JOSE W. DIOKNO, lawyer, Senator, street parliamentarian and champion of human rights, was arrested in 1972 by the martial law regime of Ferdinand Marcos and held without charges and without trial for two years. This is a useful handbook to give to newly-minted lawyers, especially those who have not yet had their day in court. It’s a very brief and practical guide on how to jumpstart one’s legal practice. Diokno’s legal forms and templates are especially helpful.
