This book gets a 4 star rating because it's a great resource for anyone looking to learn more about a misunderstood aspect of African American culture. I'd recommend this book to anyone interested in African American studies.

Great introduction but as the saying goes… There’s levels to this! I would suggest further research and education before you started lighting candles and etc. Some things are better left alone if you are not prepared for the repercussions.
