigh is a teenage girl, a privelaged girl who is doted on by her parents but as most girls in this situation she wants to rebel and is determined to loose her virginity. Ryker is a close friend of Bryleigh's father and is put in the position of looking after Bryleigh, she uses him to get what she wants but then it turns into a mutual relationship. And then we get a jump into the future years later when Bryleigh and Ryker are reunited at Ryker's brothers wedding Bryleigh in an abusive relationship and Ryker is determined to save her.

There are some secondary characters but I wasn't very interested in them given the storyline between Bryleigh and Ryker was so complex.

The storyline was complex and not brilliantly executed and the paving did tend to drag in the middle. Overall this book was just OK.

Grade A F*CKER Ryker Oakley is.

I finally read Bryleigh and Ryker and to say it was a disappointment, hellll no. Amo Jones again has outdone herself with amazing characters amazing storyline and bringing more drama that her series inter connects. I am absolutely a huge fan of Amo Jones books and I have to yet not dislike one. Keep them coming.
