Not s good read -- very trying book
Charles and Poppy. I didn't have a problem with Poppy but Charles was TOO WEIRD to me especially about his "secret room".. ?
How many times can poppy say the word FRICK?
This book has so much filler material that does nothing to the story. The author gave so much details about every meal they made because Charles is preparing for his winter hibernating. At least seven or eight times you have to endure it. But there was no information about the actual process of hibernating except for you have to eat a lot. And when they went out to sushi, we had to endure about it. And then we had a fishing -- and I had to listen to a mini class about putting bait on a hook etc.
This is a hard read. Not much emotion to me (except for me crying about hearing pages and pages of sushi making).
I was actually hoping that the mate Mark would actually not light up just to get some real drama. Now that would've been a good story! I don't know what the other reviewer's are reading but I can't be this book. If you enjoy it, peace. I wish I had my time back.

I have read all of Sables books and love her spin on the fairytales I grew up on, from Beauty and the Beast , to Rumplestilskin she has put her bear spin on them all and made me love them, like the tshirt I have says I still read fairytales they are just a little dirtier now.
Poppy is an intern at Asher Lumber and when she meets Charles Dixon she is immediately attracted to him but his reputatuon proceeds him and she is not wanting to hurt her internship, When Charles is made to spend a week with Poppy in his home town he isnt happy until he is told her name , he has one week to make her fall in love with him , one week to see if his mate mark shows she is truly his, but secrets can hurt and only being open and honest can help this be the week that changes their lives forever.

The cover is awesome as usual! I love covers that have both beautiful beasts on them.
This is the 2nd book in this series, and it is for adults only. While you do not have to read the books in order, you get a more awesome picture of the characters when they pop up if you have read the Shifter Princes series and this series in order...this is just my opinion though.
Charles is very hard to get a read on when you start this book, and he comes off badly. But I understood him better at the end of the book. Poppy is focused on her career and being professional. This was definitely an interesting read especially with everything that happens to Poppy. I am always a sap for an HEA.
I recommend this series to all the bear shifter lovers and anyone who loves a good shifter read!

Omg I have waited for another book from Sable Sylvan, it really seems like years but she still has the even flow with her writtings which makes it so easy to read page after page wishing that the fairy-tale comes true.
I'm a little upset that Ms. Sable brought into the picture Charles's biological family and dropped it like a hot potato. But its nice to go back to Port Jameson the little Bear town where it all started.

I loved the latest from Sable Sylvan! Poppy is working an internship for the Asher Lumber Company in Seattle where she meets, or sees, Charles Dixon. Charles is part of the Asher-Dixon bear clan with a reputation for being a playboy, with nicknames like Blue Bear and Bluebeard with the blueish hair and different women on his arm. A chance meeting in an elevator that gets stuck then a meeting with Aspen Asher where he puts the two on an assignment in Port Jameson. The following week has both of them wanting more, but afraid to make the move that could change everything. Charles Dixon is looking for his mate and after learning Poppy's name he is convinced it is her, his mate mark looks like it could be some flower. The more time he spends with Poppy the surer he is that she is, but the whole employer/employee dynamic makes both pause. When they do finally give in they are explosive together and Poppy gives him that family aspect he has been searching for all his life, for he is adopted by the Dixon clan. I absolutely loved Poppy and Charles's story! I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

They called him Blue Bear or Bluebeard around the office. The elevator starts working again and they both get off on the same floor. Poppy has an appointment with Aspen Asher, she was selected for a special project and so was Charles. They were headed to Port Jameson for an entire week. I liked this story. Poppy is a strong willed smart woman. She can hold her own. There is a great plot and a lot of excitement going on. It keeps you reading
till the end. It is fast pass full of love , laughter and a few sad parts. I recommend this book if you like

Another great Asher-Dixon story. Charles Dixon has been thrown together with Poppy by his boss /cousin. Poppy is human and Charles is a blue bear. While trying to keep the hardware store in Port Jameson open, romance is blooming. Will Charles find his true mate? Will Poppy realize what Charles is to her? Will Charles tell her his secret? I really enjoyed their story and give it 5 stars.

