That was bad. Forget stories of cheesy insta-love, this time we have insta-pregnancy! As in, have sex, broken condom, swollen belly all before getting out of bed!
The book itself is basically Kindle Unlimited click-bait. The book itself is very short, but then there is the Spanish translation, plus at least 2 other stories. I finished the Daddy Wolf story and it only said I was 3% into the book. I'm definitely not turning another page!
I knew when I downloaded it that this wasn't going to be good, and I was proven right!

Greg'a been working overtime and more slaving away in the corporate world to support himself and fiance, Jorge, a struggling artist, when the unthinkable happens. Greg catches his fiance in his bed with another guy.
Deciding to make a life and career change, Greg starts by quitting his job and creating an account on ShiftMe, a shapeshifter dating app looking to hook up with a shifter who can bring out Greg's wild side. Connecting with a bad ass biker Greg sets up a date at a local gay biker bar only to find out his 'date' isn't looking to connect with anything but a juicy piece of ass.
Rescued by Luke, a sexy silver fox type lupine shapeshifter, Greg goes home with his new friend. It doesn't take long for Greg to want more than a friendship with the older man which culminates in a pregnancy neither had anticipated.
Greg now has to decide if creating a family with Luke or returning to corporate USA as a single parent is in his future.

This book (with an unknown page or word count) came up as a freebie and sounded interesting enough to grab and put at the top of my 'trb' list. The blurb sounded that good.
Opening my download, I found that my kindle registered 24 hrs and 20 minutes of read time. Sounds great. All that lovely man on man biker action featuring shifters to savor and enjoy.
Yup. You might have guessed it. Totally not what I signed on to. The particular story advertised in the blurb ENDED (with no cliffhanger) at 3%. For those in which English isn't their primary language, the same exact story is repeated in Spanish. Again. 3% of my kindle status bar. So.. that's a total of 6%. It's at that point that the author inserts "bonus stories" that are m/f and m/m. I do want to include the author does include this info in the blurb: "18+ Readers Only. Short story with m/f and m/m bonus stories included" so it's not really deceptive to potential readers. Just not prominently worded.
Bottom line. The short story really isn't about bikers so if you grab this one thinking that, you'll be disappointed. It features a brief (and I do mean brief like don't blink or you might miss him) scene with a biker character. The remainder and totality of the story is other wise a dick lit older man/younger man romantic erotica story with a HEA ending.

DNR and
This was a short story and I wish I would never have purchased it.... I found so many editing errors I stopped highlighting them....
KU users this felt like one of those books that they try to get higher page counts so they put fluff in the end after they put a translates version after it....
I am DNR it and won't ever read this author till they get an editor and they stop the KU increase read count scam... If the stories are free than just list them free on Amazon or your own website.....

That was a fast moving plot...
Just no. This was not for me. This read like a first time fanfic author. No offense to the author, but I mean... Insta lust, the most amazing/best sex he's ever had, mpreg immediately, I think the story takes place in the span of like 3 days... I just... no.
There is an audience for this type of quick read, I'm just not it.
I'm gonna quickly summarise this ridiculous fast plot:
Greg is overworked and tired, gets off work early and finds his boyfriend cheating on him. They break up, Greg quits his job, Greg goes downloads a dating app to hook up with a shifter. Greg goes to the club to hook up, regrets his choice and gets 'assaulted' by the hook up dude. Luke comes and saves Greg before the assault gets to illegal territory... Hook up dude threatens Greg so Luke takes him to his territory to protect him. They have sex, Greg gets prego, they take a walk (camping trip) in the forest, and hook up dude is at Lukes house when they return to fight/kill(?) Greg. Luke wins the fight. Time skip (of 1 month) and Greg gives birth. HEA.
Like wtf? Literally 3-4 days that plot happens in. Insane.

Necesito con urgencia que mis amigos aprendan a leer algo más que publicaciones y memes.
Necesito hablar con alguien sobre esto.
Esto es el colmo de la ironía. No sé en que fantasía homoerótica está, quedar embarazado de un hombre lobo el primer día que lo conoces. Me parece interesante que veas a alguien y que pienses que quedar con él sea atractivo e incluso enrollarse, pero es que se me caen los dientes, cuando la realidad de esta historia radica en que, quedes embarazado y aceptes que el mundo ha obrado un milagro y que eres la virgen María del Reino Homolobezno. Es que a mí.....se me han caído hasta el último pelo de la cabeza. No sé si esto es para reír o burlarme de algo tan ingenuamente catártico. Es soso. Y no tiene que ver absolutamente con la idea de que un hombre quede embarazado, sino con la posición de estúpidos que asumen los protagonistas de la historia.
Y las escenas de sexo son igual de malas que la propia historia. Se salva la portada del señorcito ese, pero por lo demás es una verdadera lástima.

Absolutely NOT! What was this? The writing is terrible, all I kept saying was why wasn’t this edited cause there’s no way it could’ve been. It was so bad that I kept getting confused about what the sentence was actually trying to say. Not a good look.
I do love when authors try to make something their own but come on. This wasn’t fated mates, insta-love, or even smut. We had already been clued in that this would be an Mpreg story because Greg just happened to mention before going on his little excursion. However, in what world does pregnancy show immediately after cumming? He literally say “oops”. Look down there’s a baby bump already. Ugh then the whole you gotta like me for me bs when there wasn’t even much to him but being a lone wolf stuck in his ways.
I skimmed a lot just to get through. Thought that maybe they would mate at some point or at least have the kid, who by the way came out as an actual pup. Yeah this whole scene is a no for me.

This is a intriguing and interesting book to read and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The story cover Grey struck in a soulless corporate job who is given the day off by his boss (Brad) he decides to go home and surprise his fiancee (Jorge) well the surprise was on him, when he finds Jorge in bed with another man. He packs his belongings and leaves, he then talks to Brad and resigns and moves in with a straight friend Marty. What you will find in this story is drama, a fiancee's betrayal, packing and leaving, stay with a friend, browsing the web (Facebook), noticing a app "ShiftMe", creates account, browsing, notices a bad-ass, date, bar, shifter (Bruce) becomes aggressive, rescued, older man (Luke), message, Luke takes Greg home for protection, Luke a lone wolf, bedroom, intimacy, condom broke, pregnant, shock, tea, crying, sleeping/waking up, trying to be together, going for camping trip, hiking in woods, Luke does tattoo's for shifter MC's, shifting, a beautiful silver wolf, home, Bruce arrives, threatening, both men shifting and fighting, Luke winning, Luke not going to go easy on Greg, a few days later, going into labor, twins, family complete, emotional feelings, love and erotic scenes. There is bonus stories included which consists of: M/F, M/M and Secret of the Wolf (Gay Shifter). The story-line and plots of the various stories are well thought out and written and the characters have personality. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a well written book about shapeshifters with a happy ending.
