Curvy, single and beautiful, Coletta Harper is in dire need of a miracle. Anything that could promise a way out of the hell she’s currently stuck in, even if it’s something as crazy as bearing an “intergalactic baby”.
At first, the idea of signing up as the mail order bride for a male from an alien race sounds too tough to handle, but Coletta is up for the challenge.
Though displeased with the arrangement of choosing a bride from earth, High Prince Rayer quickly realizes that the woman presented as his mate looks as if she had been cast from precious metals and brought to life to incite fantasies of pleasure. And now, the fearless warrior is left to wonder if there is even a name that would suit her. Just when it all seemed like a simple arrangement of intergalactic mating, Cole must fight to escape an enemy whose savagery puts her relationship at stake.
I don't understand the great ratings on this book. It has an interesting premise but the execution is terrible. This book needs major editing, from wrong spelling to wrong word usage to unfinished sentences. I could have overlooked this and have in other books that I loved, but the major problem I had is that most of the story (like 90 %) is just information. There is very little actual interaction between characters. You do not get a feel for who they are and how they are together. The author has a nice idea but should learn how to make a story flow and proper grammar.
I enjoyed the story, but would have enjoyed it more if an editor, or even spell check, had been used. It's tough to really sink into a story when you have to ferret out the meaning of a sentence almost every paragraph due to missed words, incorrectly spelled words or just a big jumble of words. The only saving grace is that I read this through Kindle Unlimited (free), but I would have been very upset if I had paid for it. I can only speculate about what happened between the first book and this one... and hope that the next has seen an editor because the stories are quite engaging. -Z
It's a well thought out story. The only thing wrong was some words where miss spelled like drug was dreg and so on. Even with the miss spells it's a must read.
This is such a good story, just enough of everything it could have been longer. All the characters are great even the antagonists. The world building is extraordinary, and the story is well balanced it should be a 5 star. However, the editing is bad. Sentences that abruptly end, missing words, incorrect wording, along with other issues. I mean the writing is solid until you hit these issues, but they cause you to pause having to reread the sentence multiple times.

I wanted to see what happen to Montala, she sure was a piece of work. I'm glad that his grandfather got the vision or Graith would have probably ended up killing her. She sure did gouge him a lot though, lol he d deserved what he got.
Liked this book much more than the first book in this series. The characters and the worlds are well thought of and written. However, it could use some combing over in editing.