William wants her, he knows in his heart that shes the one...now he just needs to prove it.
If you have read any of Sable Sylvan's books you know her sense of humor shines throughout every story. Her brilliant mind weaves fantastical tales from old fables to delight everyone.

Oh my how beautiful & yes we do have some HOT moments in here between intern Poppy & Billionaire Bear Shifter Charles.
We see how these 2 are slightly pushed together by Charles' Uncle by sending them together to their Family Home as he could see that they were each other MATES.
I totally recommend this book by Sable Sylvan which is my first work of hers that I've read.

2nd book in the series and you learn with each book. etc. more about the town- the Bears - I liked this story better than the first one. It is interesting to see the people being put in situations by others and seeing the outcome.
This book had a nice flow to it and how the two characters finally figured out how to work together. I wonder if this story has a follow up story since there were several questions still hanging around Charles.

This is Charles and Poppy's story and WOW ! Now this one is a bit longer then the first in the series but once you start reading you will be hooked !! Charles is one heck of a playboy and Poppy is such a workaholic but dang do they heat up the pages !! I just have to throw this in here BLUE BEAR now you will have to read the story as to why I just had to add that !! This is a well written and hot read !!

I could not put down my ARC copy of Poppy and Charles' adventure, especially all the fun and shenanigans that went on in Port Jameson. I felt like I was there reading the vivid pictures that Sable paints with her words. I will be reading Blue Bear many times over!

I always love a good twist on an old favourite and does it get any better then blue beard?
I loved our special blue bear and his beautiful poppy girl and the story they told was short beautiful and made me want to go curl up with my hubby and relish in the love. A must read for all true romantics.

Good story, poor editing
Good story but so many errors! Whole paragraphs repeated, and phrases or words left out. It made the book hard to follow. Doesn't anyone edit their work anymore?

Blue Bear by Sable Sylvan is second in the Seattle’s Billionaire Bears series. Charles is hunting for his mate and thinks Poppy may be the one, but can he convince her to see the man he is? Poppy is determined to complete her education and grab for her future. Dating her boss is not in the cards until she sees the man beneath the bluster. I enjoyed seeing Charles woo Poppy. Poppy isn’t sure what to expect but she likes what she sees in Charles, even if he spends too much money. Ms. Sylvan shows a woman who is not quite comfortable with where her life is headed but is willing to see where it leads. Charles has opened her eyes to qualities in a man that rev her libido as well as pull at her emotions but trusting what she sees is hard for her. Charles also needs to learn trust as he struggles with his sense of self-worth in a family in which he is loved but different. His has secrets and his secrets have secrets and Ms. Sylvan shows us and him that in order to gain the future he wants he must let Poppy in. I loved seeing Poppy and Charles find not only common ground but trust even as the chemistry between them exploded. I loved that intimacy was much slower in coming which I appreciated. This story by Ms. Sylvan is a quick read but well written. I look forward to returning to this world she has crafted.

Charles has opened her eyes to qualities in a man that rev her libido as well as pull at her emotions but trusting what she sees is hard for her. Charles also needs to learn trust as he struggles with his sense of self-worth in a family in which he is loved but different. His has secrets and his secrets have secrets and Ms. Sylvan shows us and him that in order to gain the future he wants he must let Poppy in. I loved seeing Poppy and Charles find not only common ground but trust even as the chemistry between them exploded. I loved that intimacy was much slower in coming which I appreciated. This story by Ms. Sylvan is a quick read but well written. I look forward to returning to this world she has crafted.

I enjoyed this book. Charles was a Lil more still and reserved than the other bears in this series. However I do enjoy learning bout the mate marks.

I loved the their love story, I would have liked to read about the baby's and grandma. And , If he finds anyone like him.
