About the author

Master Zhi Gang Sha is a Tao grandmaster, healer, teacher, and author of 30 books, including 11 New York Times bestsellers and several other Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Amazon bestsellers. He has an MD degree in Western medicine from China and is also a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture. Master Sha has combined the essence of Western medicine with ancient wisdom to create Soul Mind Body Medicine®, Master Sha’s Soul Healing®, and Tao teachings to help humanity. He is a grandmaster of several ancient arts, including tai chi, qigong, feng shui, and I Ching, and was named Qigong Master of the Year at the Fourth World Congress on Qigong in 2002. Sent back to the library before finishing. I wanted to glean some bits of truth from this book. I always read with a view towards discerning truth from untruth. But the way this fellow went on and on about how his information consisted of "secrets" held onto for generations by "masters" who didn't want to share except with a few disciples, and how he had to beg, repeatedly, to study from a particular "master" along his path for knowledge... it sounded like a fantasy novel after a while. Perhaps there are aspects of Chinese culture that would have helped me understand where he was coming from? Maybe I'll look at it again, later, but maybe not.
