A good choice for girls who are ready for chapter books that are a little longer, but maybe not quite ready for the big time. Squishy is a sweet little science loving girl who is living in a blended family and has wholesome, real world problems and scrapes. Cute and earnest.

I love Squishy Taylor books because I would like to make Alice, Baby, Tom, Vee, Jessie, and Squishy with Barbie dolls and act out the story.
I really like the Squishy Taylor because they have mysteries. The mystery in this book is the mysterious, maybe alien, and maybe rocket ship. But if you want to learn more, then you're gonna have to read this book. - Age 8
