I have lived here for 37 years, I have survived -40 degrees, hauled water, made bear bacon and live in a cabin. I used a fish wheel to catch salmon coming up the Copper River. I was my second husband's chief mechanic's helper and only roadie. I cut firewood on shares, worked as a cocktail waitress, then as a paralegal for over 26 years. I hold the #80 press card as a reporter for the Copper Valley Views newspaper which ceased publication in the 1980s. I've been writing stories since junior high. Retired now, I can devote my time to what I love.
I came to Alaska by way of Arizona and California. I experienced the building of the pipeline up close. Then my second husband and I moved to Wasilla to get warm. It hardly ever drops past -25 in South Central Alaska. I never thought I would love it so much I never want to leave. The beauty of Alaska is a draw I cannot resist. I love the people and the history. I have been captured by a place I came to under duress. Life does play some interesting tricks on one. I lost my first husband to alcohol. My second husband, the love of my life died as a result of disease. We were not apart more than 24 hours for 20 plus years . I never wanted to be anywhere but with him. He was a man to run the river with.

My Review is for Desperately Seeking Sixty -Nine by JD Frettier
This book was hilarious, raunchy and I only pray I can come back this way when I pass. Bonnie and Peter have been together since meeting back during Woodstock. Through a life of wild and crazy, they are now older and well who knows if they are wiser? Bonnie has always lived life how she wants and that is not something that makes her very snobby daughter too happy. One day the unthinkable happens but Bonnie is taken on the journey of her life.
This is a really good, well-written short story with love, laughter, and raunchiness all in one. I enjoyed it very much.
I was gifted this book for my honest review.

Cherime MacFarlane – Blue Pill
A short story about a little blue pill. He wants it, and she doesn’t like it. Not much more I can say about this without giving it away.
J.D. Frettier – Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine
This was a great short story. When Bonnie goes to the other side, her first thought is to hide the sex toys from her children. After she learns to communicate with her husband, things get interesting. A full circle love story that you can read quickly.
RE Hargrave – No Reservations
An enjoyable short read. Lena wants nothing more than to get pregnant. She and Dakota have been trying for a year. When her friend Trinity suggests they just get away for a weekend, things heat up. A great story!
Teri Riggs – Sex in the Crazy Zone
A short story about being a parent and the obstacles you have while trying to keep your sex life alive. There wasn’t a lot of depth to this story. Just a love between two people who can’t seem to find time to have sex, and the crazy ways he ropes her into trying.

Hilarious look at sex
This set will keep laughing Ann's in some ways relate to. So Far I have read Blue Pill by Cherime MacFarlane a story about an order couple Sugar and Andy. Who after some time haven't had sex so Andy sets up a surprise for Sugar , who has a deal to make with her man.
Desperately Seeking Sixty nine. This one will have you laughing about a hippie who has past on and what she goes through in "the green room" waiting for her husband.
No Reservations about a couple wanting to have a baby.
The one I could relate to and laughed the most with was Sex in the Crazy Zone by Teri Riggs. You you have young kids or ever did you can so relate to this story in wanting to find some alone time with your spouse.

This review is for Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine by J.D. Frettier.
At Woodstock in August 1969 Bonnie McMillan meets Peter Hampton and their begins their love affair and marriage.
This story takes a look at their past and also what happens when Bonnie passes away and how both deal with the loss.
I really enjoyed this short story about their love and all the different stages it went through. It made me laugh on how "free" their relationship started and how it changes with Idaho.
I laughed quite hard when Bonnie was able to "channel" and I don't know if poor Bitsy will ever recover!

A collection of short, funny, and steamy stories that don't hold back on ANYTHING! Some of the stories didn't quite capture my attention as others did, but that does not mean in anyway that they weren't enjoyable. They were all well composed and often times quite hilarious. If you're looking for a quick, easy read, that can easily melt your panties off, this is a collection I would recommend.

