Having read Richard Peirce’s book on Westcountry Witches, Wizards and Warlocks, I eagerly started this one. And it was nice! Nice small book providing a quick snapshot of some locally history. I personally just preferred the other book probably cause I was more interested in the subject matter. Nevertheless I still found this book interesting and it was cool because the place Bodmin features in the book and that’s where we were earlier on in the day! We walked right by the Shire In Bodmin today and there it is in the book! Overall I’d recommend this book. 4/5
