I CAN'T DO IT ANYMORE.
After the third book i'm sure I won't continue anymore, these books annoy me so bad! What bothered me was the editing of the series; in January Mia couldn't stand the smell of whiskey, Wes even ordered something else, but in this book she has no problem with it.
Anyway, I gave these series a fair shot, tried 3 books, but it isn't for me.

I don't really know why I still read these books. There is a little part in me that wants some answers to what is going to happen between Mia and Wes. Some part of me feels awful to spend money on these books...

This review was first posted on BiteIntoBooks Blog

Pros
Wes: Here he is again, my one and only favorite character from this series. I like the fact he is so committed to Mia and the only reason I would keep reading, is to know what happens with him.
Different: This book was different from January and February where most of the pages are filled with hot steamy sex scenes. There is more feeling to this book.

Cons
Chicago?! So this book is set in Chicago. MY ONE GREAT LOVE. And NOTHING whatsoever reminded me of being in Chicago. Only St. Patricks-day was great festive to think back to, but dayum.. Where is the setting in this book? Navy pier? The bean? Sears Tower? The Museums? Wrigley Field?
Felt rushed: It felt like Mia was in Chicago for maybe 3 days and the book was finished. I would love to read more about the struggles, feelings and read more conversations between Mia, Hector and Tony.

Okay, guys. So I'm really struggling here. I'm not that person that doesn't finish series, you get me. But there are SO MANY good books that I still want to read.. It feels a bit like wasted time and money, since I'm not really enjoying it. But I also wanna know what happens with Wes and Mia.. You get me?

I think this is my favourite book in the series so far! I read this in one day and even while it's short that's saying a lot for me as I hardly ever read a book in a day. This series has exceeded my expectations so far and every book makes me happy again I gave this series a chance. It's deep, meaningful and beautiful. It's filled with emotions. Yes it's about a women who becomes an escort, but along the way she finds herself, friends and maybe even love and it's exciting reading about her journey. She experiences and learns so much in this year and every book she meets new people and is in a new city and it's awesome.

It's hard to say much about the plot of this one without spoiling anything. I did predict the twist in this book, but I didn't mind. I did for a second expect the story to go in a certain direction, but I am actually glad it didn't. I really liked how the situation is handled and how Mia and her client are able to help each other and show them things they didn't see before. There is less sex in this book, but it didn't need it as it's such a wonderful filled with emotions. Gah that scene at the end almost made me cry. It's about fighting for love and what you believe in. The sex scenes that were in this book were really well written and hot like I've come to expect from this author.

I am convinced this series is going to make me crazy waiting for the end as I really want to know where Mia will end up with and how she comes out of this year. Her former clients keep playing a role and get mentioned and you see how they are still part of her life and it's great to see Mia still have contact with Wes, even though I still want her to blow off this whole plan and run back to him, I also understand why she can't.

We meet some great new characters in this book, Mia her new client Tony, Tony's family and more. Mia definitely made some good new friends in this book. I also liked seeing Mia grow and change and struggle with her emotions and feelings in this book. You see how this escorting business is impacting her, but there's also a scene before she goes to her client where she goes to see her father and pay the loan shark that shows why she's doing this again.

To summarize: I can't reveal much about the plot of this one, but I can say this one might be my favourite of the three books so far. It was so beautiful and I almost had tears in my eyes at the scene towards the end. I liked seeing how this client and situation affected Mia and she struggles a bit with her emotions towards the situation, but I liked how Tony and Mia where able to help each other. I think Tony showed Mia something very valuable and she was able to help him as well. I liked how Wes kept playing a part in this book as well and I keep hoping Mia will end up with him. All in all another great instalment in this series and I can't wait to read the next one.

I njenim sisama naravno description

"Pustila sam kosu da mi slobodno pada. To mi je bila najleša crta. Osim sisa. One su bile izvrsne."

Really? description

Assolutamente NO!

I read this one very fast, I liked it more than February and January. But it's not my most enjoyed book, I like where the story is going and I hope it's going to be more like this in the upcoming books.

Well, that was another pleasant surprise. After the February installment, I didn't even bother to read the blurb before jumping into March. So, I was super surprised to find how Mia's next client turned out. (Or maybe I should say, her client's situation?)

I loved how Wes was drawn back in to this book. I loved the characters. I loved the lesson of courage. I'm not sure how Audrey will top the first three in the remaining books to come.

Mia's journey has taken 180 in this book from the previous two in the series. Not what I was expecting when I opened it up, but a good life lesson in her journey.

March was quite fun...I loved the Italian family and the location of Chicago! Even though the series is 12 books in length, I would say it's about the length of a trilogy. And the books are such easy reads!! Perfect for summer!!!!

Wes is zo leuk!

I loved the month of March, after February displeased me with so much sex without nexus, it was good to be able to read a less sexual story and with more romance. I loved Tony and Hector and I must confess that I kept tears in my eyes with the end. Of course it was good to have Wes back, even if it was for a short time.

I liked March way better than that I liked February. I liked the fact that there was less intimacy between Mia and her client. And I think the storyline was quite different from the other parts. So now I'm actually excited to read April!

Nope. Not better than the one before this. It is unrealistic, the main character is annoying and SO unprofessional(!), it is sexist (okay, I guess most romance novels are) and superficial and I just don't want to spend anymore time on this.

***
Please noooo...: January is barely acceptable, a novel not without flaws but readable, it could have been the beginning of a cute saga, enough to be read as a summer reading. Then I moved on to February and March and all the defects of January have expanded, overshadowing the few qualities. It verge on the ridiculous (once a month, the main character falls madly in love with the man of her life?!?). A mere pretext to fill the chapters with poor sex scenes which, I imagine, in the intentions of the author should be hot (or which, perhaps, have been inserted just to catch a few more readers). Basically, twelve months in the life of a prostitute who works for a different man every month (but do not call her a prostitute ... she is a woman in love, she doesn't do it for the money ...). There's no need to say that the following months of the year will remain unread.

This is book 3 of The Calendar Girl Series♧ March comes in like a lamb and blows you away!!! 5☆'s for AudreyCarlan!!!
Things are definitely NOT at all what they appear to be as Mia soon learns.
The tenderness that Audrey Carlan writes difficult and sensitive issues with is heartwarming.
The characters are faced with life changing challenges, personal fears and deep family obligations.
Reading January and February (also 5☆ reads) you'll come to know and love Mia she's easy to fall in love with!!!
These books are so well written you can feel what the characters feel. I know it's that way for me!
I love the way that Mia takes a little piece of every situation with her and grows more and more as a person each time, while leaving a little piece of herself behind for those whose lives she's shared.
The sex is scorching hot and so well written it left me grateful for the surprising twist!!!♡
I love this author, her writing, her characters and her amazing ability to touch on tough issues with truth and tenderness, as well as all the heat she puts into toe curling sex scenes!!! I'm hooked!!! you will be too!!!
With much love and thanks AC:)♡

Mia's journey takes her to Chicago, IL to meet up with restaurateur Anthony "Tony" Fasano. When she meets this stud he's dripping wet and in nothing but a towel. He's massive and sends her heart racing the second she catches a glimpse...only there's more to Tony than a hot bod. Much more but I can't ruin the surprises but only promise they will be a bit eye opening.

In this month's client Mia learns about bravery and taking risks. She also learns a heaping does about the inner workings of an Italian family from Chicago.
