Kal aka Spark, has signed up himself and his cousins Sev aka Blaze and Vin aka Flame, to the Galaxy Alien Mail Order Brides (GAMOB) and they are on their way to Earth to supposedly find a bride to bring home. They all work on the planet of Bravon and are Killians, a fierce and strong species, who are known to work hard and enjoy fighting. They all work as ash miners on a planet that is too hot on the surface to survive without protective equipment and this is one of the first opportunities for them to have time off together and leave the planet. The organisers at GAMOB have arranged accommodation for them in Las Vegas, as well as training uploads in language and what they would find, with some very weird transmissions of how locals supposedly interact. They have a similar humanoid body and should fit in, but what they have learnt on their stop over, is not exactly up to date or even correct for the situations they will face. Sev and Vin had no idea they were signed up for this, but have no choice now they are on their way. They have everything they should need and even an emergency button in case they run into any trouble! Kal wasn’t really looking for a bride, just a bit of female company, but soon finds Carrie Peterson at a bar, as she escapes from her cousin Missy’s wedding party event. She was forced to attend as a sort of family obligation, due to her wealthy family background ad status, which would look good on Missy’s socials. She was being paired up with a groomsman Greg, but she gets bad vibes from him and wants to avoid as much of the events as possible, which are numerous.
She cries off the pool time with an excuse and ends up in the bar, where she overhears Kal trying to get a woman to come to his bed, in a very open and short manner! He is being extremely honest with the woman he is talking to, but it clearly isn’t working and soon his cousins join him, Carrie is enjoying watching them and listening in and as he gets closer, she ends up giving hm a few hints about his approach to women and the ball gag! He tries to give her his fake name, Spark, but she asks for the name his parents gave him, and he replies Kaldietrichbauer. Quite a mouthful! She wishes him luck on his hunt for a woman and leaves, telling him she will leave it to fate, as to whether they might meet again and that she is around all week. He spends all his time looking of for her afterwards and finally meets up with her and this time she accepts his offer to go to his room and they end up in bed. All of his talk of being an alien throws her and she races off the next morning when one of his cousins comes in and needs his help. When Kal catches up to her, she wants to get away, but ends up in a dangerous situation due to someone else’s problems. Kal’s return flight is leaving early due to Vin and a few other grooms getting into trouble with local authorities, but Kal won’t leave until he sees Carrie again, only to find she is missing! This love story doesn’t end there, as Kal is adamant he will do all he can to get her back and he isn’t leaving without her, or maybe he won’t leave at all. Next up are his cousins’ stories and I look forward to finding out who they fall for and what escapades they have along the way trying to convince human women that they are aliens!
Instant connections with some witty banter and loads of laughs with Kal’s inappropriate mating style, from videos he has seen and thinks are true for all mating rituals! Lots of unexpected situations pop up and bring other sides to the tale, along with love among unusual scenarios and beings.
