Eriah Collingwood, the male progeny and descendant of a great emperor, has agreed to take part in a training that almost killed him, even though his fellow criminals do not yet see him as an equal. He has become a threat to them and the imminent uprising that is soon to take place. But the danger that comes with being the precious cargo everyone coins him to be is not his greatest fear. There is an invasion happening in the underground city. There are intruders. There are weapons. There is danger.

It was by intention that Eriah had to face such a troubled upbringing. His parents had cultivated his quest for a better life, but it is that same resolution that brings him suffering. He must embark in the journey outside the safe confinement of the sunken city, and conspire with the leaders of the society shaping the war to discover that the government’s experiments are more gruesome and sinister that he originally expected.