HIRING JOHN
Brit has just received a promotion to department manager. She finds out that she is going to have to go to a banking convention in Las Vegas. They are sending Kathy with her as she has been with the previous manager in years past.
JD is attending the accountant convention at the same time with his bosses son Jesse. They have attended their first day of meetings, went to eat, then went to the casino. JD heads for his room since they have earlier meetings in the morning.
In the meantime, Brit & Kate have also attended their first days meetings and Kate talks Brit into a night of dancing. Kate limits the number of shots she drinks do when the waitress brings little cups of jello she thinks they will help neutralize the alcohol. Brit & Kate are dancing having a good time when a man that looks like a Viking comes on the chance floor and starts dancing with Kate, Brit decided to go back to the hotel.
Brit finds a flyer for a discreet escort service, decides to call and make a date for the evening. While on the phone she decides she's hungry and goes to find s place to eat. But runs into JD and thinks he's her escort. They go to his room and the scene plays out.
The escapades begin. If you want to know what happens read the book. This is a quick read, you won't want to quit reading until you get to the end. This is a very enjoyable well written book.

They had been trying for a year when Lena's best friend and college roommate, Selena called asking them to come for a weekend visit at the Winery. Selena's husband, Joey's family owned it and they were welcome to stay anytime they wanted.
Lena & Dakota were suffering from another negative pregnancy test and decided it would do them good to have a relaxing weekend with friends. Selena tells Lena they invited them for the weekend as they want to have sex with her. Lena is unsure how Dak will react when she tells him.
This is a well written book, grabs your interest and keeps it. If you want to know what happens you will need to read the book.
Blue Pill
This book was a very quick read. Very well written and enjoyable. Andy is in his late sixties, has a bad knee from a motorcycle accident, and he also can't keep a hard-on long enough to enjoy it. It is their anniversary, he is hiding some sex toys and bottle of blue pills when Sugar arrives home. He has just fallen off the latter on his bad knee. He's bound & determined to have sex with Sugar so he secretly take one of the blue pills. Sugar is very much against him taking them. To see what happens, will Sugar change her mind about the pill, you will want to read this book.
FOUND AT LAST.... AGAIN
This is a quick read, grabs your interest from the first page. Josie seems to be turning Mattie away everytime he gets to make live to her. She doesn't feel like she is sexy any more. Mattie tells her he has a business trip the same week as their anniversary.
Mattie talked Josie into to having the kids stay the weekend with a relative for the weekend so they can have some alone time. After a bit ad start to the weekend, Josie know that she still turns Mattie on. She decides she needs to start working on improving her body. Goes to her cousins house to exercise with them when she finds out Mattie is going to Paris on his business trip and not taking her. Josie thinks he is taking his sexy new secretary and decided to go have lunch with him to confront him. After showering and dressing she hers her cousins talking about what Mattie is doing is so wrong. Josie doesn't ask or talk with her cousins about what she heard. To find out more you will need to read the book.

I loved reading Erotically Incorrect. It is a collection of stories about all of the awkward moments of sex.
Desperately Seeking 69 by JD Frettier was a great and quick read. I loved reading Peter and Bonnie's story. This was a great story of Purgatory, the place you go when waiting to go to heaven or hell. Only they call it 'The Green Room'. Bonnie meets her best friend there after her unexpected death. Bonnie goes on a journey to reconnect with Peter, her one true love. She recalls the way they met and their life together. This was a great quick read. I love the authors work and can't wait to read more by her. This is a must read.

I'm always amazed when authors can condense their writing craft into an engaging, enjoyable short story. Each and every author in this collection has done just that. Each story is interspersed with humorous situations we've all experienced, while trying to be our sexiest, or a tender confession of the pitfalls of growing older in a society where youth and beauty make one feel woefully inept, and in need of reassurance.
I found myself belly laughing, remembering my own foray into the perils of personal landscaping (hot waxing of the Netherparts) and rethinking my own hiding place for "the toys."
These stories are fun, enjoyable, and quick to read. I'm thrilled that this is just a taste of the work these ladies have written, and I have a chance to read more. I'm definitely a new fan!

I purchased this book to check out "Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine" by J.D. Frettier and check out the other authors (all of which are new to me). While the stories within are not my usual reading fare, I enjoyed them all. I especially loved the "feel" J.D. Frettier's story gave me. It was like the movie "The Notebook" with a humorous and paranormal twist.
All-in-all a 4.5 rating rounded to a solid 4.

Love, love, love this collection! Hilarious stories about romance, love, and sex without the whitewash. Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine is a wonderful tale about love after death. All the stories are keepers. Highly recommended.
